Something few people outside of France seem to notice is that she wrote the song on her own, in the tradition of the greatest French singers who were also great lyricists. No wonder that she lives the whole song it as if she was singing it from the deepest depths of her soul: she is.

Both performances are beautiful in their own way; both tell their own stories with sincerity and emotions that should be widely appreciated. If you are here to thrash Barbara, deny all of her efforts to write Voila and perform it with all of her power and sincerity because "Emma sings better"? F you, don't come back. Dance is equally a part of music. No need to go for depressing ballads and minimalistic sets because your country is too cheap to pay for the add-ons just cause the subscription was already that pricey. • For those who don't understand French : That's the story of "someonone" who cannot believe in her dreams and who needs the support of everyone around her. That can be the singer herself because she says "this black-eyed woman and her crazy dream". Maybe her crazy dream was to win Eurovision song contest ? We don't know. She just "wants to write story that hurt people in their heart and soul". And Barbara Pravi wrote the lyrics and the music. She is full of scars, she barely not exists. Sometimes, she doesn't like herself. She needs people to look at her to feel better. She just used to stand in front of people and do what she does the best : singing, be nude in front of everyone who's staring at her at this particular moment. She exists at this right moment because people make her existing. Is she better than another singer ? No. But the difference is there : she gives everything, always. She puts everything she has inside her on the floor. Well, that's the story of someone who doesn't trust herself but when she's making her thing, everything is ok. And so, what happens when the lights shut off ? Is she continuing to exist ? Her voice continues in our head, her story too. But what about her ?
