    • Most museums have little shops, would be ideal for that. Also high end stores that appeal to the traditional quality market could use to display accessories - I’m thinking like the kind of shops in Leeds Victoria quarter which are all in our historic arcades surrounded by Victorian architecture. But I love the museum idea.

Where is the loyalty when the going gets tough ?😂😂😂 Which model is your Makita miter saw?

  • You did a great job! The idea behind donating this to a charity thrift store is brilliant! They can display donated items in an elegant display cabinet, thereby helping them to keep on getting profit. Things like this are needed just like donations to help them run. However, I would offer to install some locks for safety, and in the cabinet, to make a thin piece of wood, with maybe some thin felting, then black or navy velvet for display. The jewelry wont slide around on the wood and scratch it up. Just some thoughts.

  • You definitely turned this trash into a beautiful treasure. I think a lot of people, business and personal, would be interested in this. I'm thinking someone who makes their own jewellery and does craft fairs, or someone who wants to display their curios. It certainly has a lot of possibilities. You did a fantastic job Jay.

  • From trash to treasure! You did a fantastic work on that piece. It was really damaged and now it became a nice furniture that can be used at any fancy small shop, as a fine display. Great job!

  • What a fussy, time consuming job, you pulled it off beautifully. I'm so glad you persevered with restoration rather than rebuilding; you kept it's beautiful character and history alive. Awesome work!

  • I can’t think of another person who was meant to have this piece of history to restore. You gave life to something that most likely, within another year, would have blown away. Beautiful job. I would imagine anyone who has a shop would love this as a display piece. ✌🏻🤍🤞

  • You did it. Wow! I do believe it looks better now than it ever has. Each bit of sanding was necessary. I had to wait a few hours to watch the video & my anticipation was not disappointed. Thank you for saving this piece. It is a testament to your perseverance, experience & craftsmanship that it looks so nice now. Love the hardware.

  • Nice to see a restoration video that isn't made by a Mary Sue - the ones where everything just magically goes to plan and rusty screws just pop out. Great work, looking forward to checking out more of your videos.
