They have such a sweet bond, Cher is licking her face and hair, they are cuddling, playing together. Exactly. My family had pets even before my sister and I were born… they were always in our life, and we were taught very early to be respectful, calm and gentle with them. We were part of their lives, we sometimes fed them, brushed them, gave them water… we learned to be responsible for them. I will be always thankful to my parents because I learned so many important lessons so early - it didn’t even feel like learning or doing chores, they taught us to see the joy in caring for another living being (and we both have enjoyed it ever since). I genuinely pity and feel sad for all the children who grow up without animals (or with animals, but nobody shows them how to behave with them) because they miss out on so much.

You can’t domesticate a snake.
@Nik they deleted my initial reply to you - must have been too harsh. Do you also believe in unicorns and jackalopes too? Learn what domestication actually means before you call someone else a dumb a$$.
@@unkownshoo1038 first off, I love snakes and other reptiles. I’ve owned large constrictor snakes and they are amazing creatures - so I’m not one of these anti-snake people. I also have a degree in biology and have taken courses specifically in herpetology. I do agree that certain species of snakes are more docile than others. Some snakes with routine handling can become acclimated to human contact and tamed to a degree. But saying a snake is domesticated because it is calm and doesn’t behave aggressively is a big stretch. Unlike cats and dogs, which underwent thousands of years of careful breeding to finally become domesticated, snakes function almost 100% by instinct. That snake in the video is a beautiful specimen, no doubt. It appears to be well taken care of. However, make no mistake, that snake isn’t hanging around that little girl because it thinks it’s a friend and wants to play Barbie dolls - she is a heat source, nothing more. Hopefully she doesn’t become a food source. It could easily kill her, could even do it accidentally. So again, I’d encourage anyone who is responsible to have a snake if they want one. But it is more of one of those pets that you observe as opposed to having a 2 way interaction like a dog or cat or even a hamster.
@@unkownshoo1038 if you released that snake into the Florida Everglades it would do just fine. It is not trained. It would do fine because it functions on instinct. It’s coloration would not help it because that is not natural (lack of camo), but a 16 footer won’t come across too many predators that can take it out. What do you think it is trained to do? It’s not going to fetch your slippers. They are amazing but aren’t too bright. If you want a reptile that does give feedback and you can train to a degree, try a bearded dragon.
@@unkownshoo1038 ok, we’re going in circles. Post a KZhead video when you train your snake to retrieve a stick or perform search and rescue, or perhaps detect drugs at the airport. Stay safe and enjoy.

This is so precious. Good kid.
Kidnapper: I gonna kidnap you Cher: so you chose death?
Ssssso you have chossssse death ?
No frfr
Cher: Trusssst in meeee…
You can tell the dad is a responsible snake owner, he's doing a fantastic job teaching his daughter
Very true! Its very refreshing to see!

This is so sweet.
When I first watch the video , I was like "How the heck is a child that small can be that gentle to animals, no grabbing or poking ?" then the father explains about how he raise his daughter and i was like damnnnnnnnn, that is such a good good father ngl
True, true
that dad's hard carry
I work at a life science museum with the ambassador animals, and kids like this girl are the best to interact with. A lot of kiddos don't really know how to be gentle with animals, unfortunately.
When my niece Kayleigh was about 10 months old, she was spending Christmas morning at our house and the cat, Lizzie walked by. Kayleigh of course toddled over to Lizzie and patted at her, and her mom said "No, Kayleigh, be nice to the kitty." Kayleigh looked at her mother, then the cat, and started stroking Lizzie gently. It's not hard to raise kids to be gentle with animals, you just gotta be on top of it ✌🏻
"The snakes haven't bitten us, the cats have bitten us. And scratched us..." As a cat parent, I felt that. My dogs (play) bite me too. I've come across wild snakes and they havent bitten me. And I even stepped on one accidently. Snakes are actually good guys. Except one that came on the bed with my sis and her boyfriend, gunning for the window above their heads, lol.
That snake will poison her own life
@@aru_shan That's a non-venomous snake.
depends entirely on the region you live in and the snake. north america? yeah, snakes be pretty chill, we don't have many that are big threats to us. literally anywhere else in the world? bad news bears
@@whitemoonwolf13 Except the UK. We only have one venomous snake, and its venom isn't all that dangerous.
People are giving birth to cats?
Really amazing, unbelievable ,what a fantastic relation b/w them
It looked so funny when they were both standing and looking out the window
I'm not only impressed by how gentle Cher is, but also Emi. It's so important for kids to learn how to act with any animal, and it's great to see that the dad did his due diligence in making sure she would be well behaved and respectful with such a powerful, beautiful creature.
it's such a rare moment when a parent actually teaches their children to be respectful and gentle with animals. most of the kids i know would grab and pull cats harshly and the parents does nothing about it :(
So well expressed, and so true.
@@venn7276 It's quite unfortunate to think that most parents are that negligent when it comes to these sorts of things. If anyone is to own a pet, it should just be common sense to know both how to properly care for it, as well as to treat it well so that it doesn't decide to turn on it's owner one day
@@venn7276 most of the kids I see with animals handle them with love lol
@@grievous5704 you can search videos, there are plenty that has baby/toddlers messing with pets and the pets gets "punished" for it instead
Poor Cher must keep thinking "Why is my human shrinking all the time?"
LOL
so sweet and brave kid
It’s important to teach your kids to be kind to animals
Happy to hear that the girl isn’t left alone with the snake. A real adventure having this animal around.
Even with someone around... if the snake suddenly decides to have an easy meal she would be dead before you can save her.
@@kronotic same could be said of any large dog
@@123lodge8 true we just trust dogs much more than a snake
@@BoRaiChoWins but should we? Dogs attack people by the thousands every year. I have a large dog myself. Friendly to people. Still wouldn’t allow him around a child unsupervised. Snake owner doing the same. Responsible ownership there.
@@BoRaiChoWins Dogs aren't cold-blooded reptiles and have a different brain structure.
You are a GOOD dad. “They are never left unsupervised….” You, sir, are an excellent dad. 🤩😎👍🏾
@@AscensionX-uq1mk Okay, says the person who made an essay making fun of some person for commending a father for supervising his child. Discredit this person, he's a great dad! Bless those who properly know how to handle boa constrictors!! Which don't naturally bite or have the jaw strength to hold a child, you silly bean.
@@AscensionX-uq1mk Yeah, okay ignorant Christian. Just get a life already
@@inkspectra6456 FYI she is in a size fit enough to be eaten by a snake that size .. but Cher is a captive breed snake, not a wild snake .. and to see his father know how to keep a snake as a pet like not letting her giving food to snake until she is big enough show him a really good parents 👍👍
@@AscensionX-uq1mk 🤡
@@AscensionX-uq1mk Did you watch the video? The snake is 16 ft NOW. When she was a toddler it was the size of a garter snake.
Emi has GOT to be the coolest girl in school, just imagine saying you have a pet python that cuddles with you during the zoom call
Literally the nicest and most chill snake I’d ever seen 😎😎😎
How to form a bond with snakes. 1. Stroke them 2. Always feed it 3. Always be gentle 4. Don't let it stay alone all the time 5. Don't Always have it in a cage 6. Make it comfortable 7. Don't force cuddles 8. Try to not startle it 9. Always make sure the snake isn't in your way while walking because you could step on it and trigger it 10. Never let children play with it unsupervised

Now I want to hear stories of children playing with snakes unsupervised.
Orochimaru taught you that right?
Dad taught and raised her well, and daughter has most courage than most humans who would run away from the snake!
Why would she? They grew up together.

Look how she adores the snake 🥹 Every creature love to be appreciated this way.
OMG Cher is absolutely gorgeous, I love Boas they're among my top favorite animals in the world! And this is amazing to watch because snakes in general are solitary animals, they aren't used to long term interactions. But Cher feels like she's part of your family and having grown up around all of you makes her truly comfortable.
Reticulated python.
Respect to this guy to actually teaching his daughter how to behave around the snake and the little speach she gave about the snake was so cute 🥹🥹🥹🥹😭😭😭
