In this video I show you the construction of a motorcycle frame, the original was so badly damaged that this had to be completely rebuilt.
You can find the first part here: • Building a motorcycle ...
Also in this video I use mainly standard tools that should be found in most metal workshops.
The frame is built from chromo steel ( 25CrMo4 )
This is not a complete motorcycle project, but I show you the interesting fabrication steps.
Have fun watching.

great videos. I enjoy the minimalist approach - no screamy music, no egotistical guy blabbering the whole time, just artwork and skill that speaks for itself. brilliant!
Exactly. It's perfect.
Very true indeed!👏👏👏👏👏👏
Watching you work is so therapeutic
Agreed. The artisanship and precision is inspiring.
Watching anybody work but myself is therapeutic.
Beautiful frame. It would look great with just a clear coat for rust protection and keep all the welds and heat affected zones visible
Amazing workmanship...I am so glad that you choose not to add booming music..
I hope this masterpiece only gets a clear coat, an engine and two wheels. So that it is presented properly!
The frame videos were excellent, having the right tools for the job is half the battle... beautiful craftsmanship!
This is so enjoyable and satisfying to watch. You Sir are a true master of your profession!
I was at dinner with mates, and I got notification from youtube of your new video. Sorry mate, gotta go home, important stuff. And sit here all by myself, watched every second of it and loved it.
Thanks you for watching it
@@KRTframework thank YOU for making it!!!
Your work is immaculate, so much more goes into this than is shown on the video, respect…
Thank you, yes, unfortunately you can not capture everything on the camera, but I try as best I can.
@@KRTframework What metal do you use for the motorcycle frame?
@@user-ox3rj9th9m See description.
im at a loss of words... your work would take weeks to explain to a person. thank you for the video- - - its truly inspiring.
This is perfection and perfectionism
What a real joy it's been to watch you work.
Amazing finishing with a band-saw and grinders. Human CNC skills lol
Workmanship at it’s finest. Thanks.
would love to do this kind of work, true craftsmanship yeah 10/10
Thanks
Absolute pleasure watching you work ,,fantastic welding
The level pure craftmanship in this video is almost obscene.
I like the silence when you're welding...
Amazing craftsmanship. Should be considered an art form.
Wow! Just beautiful! Looking forward to see the complete bike Sir!
Pressurizing the frame with shielding gas is a damn cool trick. I've never seen that done before.
Absolute magic and an inspiration!
Amazing. Thanks for making this one longer! I love watching you work.
Thank you
@@KRTframework can you make a stainless steel frame for my bike? I keep it in a fisherman’s shed at the beach and it’s very rusty. (Also if possible to make it out of thicker walled tubes so that it would stop cracking from the weight) If yes, how much would it cost? (Can’t part with that bike, it’s a workhorse donkey) It’s a tw200
Love your welding and your tube fitting just fantastic love it thanks
This is pure art! Thank you for sharing!
Hmmmm clever method to get the inert gas into the weld joint. Well done..Beautiful work.
Fantastic Workmanship, a pleasure to watch and a much better frame than the original - super camera work too and story boarding, not easy to combine all these skills - The only thing I would say is that you make it look so easy but I know it absolutely is not, even going to the trouble of back-purging all the joints. Thank you very much for sharing your talents and such an inspiring demonstration of what can be done with a limited amount of tools - pure brilliance!
Thank you again !
There is nothing like watching true craftsman apply their skills!
Thank you
Clear, .. Silent.. So smooth !!
I understand argon from both sides, and aluminum tape, super!!!!!
Great fixtures. You make it look very easy and it isn't. I do some frame modifications for my Supermono projects and getting tube gaps to disappear was a pain. 👍
Building motorcycle frame.. amazing brather..
wow, that's a work of art!
I swear this is the only video on KZhead that I can fvcking smell and I love it
Those weld beads looked like stacked dimes. Fabrication is off the charts as usual 👌
Thanks again :)
Fantastic. A true artist.
Je confirme en français, regarder vous regarder travailler est une vrai thérapie, je n'aurais pas dit mieux !
Merci, je suis heureux de l'entendre.
you have my respect.. sir. nice to see your work..
Best soundtrack in a KZhead video ever. Subscribed. PS Great photography too.
Thank you
Beautiful quality work
I like doing wood work but there’s something really cool about metal work .wish I was better at it and love all the cnc stuff.
I'm totaly flabbergasted, from which plannet is this? that cant be from mother Earth. This precicion, this welding and how,.....man it is the best framework I have ever seen, jep and I am 70 and my live was motorbikes all the way! Mister KRT framwork I take my Hat of and make a big "salute". Thanks for the video.
Thank you for watching, and for the kind words. Greetings Marvin
Einfach herrlich! Sonntag Abend KRT Videos :-)
Also curious as to why the back purge on chromoly. Amazing work my friend, you are an inspiration! Glad I stumbled onto your channel.
Also, does the tape not leave a residue that you need to clean before every weld?
Beautiful work, pure art
Thank you
Wow that's a awesome build. Remembers me on a Egli Frame back in the days. :-)
It is a EGLI Replica ;)
Craftsmanship, Coordination, Precision, Patience, Focus and another level of Zen thru working meditation. That is finely done boarderline OCD actions by someone with skills that have been honed to pun point accuracy! Well done sir! With that kind of attention i would venture to guess, if you choose to apply such, your wife/partner is a very happy individual!!👍😉
Your work is very polite and pleasant to watch. You are using shield gas and the welding is beautiful. I strongly feel the commitment as a craftsman. Also looking forward to the video in the future.
Thanks
Very nice work! Your attention to detail and level of craftsmanship are outstanding!... But you knew that. :-)
Great job again and again !!!!! Thank you.
Thanks for watching :)
Very good work. I like to follow your videos. They have such a calming effect. Greetings from Germany
Danke dir, Grüße zurück ( ebenfalls aus Deutschland ) ;)
pure art ! love the lofi bgm :D
Richtiges Meisterwerk!!! Bitte mehr von solchen Videos. Grüße aus Versmold
Danke dir. Die nächsten Videos werden auch schon gedreht ;) Grüße aus Beelen
Top..Very good welds!
Always excellent-Thanks for sharing ✅👍
Thanks for Watching ;)
God, I want to learn how to weld like that.
Amazing this is way to nice to coat with paint. Nice stacked welds too!
it gets a thin layer of nickel at the end ;)
@@KRTframework glad to hear it will not be painted! No use in hiding things under a coat when it is that good to show!!!! Stupid question maybe, but will this be a road bike and how easy is to get a VIN and papers for the newly build frame?
Beautiful welding
Every cut, weld is so perfect like a masterpiece
Thanks
Waiting for that excellent job 👨 thanks 🙏 love 💕 it
Thanks for watching ✌️
Precision is a must.. Wow...
Thanks for Watching :)
Your work is my hobby and one day I want to be like you......
This is incredible content
Subbed. Knowledge is power.
Gran trabajo de chasis amigo
Nice work
Art and Perfection roled into one.
Thank you ✌️
Better than looking the beach.
The fact that you don't use a laser cutter is hella impressive.
Beau travail bravo 👍
I really appreciate how much thought went into your various fixtures. The fitment on your parts is amazing. Out of curiosity, what's your reasoning behind back purging? I've seen lots of roll cages built out of 4130 without back purging, but I'm sure you have a good reason and I'd love to hear it. Thanks.
Always loved the video!
Thank you ✌️
If I was going through this much trouble and precision, I would go ahead and seal it all up and pressureize it and use the frame for gas storage.
love your work, top man!
Thanks
Great work.................................... 👍
Thanks
Tolle Arbeit die du Du da machst gefällt mir sehr. 👍👍
Danke sehr
Nice frame
Good job
Awesome 👍
Annular cutters work a lot cleaner than the bi metal hole saws. They are pretty cheap on ebay. They are like a hollow end mill with a centering hole for a small drill and have 8 or more flutes. I run them at slow speeds, like below 100rpm. Nice back gassing. Great welding. I always learn a few new tricks watching these videos. That Millyard fellow has some nice videos.
Thank you, yes, annular cutters are better, I just currently have the problem that my lowest speed is 700 rpm, it works, but the tools do not like it.
Um Salve do Brasil !!
Excellent, as per.
Awesome!
purged steel yes please !! great job, never seen anybody purging their steel work, well done mate
I would not purge normal steel either, but with 25CrMo4 I do.
@@KRTframework ah so that's why the bead looks so shiny
you have a dream workshop mate
very nice !
that's art !
You sir are a Master Craftsman. You make Tig welding look so easy, almost like sewing fabric, when there is nothing easy about it. Can I ask what filler rod you are using for the CrMO? Is it brass/nickel? I agree with some others.....don't paint that frame. Clear coat it so that wonderful workmanship is always on display!
magnifique boulot
Good report
Clear coated raw would look terrific
There is nothing not to love about all your videos and the work that you put into creating some of the best metal work ive ever seen. May i ask to please give us a background of where you started of, a workshop tour and a bit if history about yourself. Yes it is all about the fabrication and bike build but just some info about yourself. It that is ok with u
I've been asked this several times, so I'll have to see how I can put it into a video so you can get more background info from me.
@@KRTframework awesome. Glad to hear that you had several request on the same topic. Looking forward to a release soon👍
Ein echtes Meisterwerk 👌👍
Danke
awesome !
I really admire your work, thanks for uploading, just one thing, can you put out more videos please.
I try, but it's also always a lot of work to shoot and edit the videos, if I can do it without degrading the quality of the work and the videos, more will come.
@@KRTframework Yeah I understand, I just really enjoy watching the quality of work you produce. 🤤
Outstanding work...🏁 May i ask what filler rod you are using on this work?
I would like to know what wall thickness and DIA of tubing you use.
This is like meditation watching this artistry
Thank you.
Satisfyingggg
I like how you do your work. Nice and clean, take time for preparation, cut and grind your tubes for perfect fit. But i have a question...why are you seeling the edges? 25CrMo4 is a carbonsteel not a stainless🤔 Do you use formation gas? Me myself don't use it with this steel and my workplace is KTM R&D. My daily job is to build Prototyp main and rear frames with the exact same steel. Most of the time I use my mag/mig welder with a G6 wire and C18 as my shielding gas. When i tig weld, i use the same rod, 99.9 argon but no formation gas for the inner tube. Buy the way, your work A+
I build custom bicycle frames. I work very early in the morning and as not to disturb the neighbors everything is done using hand tools.
