i hadn't played wot in like 3 years. my favorite strategy with my brothers was an artillery/ light tank/ tank destroyer combo. all soviet tanks, SU 85B, SU 5, and me in the A20. TD would follow me and make sure nothing would slow me down, Art would rain fire on anything large enough to pose a threat, and i'd use the A20 like a racecar. going 70Kmph straight into enemy territory was hilarious, especially since i got good enough at dodging that i could usually do 3 passes by their backline before someone turned my crew into silly putty. we usually only got a handful of people with our tricks, but it was always a blast being a racecar in a minefield, shells flying past me from both directions, tanks in front and behind being turned to ash.
