Stuff is popping up at close distance in the background. The wheat also moves to uniform
When are the developers going to realize that you don't need 10 step sounds to walk 4-5 feet? How tall is the protagonist here, 3 ft. tall?
kkkkk
that would be triggered from physical materials. but maybe the audio for the physical materials should be longer
Be the developer you want to see. Seriously. Show them how it’s done.
@@Instant_Nerf You don't need to be a cook to tell a food is too salty. Same thing here.
@@Instant_Nerf seriously shut up
This is truly incredible. Everything I watched during the video reminded me of The Witcher 3. I hope Witcher 4 will be released as a beautiful game like this.
I want to play my all time favorite game Minesweeper and Solitaire using this engine.
Awesome. First one is genuinely unnerving. I reserve judgement until I see how people look though.
too much popping..
The witcher 4!
Soon as I saw it that was my first thoughts
What great companions! Thank you for distinction again!
Looks insanely good. Now if only there were actual masterpiece games utilizing this technology.
Looks AMAZING
Thanks for sharing! These look epic! We are living in exciting times when it comes to game creation. To think of the old Atari and my Amstrad CPC6128. We've come a long way. Just need that 50 series GPU now. These realistic environments are testing for my 3090Ti.
50 series? presuming you want a midrange card like most gamers, you're going to have a long wait.
These demos have you move at a snails pace to limit impact on draw distance, pop in and fps. Even then its challenging what i assume is top end hardware. So while it looks great, hardware has to catch up to it.
This is the first demo I've seen that looks about the same as regular gameplay - most is amazingly detailed but you'd never see graphics that good in a real game.
fenomenal! it would be nice if there look for sounds in the future. Sometime foodstep-sound as example stairs outside (stone) listen like living room. A little sand or something dirt with a system that reconiced indoor/outdoor weahter/off for a bigger soundpack. 9:25
If the Defect Nature demo had reactive water that would be a truly amazing demo with everything put together
If only we all had rigs that could play that.
That will probably happen sooner than you think
I recently played the game called Silent breath it has similar graphics to this in the vid, and i played it with 100+ fps
@@GamingAndChill Keep in mind I said 'if only WE ALL had rigs that could play that'.
@@SheepAmongGoats Oh, my bad
@@GamingAndChill I've got a decent rig, but I mean even consoles.
The last demo looks a hurricane. 🤣
4/10 “Not enough wind” - IGN
5.4 업데이트 이후 나나이트가 한층 더 세련되진것 같아요
the arda middle arth wow😉
still alot of work on plants needed
Looks great, but I feel like I'm at the stage where I'd say: "I get it. UE5 allows for very highly detailed environments, but how about we see some more dynamic stuff?" I'd like to see things interacting with these environments more. Some environmental destruction would be interesting to see. All those trees, huh? Where's the woodsman and his axe to hack them limb by limb? Heck, even a truck or ATV navigating such detailed wooded areas would be interesting. I'm pretty sure it's harder to pull off more dynamics, but what good is having all that detail and not being able to interact with it? By the way, games in the past did that, with MUCH less powerful hardware. It's high time to take it to the next level!
Yeah, how about some action? It's a GAME ENGINE after all, not just a render engine.
People need to realize realistic graphics r good and all but without the world being feel alive or the game feeling fun its not worth it, these types of graphics will get justice when theres a game like rdr 2 is made which honestly saying remove the good graphics part from rdr 2 and yet it still would be the best open world game bec of how much is thr in it and THEN good graphics comes which makes these games perfection
@@princerawat4297 Yes. I think a game like Zelda BotW/TotK is an even better example, because they are literally running on a potato powered device topping 7w for the entire system(screen and all) while playing. And yet, the way they allow the player to interact with the world is mind-boggling. So many simulated systems, all applied in a global and cohesive manner, giving the player unprecedented freedom to play the game how they choose. With today's hardware being so powerful, it's sad(shameful even) that games have taken several backward steps in this regard. Outside of some indie games, and a '2 or 3' "Tripple A" titles, there's been a gradual regression when it comes to making very dynamic worlds. It's funny how games from more than a decade ago attempted more simulation than most games today. The next GTA should help bring some balance to the equation, but it's gonna take more games.
I love it ASD Durr Burger not bad job. Story plot for creative writing 😮
Dang, I love it.
I need a Gothic game with these graphics!
5:50 the footsteps sounds way faster than what the speed of the camera moves
This is the least I would expect from WoW 2.
Bro that looks amazing! Can you please make tutorial about how you achieved that cloudy sky and environment lightning? Please please please
Love the atmosphere and the graphics but t will be years before the hardware catch-up to that.
Have you seen people playing Silent Breath. The game looks very realistic and it's playing very decent. I think hardware is at the doors already in terms of catching up.
replace " years" by " months", it will be more realistic...next year, PS5 pro will give you that without a problem.
@@babacalouche yeah PS5 can already give you that but at what fps though
@@doni-sitlgaming4182 you're correct regarding the PS5, it's a bit on the poor side, but i've mentionned the Pro version which will be released next year with astronomical performances...this one should do the trick :)
@@babacalouche X2 or X3 in some specs figures on the PS5 pro will not translate into X2 or X3 of fps. Sure it will have more performance but don't hope for "astronomical" ones like you said.
Where can i Download those tech demos?
How realistic can it be? The bushes are swinging like a tornado and the water is azure
This step over the crow 🐦⬛ 😂 1:33
As for the lighting, it is somewhat complete. The next step is to pursue the naturalness of wind and air movement.
I've looked at many fires in the dark, but never seen any with lens flare.
There is visible pop in, definitely not Nanite then.
Elder Scrolls 6 + Hunt Showdown 2 with this please! But why do Gamedesigners always think that grass and bushes need to fly around like crazy? That always looks stupid and immersionbreaking.
How did you get it into 5.4?
1:29 there’s no way that lamp would be putting out that amount of light during daylight
I will applaud when they can do dynamic weather and water physics properly
This is a quixel demo from some years back. Not Unreal 5.4
Looks OK
I dream the day I could play zelda wearing some vizion pro or quest 3 quality in this realistic world
If they gave us photo realistic graphic its game over for them,so they gave us endless evolution😊
How long it took you to create these worlds?
That scarecrow is cool af, kinda reminded me of Jeepers Creepers.
Graphics and details means nothing without a good idea, game mechanics, sound, story. Which is most games :)
0:59 This scene reminds me of the game 'Fable.'
Звуки Эровского ставка в третьей игре заставляют пустить ностальгическую слезу
Start of the video: Grasses and plants remain static at a certain distance, "no wind effect over half a distance"!!!! Plus there is clipping! This is normal for Unreal Engine 5. The sound effects were done to perfection. I'm sorry but things have really gotten better since then!!!!!
Pop in effects hasn't resolved yet?
Youtoobers in 10 years: "I can't believe we used to think these graphics were good!"
We need world peace so we can experience how much better video games will be in the future. Imagine 15 years from now. I’m in 15 years from now the standalone headsets will do better than this
I can't wait until this hits VR games
Why does the fire have purple bloom/ambient lightning?
Are these Megascan Asset ?
Would be nice if the next elder scrolls looks like this.
No chance thanks to bethesda using creation engine.
I love how the player just eats away potato chips into the mic
In Scarecrow demo there is no shadows from wheat on the field and no selfshadowing on wheat sprouts.
Resident Evil Village
Odd amount of suddenly started crows in that demo.
TOP👍
This is what I expect in nee games in 2025 . Please make executable demo for GPU testing purposes
Why the following: 1-The foot steps & the camera moves are unsynced ? 2- Foot steps sound very poor? 3- There was no dynamic foot steps that changes the pattern of a person while walking?
RTX 8090 will be needed 😀 I would prefer more outdated, but better optimized games.
is this a demo from the game "Smuta"?
Nothing screams realism like flickering popping wheat fields/foliage. /s. Ambiance is pretty nice though.
The developers must increase the water effects during an increased level of wind. Something like a wrinkled surface, level by level, according to the strength of the wind!!! Can't still so calm the water surface with an 8-9 bft wind, like it does on the 15:50 minute!!!
It would be nice if devs prioritize performance and a good story/gameplay over how the fking game looks. Look what happened to Dragon's dogma 2
Cemetery: day -> 1 PM Cemetery: night -> 1 PM overcast
the popping and sudden change of detail level based on distance is very annoying in the first clip - but the assets loooks very nice
I bet the water still looks like it did in 2005 (every game that's come out this generation)
what baffles me..... all these tech demos over the past couple of year from Epic look frigging amazing .... and film makers are using this for certain.... but why the hell am I not seeing any actually GAMES that look this good??
It's too demanding for realtime rendering. CGI effects in Movies are pre-rendered and it takes a lot of processing power and time to render
The next Resident Evil deserves these graphics
Graphics are insane. Frametimes look like a terrible stuttery mess
Lots of work to do yet. Unreal is accurate.
Isn’t this old as hell I swear I’ve seen it before
That first area definitely is. I think I even remember trying out the demo myself a couple years ago.
From your videos before; I have an idea!
From your videos before; I have an idea for my own 3D Scanned Skybox. I will make myself from my own photos taken made. It will ideally use 3D digitized Sky photos (Sun Layers Included) to create deep blue sky with anime-like sun gleam, and gradient layers of clouds. It's kind of an old-school technique, but if applied correctly, then it will futurefy more meaningful skybox scenery to have a realistic (or dreamier) look.
Imagine the next Resident Evil game after Village with this graphics.
super windy yet the water is flat calm?
It would be nice to see tall grass get pushed to the side when you walk through it.
Good, but i still prefer a much more stable engine with rock solid textures and no visible "pop ups" on the screen. Or the scenario building in the distance. Or the terrible and unrealistic moving trees and foliages. It all takes me out of this reality. Take "Doom" from 1993 for example. Its the oldest engine but still it is rock solid, no visible scenario errors. I wish these modern engines had much less details but much more stable textures and scenarios. For me its much more important.
Unreal Engine 6 will be change everything
The first video Time code look like a Resident evil
I WANT BIZZARD TO SEE THIS BECAUSE WOW BEEN ON A 15 YEAR OLD GRAPHIC ENGINE AND THE GPAPIC HAS NOT CHANGE MUCH SINCE 2005
Water still doesn't react to movement?
Pelo jeito só venta próximo, 19:29, as arvores e plantas distantes estão estáticas.
now we need AI powered NPCs that you can hold deep conversations with. oh and AI written in game books.
Cementary... massiv Dark Souls/Bloodborne Vibes. Dark Souls 4 in this Graphics... uuuuhh :D
Ладно, фотореалестичностью пока не пахнет, но уже совсем не плохо. Статичное изображение будет точно как в жизни.
You can see the trees popping in
Que lindo jugar GREEN HELL de esta manera.
was this individually designed by someone? I feel like at 9:02 the way the lighting hits that building looks so terrible. Yeah, there's a lot of textures on the ground, more clutter with the leaves but I felt like whomever it was that designed this did a poor job of showing off how strong UE5 can look. I've seen so much better demos. This almost looked like 1-2 generations of UE before. I dunno if this was created by someone in their own home or something but it needs a lot of improvements on lighting. More clutter /More items =/= better.
Fox Engine is the best!
none of these are 5.4... all of these are either 5.3 or earlier according to the links in the description
Graphics are ultra realistic, gameplay is still 30 years behind...
Imagine this being skyrim + vr headset
It still looks like a game.
Imagine new Witcher with graphics like that :)
I am wondering, is stuttering can't never been solved in Unreal Engine?
You can tell very little effort was made to make this as good as it can be. It feels as unfinished as Red Dead Redemption Online.
