    • Heh, heh. Of course, the slave-owners and slave-traders in America's South were overwhelmingly _Christian._ They pointed to the Bible to justify slavery. And for a century after that, they pointed to the Bible to justify racial segregation, too. And they pointed to the Bible when trying to prevent women's suffrage. Even _today,_ the Bible Belt in America is full of people who point to the Bible to justify bigotry. And right-wing politicians _use_ that for their own political advantage. Just look at Texas and Florida, for example. Tell me, how about *one* piece of good evidence, specific enough and in enough detail that I can judge it for myself, that your god is real, rather than just imaginary? Just *one,* please. Why is *one* too much to ask? Alternately, I'd accept one piece of good evidence that _any_ of the magical/supernatural stories in the Bible actually happened. Your choice. And I will _give_ you a guy named Jesus who was crucified by the Romans. Again, why is *one* too much to ask? But it always is.

    • @@leroyjenkins3744 Scientists have extensively studied how RNA, DNA, cells, natural selection and degeneration work. If you have studied that for a long time, without prejudice, you will come to the conclusion that they are absolutely right. There is no proven science for evolution, despite the hundreds of stories on the subject. No idea why people think they know for sure that the theory of evolution is correct, it goes against all biologically established facts. Even math with probability shows that the spontaneous origin of life is impossible, very strange that evolutionists never deal with that, but why not? It really doesn't matter what Ken studied, he spells out in this movie exactly what science discovered a long time ago and yes, he's also a Christian, which is a big deal to many. Ken has discovered that science corresponds to the stories in the Bible and of course he can just tell, why not? Your statement that Ken understands nothing about science strikes me as very odd, because his story is precisely what science has really found and what Darwin couldn't have known in his day anyway, and he was honest enough to realize that he didn't know everything, he wrote that down too. It is wrong to think that untitled people should not be taken seriously, because scientists also have wrong ideas and it would be an insult to most people that they cannot think well. It is also not about what you want to think, because then a "made" truth arises, which is of no use to anyone. Scientists must be unbiased or they will not do science and what most people (scientists) say and think should never be confused with the truth. If a great many people claim something, but no one has studied it in depth themselves, their opinion is very likely to be wrong. Einstein discovered that space was expanding, while the rest of the scientists thought it was static. Einstein went along with this by adjusting his formula, and later said that this was his greatest blunder, right, believing that most scientists would be right, not so. Even what is taught in schools has sometimes turned out to be incorrect, I have found complete inaccuracies in materials knowledge, age determinations, evolution theory and major mistakes in history. This is still taught in schools, despite proven knowledge that it is false. Do you really believe that we are related to a banana? If so, it seems better to study biology. Do you really think there are different races of people, or are you just looking at the outside? If I have a big nose and small ears and red hair, am I also a different race? People are discriminated against on their appearance, so that's the big mistake.

It is located in the direction of the constellation Ursa Major, and it is estimated to be about 13.4 billion light-years away from us. This means that it took approximately 13.4 billion years for the light from GN-z11 to reach us here on Earth. That is much longer than the 6,000 years claimed by Ken Ham.

Other versions were told long before Judaism emerged. And, there is no scientific evidence of a global flood. 1. Sumerian Flood Myth (c. 4000 BCE) The gods decide to destroy all life on earth with a flood. The god Ea warns the hero of the story, Utnapishtim, and instructs him to build a boat and save himself, his family, and various animals. 2. Hindu Flood Myth (c. 2000 BCE) The god Vishnu takes the form of a giant fish and warns the sage Manu of a coming flood. Manu builds a boat and saves himself, his family, and various animals. 3. Ancient Egyptian Flood Myth (c. 3000 BCE - 332 BCE) The flood was caused by the tears of the goddess Isis. The flood was seen as a time of renewal and regeneration. 4. Ancient Greek Flood Myth (c. 1200 BCE) Zeus sends a flood to punish humanity for its wickedness. Deucalion and Pyrrha survive the flood by building a boat and floating on the water until it recedes. 5. Zoroastrian Flood Myth (c. 1500 BCE - 650 CE) The flood was sent by the god Ahura Mazda to cleanse the world of evil. A hero named Yima built a boat and saved himself, his family, and various animals. 6. Vedic Flood Myth (c. 1500 BCE - 500 BCE) The god Manu was warned by a fish of a coming flood. He built a boat and saved himself, his family, and various animals. 7. Chinese Flood Myth (c. 2000 BCE - 221 BCE) The flood was caused by a battle between the gods Gong Gong and Zhu Rong. The flood destroyed much of the earth, but a hero named Yu managed to control the waters and save humanity. 8. Mayan Flood Myth (c. 2500 BCE - 1500 CE) The gods destroy humanity with a flood and then recreate it with corn. 9. Norse Flood Myth (c. 700 CE - 1100 CE) The flood was caused by the blood of a giant named Ymir. The gods killed Ymir and used his body to create the world. 10. Jewish Flood Myth (c. 2000 BCE - present) God decides to destroy all life on earth with a flood. The patriarch Noah builds a boat and saves himself, his family, and various animals. 11. Babylonian Flood Myth (c. 1894 BCE - 539 BCE) The flood is similar to the Sumerian flood myth and tells the story of a hero named Gilgamesh who learns of a coming flood and builds a boat to save himself, his family, and various animals. 12. Assyrian Flood Myth (c. 2500 BCE - 612 BCE) The flood is similar to the Babylonian and Sumerian flood myths. 13. • It's amazing how you can so easily draw the wrong conclusion from the data. The most reliable conclusion from the data is that there WAS a global flood. The dating is completely unreliable and since (a) the genesis ark has been rebuilt and found virtually unsinkable and (b) the early chapters of genesis use non-pagan terminiology for the sun and moon it's highly probable they are the earliest accounts. Genesis 1-9 predates all the others. marine fossils on mountain tops, the earth being mostly sedimentary rock, billions of fossils buried in rock layers inc while giving birth etc supports a global flood and disproves long ages

  • I know most won't read this or respond and some will totally disagree because they want to and were told to. I agree with much of what he says and like the place much, but all will tell you that language is to communicate. Take the English language. Some words in England are different from American but have the same meaning. Lift = Elevator, bathroom, you get it. But all in all we can have deep, important conversations and understand one another. Take Chinese and in English ask them where the bathroom is or have a deep conversation, not happening. So we make our decisions ans they, make theirs along with their communist mentality which is recent, thus brings other issues to the fore like murdering and torturing priests and nuns only because they follow God/Jesus and love and forgive all. My thing is that when the Lord gives all these separate languages he solidified maybem and distrust and the like forever. They couldn't communicate with each other, thus they mistrusted one another, thus that mistrust along with sin already in the world, well you have mayhem. A case in point of mistrust and interpretation is this site (which i love) . This site and its "religion" is based on a person and persons (Luther and Calvin and others, like Henry the 8th) that felt they were Gods and were there own leaders and they lone know what the bible says, yet you can go to ten different protestant churches and the preachers will have ten different answers to your same question. Sone allow woman to be priests (not sure about protestant preachers) and the reason why that is a no-no is long, so look up Bishop Sheen for a great explanation. So you see the lack of communication (plus the fall) separates us, he_l, soccer/futbol separates the U.S. and Canada from all. I think if God didn't do the tower of babel (which i think He didn't) we all would be much, much closer as a people. Lastly, how can a Japanese person (only speaks Japanese) talk to a peraon from Finland that doesn't speak Japanese. God Bless brothers and sisters!✝️✝️✝️

  • If you start by defining the "truth" as the Bible as a preconception, it's not surprising that you'll argue that what is in the Bible is true; and that anything that contradicts it is false. It's a circular argument that is logical only if you start with the unproven preconception that what is in the Bible is true.

One has to be very careful, however, it doesn't cause one to treat God as if He were a science experiment to be studied under a microscope; or worse yet, cause one to study God right out of one's heart. • Thanks for sharing this list. An exam might also have a list of potential answers, however there is one correct answer. Let me ask: Do any of these other religions have an account of creation PLUS an entire history of the human race up to the formation of the organized religion itself and beyond? They call it Judaism only because there was a resurgence of belief amongst the Israelite tribe of Judah, one of the surviving 12 tribes of Jacob. The rest were mostly assimilated to other peoples during the Babylonian exile. When Israel was resettled, it was essentially just Judah left. Before that, they called them Israelites because God gave Jacob the name Israel. Jacob was one of two sons of Isaac, who was the son of Abraham and Sarah. There were many more before Abraham, too, which the Bible accounts for. There were multitudes of gods being worshiped in ancient "Bible" times as we call them. That's because the Bible is the most complete and accurate account we have of ancient history! So there's more than a few things that set Yahweh apart from the many you listed. There have always been many other 'gods' that are merely human creations, but this God is real and created all of us. The best part about this the God we worship is he doesn't exhibit human-like features. He doesn't stoop to our level, but he knows what is good for us and gives it freely! He only wishes us to acknowledge him as the creator and to live our best lives.

Second horse is red with great sword to take peace from the earth ( red Russia and Putin attacking Ukraine taking peace from the earth by war-sword). Third horse is black making great hunger or lack of food (ban on diesel and coal creating lack of distributed goods and energy supply). Fourth horse is pale( sick green) and brings death by sword, hunger, pestilence and wild animals ( Vatican antichrist fake sick green net zero carbon agenda using projects H.A.R.P. and Blue Beam to fool the nations by manipulation of weather from satellites in orbit - do your own research)

Sillyest of all is the 930 year old Adam after he sinned... and the talking snake.... really.... The majority of Christians accept Evolution and God... Assertions raging about Sin, Condemnation, Judgement and the exclusive way to the Afterlife are man made manifestations, not the message of a loving Divine Essence... rather sad, clinging onto a message that denys the heritage and evidence of your own birth place.

  • 7:02 "You can find documentation that they're all connected." Did he really define "kind" based on "documentation?" So I guess animals for which there is no "documentation" can't be said to be of the same kind. 7:16 "When we show they're all inter-connected like that," show based on what? Documentation? Historical knowledge of how dogs were bred? But you need a lot of large kinds of exist for your Ark story. And there wouldn't be any documentation or historical knowledge for those.

    @ConservativeMirror@ConservativeMirror Жыл бұрын
    • Incest is wrong because it causes undue suffering to the children. When that wasn’t the case, there was no suffering for the children. Beyond that, there wouldn’t have been any other human born after Abel’s generation if marrying in the family were outlawed. What makes incest disgusting to us and why that crawling feeling is written on our hearts - beyond the harm to the children in today’s age - is other sin that happens in the process. Rape, manipulation, drunkness (any kind of debilitating substance), and lust are the factors that drive incestuous relations outside of the situation and time of the Genesis account.
