  • Are there any 96% barebones rgb hotswap with wireless/Bluetooth/type c wired keyboards under $100? I'd also like gasket mount too but I doubt that is under $100. Currently I'm using a keychron k4 v2 with durock dolphin switches, so in total it cost me about $200 to build and I don't have gasket for it. Because I prefer tight full size or 96% boards with silent switches I haven't seen any options available for less than $200. I'm also interested in a wireless/wired numpad that is hotswap and potentially barebones but at least under $30.

  • This board being $250 (albeit fully built) makes me feel better about spending $200 on the Keychron Q5 Pro bare bones. Q5 Pro is a solid board but like tops out at Keychron Pro quality, ya know? It definitely benefited from mods. But with that you get all the custom keyboards features you would want. This IQUNIX one seems way overpriced. Like you pointed out, there's multiple Keychron 96%-100% that are going to at least match this in quality and will always beat it in price. Which is kind of Keychron's business model I guess. But this one offers a particular aesthetic and sound and I am glad people are enjoying it!

  • Is there any good keyboard on sale for Black Friday you would recommend? I ordered a Logitech g413 se bc it’s browns and wired no fancy gemmicks like lcd or rbg colors. But I’m on a budget under 100 so idk if there’s anything better. It’s 60 shipped

  • Betty, which keyboard or keyboard kit is the most flexible? Like which keyboard can take any switch, most popular key layout, take the most different types of keycaps, etc. ?

    • I would say a budget keyboard, is the rk61 and it can fit those requirements, just make sure you buy the ANSI layout, not the ISO layout I have 😅

  • they should have used the Linear Kailh Black with a almost clear frame that way you could see the leds a little better and with the switch that way it would not sound as hollow and clacky that way it could be more of a creamy click-ish sound and if i had the keyboard i would cover the whole pcb in like 2 1/2 layer of tape that way we could rlly get that CREAMY THOCK that we all love and IQINIX LOWER THE PRICE PLSSSS

  • I have a strange request / Idea I feel like I watch majority of your videos maybe I missed it. I have a unique situation I am getting to enjoy keyboards and switches through fresh eyes. I have 4 friends that have no idea between any switch type. Just a quick glance looking around I don't see any good testers I could suggest then there is a nuisance between lubing a switch yourself changes the feel ect.. Maybe I am over thinking it.
