Why Critical Race Theory Is WAY Worse Than You Think . . .

Critical race theory is a growing worldview that assumes society is made up of oppressors and oppressed (according to ethnicity). In this presentation, Bryan Osborne reveals why this idea is false, sinful, and dangerous to the church and our children.

  • If everyone in a culture is either oppressor or oppressed doesn't that make CRT's goal merely to change places? By definition you can't get to a neutral position.

    • It's the same mindset that Satan had which in turn resulted in him rebelling against God. To put it in today's terms, Satan "felt oppressed" and he wanted to (according to his own mind) knock God "off his high horse".

    • Edit: I see what you're saying now. I misread it earlier. Getting to a neutral position isn't the goal. The goal is to violently overthrow those who are evil. It's an ever changing environment that has no set foundation of any moral standards. Once the oppressed win they then become the oppressor and the cycle continues. Change to what though? CRT is extremely destructive in its very nature. It leaves nothing but rubble in its path all for the name of 'justice' which is twisted from the beginning.

  • I had a professor who actually quoted Marx in class and even attributed the quote to him. The quote itself was not expressly CRT or even Marxist but it WAS something Marx said and so I waited until everyone else had left to ask him about that because I didn’t want to make some sort of show about it. I asked him if he thought it was a good idea to give credence to a man whose ideas directly influenced the deaths of millions, and he tried to say that using a quote from him that was not related to communism wasn’t lending credence to those ideas, technically (paraphrased). 🙄

    • Most people think that Marx (Moses Mordecai Levy) was a penniless champion of the workers. Nothing could be farther from the truth. He was from a line of wealthy Rabbis (owned vineyards) and his Aunt was married to a Rothschild. Marx’ wife, Jenny Westphalen was from double royalty. She was a direct descendant from the Stuarts (crypto Jews) of Scotland and on the other side from Prussian Royalty. Marx was financed by his super wealthy Uncle Lyon Philips (Philips Corp.) all his life and was the front man whose job was to keep the Proletariat and Bourgeoisie divided and to sell communism (Zionism) to the masses, just as the elite (WEF, Trilaterals, CFR, Club of Rome) are pushing the “Great Reset” (Agenda 2030-21) today which is just a repackaging of the same thing.

  • I have extremely fair- skin. Most people would call me white. I agree that there is only one race. The human race. God has given me a heart of love and the ability to see another person for their heart not the color of their skin. I was raised from a very young age to always put myself in someone else's shoes. With all that said I find it an extreme oxymoron that most of the quote-unquote oppressed typically turn around to the quote-unquote oppressor and do the same thing to us that they are accusing us of doing to them. I am not racist I never have been and I never will be. Although there have been many times in my life that that very thing has been said to me. It usually happens when I do not agree with secular theology or in times when I am trying to defend the word of God. I find it ironic the majority of the time instead of being able to discuss the truth it ends up turning into a debate of whether I am racist or not. Unacceptable absolutely ridiculous but this is the world's way of twisting things trying to confuse others who may not have a solid foundation. And I just want to add for a little hope that many times it seems as though the world is winning but I promise you just hang in there. In the end God will prevail!

If no white, or majority of whites, don't see color, how is it then that their eyesight gets mysteriously and miraculously restored when they date or select their "other half". So far NOT ONE white closet racist could explain this strange phenomenon to me. Could you perhaps be so kind and help them out so that I can better understand this mysterious phenomenon where nobody sees color but somehow the vast majority of whites have no problem with eyesight when selecting a mate? Please please please help me out on this one⁉️⁉️⁉️ Besides, I hear soooo many blacks saying they don't believe it when whites say don't see color. Frankly, neither do I‼️ 😇😇😇

  • I find it interesting that at 1:01:11 where you show the Oppressor vs Oppressed lists, it shows everything except wealth or economic status. So if you're a dirt poor white and the other is a multimillionaire black, the white is still the Oppressor. I'd really like to know how that works in reality.

    @surrenderdaily333@surrenderdaily333 Жыл бұрын
    • Well if your skin color is the sole reason for oppression then why would it matter on which end of wealth you are? Being rich black person wont lighten up your skin and being white poor person wont darken your skin. So I guess the conclusion we all can draw from this, is that its rooted in which color is considered esthetically pleasing. That would mean CRT, in fact, does not consider all skin colors equally beautiful, as they claim. They consider a melanin-rich color skin not beautiful, and it can not stand on it's own. Otherwise, why would they require bleackenin or dirtying another color, so they could "for once" look good? Every skin color is uniquely beautiful and, every single person under that skin is equally sinful according to the Bible. And pointing fingers at someone else does not make you any more righteous. Not in God's eyes. And boy will some church leaders be shocked when they come face to face with God, and will have to answer for all the people they've steered off the path to salvation, and onto the highway straight to their doom. It's a dangerous ideology to be taught in churches!

  • Any critic here that claims this presentation is not factually correct hasn't read the authors he's referring to. I think the problem is when people don't open their mind to the way someone else might look at something. That goes both ways. The NEWS media claims CRT isn't taught in K-12. Technically that’s true but proponents of CRT that go beyond the theory have turned it into a worldview. That's what he's talking about. There’s nothing wrong with discussing CRT as an academic theory but putting it into practice is actually teaching racism as a worldview. One which is incompatible with following Christ. Galatians 3:28 says There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you are a Christian either believe that or you don't.

It unwittingly shows the truth: If you counter discrimination with more discrimination, it will create a continual cycle of flip-flopping discrimination. "Antiracism" will never reach equality because it straight up tells people that they NEED to discriminate against others! 1:02:22 What a great verse, I hadn't realized that the Bible said this! We often think of the sin of showing partiality to the rich, but this says that you shall also not be unjustly impartial to the poor. It is a sin to favor the rich, but it is also a sin to rule in favor of a poor man just because the other man has money to spare. It is a sin to steal from someone just because they are rich (ex: looting), and it is sin to take from someone (ex: demand reparations) just because they have more than you or more than you think they deserve.

  • 🌟 Embrace Balance and Compassion: A Reflection 🌟 In a world full of diverse perspectives, it's vital to remember the power of balance and compassion. Recently, I attended a sermon that reminded me of the concept of polarity, where views are often seen in binary terms. This approach can sometimes lead to the oversimplification of complex issues. The sermon focused on a specific ideology, a constructed Christian worldview, where anything falling outside these boundaries was labeled as "BAD," "WRONG," or "SINFUL." While I respect the teachings of Christianity, I believe it's essential to recognize that embracing this polarized perspective might hinder our ability to be objective and effective leaders. Growing up as a "Black" Christian, I faced certain limitations in my worldview. I realized that the divine within me knows no bounds and isn't contingent upon others viewing me as "bad," "wrong," or "sinful." This realization allowed me to transcend the confines of a polarizing worldview. To lead effectively and to foster unity, we should encourage free thinking and a balanced perception of ourselves, irrespective of our skin color or background. Moreover, it's crucial to be compassionate and acknowledge the experiences of others, even when their journeys differ from our own. The great leaders of history, the ones who have shaped our understanding of the human condition and the spiritual laws that govern our lives, have always exemplified this balanced and compassionate approach. They've inspired generations to explore the depths of their souls and embrace the interconnectedness of all beings, regardless of individual beliefs or backgrounds. Let's carry forward the legacy of these remarkable leaders and continue to expand our understanding of the diverse tapestry of human existence. 🌎💫 #Balance #Compassion #Unity #FreeThinking

  • Critical Race Theory (CRT) has several core principles or themes that have evolved over time. While not an exhaustive list, some of the main tenets include: 1. **Endemic Racism**: CRT asserts that racism is not an exception but an integral and enduring part of U.S. society. It's normal, not aberrational, and systemic, not just a result of individual biases. 2. **Challenge to Dominant Ideology**: CRT challenges traditional claims of neutrality, objectivity, colorblindness, and meritocracy in the law and society, viewing them as camouflages for the self-interest, power, and privilege of dominant groups. 3. **Intersectionality**: This concept, introduced by Kimberlé Crenshaw, emphasizes that people can be privileged in some ways and not in others. It explores how race intersects with other identities like gender, class, sexuality, and more, leading to complex experiences of discrimination or advantage. 4. **Voice-of-Color Thesis**: This emphasizes that people of color have unique voices and experiences that provide a necessary counter-narrative to dominant understandings of race and racism. Their lived experiences, stories, and narratives are central to understanding and analyzing racism. 5. **Interest Convergence**: Derrick Bell, one of CRT's founders, proposed this idea. It suggests that white elites will support racial justice only when it aligns with their interests. 6. **Critique of Liberalism**: CRT critiques some aspects of traditional civil rights discourse, particularly the ideas of incrementalism (slow, step-by-step progress) and the reliance on the judiciary as a means to achieve racial equality. 7. **Historical Context**: CRT often emphasizes the importance of examining the historical and social context of racial issues to understand present inequalities. 8. **Revisionist History**: CRT proponents often reinterpret U.S. civil rights history to emphasize the radical, transformative aspects over the more liberal, integrative aspects. It's worth noting that CRT is diverse and continues to evolve, so various scholars and proponents might emphasize different aspects or principles based on their research and perspectives.

The focus is not the satisfaction of having power and wealth and privilege but inflicting all the perceived injustices they suffered on the former oppressors. They shield themselves from any moral repercussions by proclaiming clean hands on their part and the notion that the former oppressors get what they deserve. The golden rule does not apply.

One thing that troubles me, however, is he makes several comments such as, "why would we have tenets of a pagan religion" in our churches? That is a correct statement. But any church or individual who observes/celebrates saturnalia (i.e., "christmas"), Ishtar (i.e., "easter"), halloween, etc. absolutely, positively are using pagan observances in their worship. Any church or individual who claims our Heavenly Father's instructions ("torah") were "done away with," is using tenets of pagan religions in their worship. Any church or individual replacing our Heavenly Father's Name (the "tetragrammaton"--YHWH) with "L-rd" or "LORD" or "GOD" is using tenets of pagan religions in their worship. (Hosea 2:16: “And it shall be, in that day,” declares יהוה, “that you call Me ‘My Husband,’ and no longer call Me ‘My Ba‛al ["L-rd"].’") Most study bibles will have an explanation in the Forward of why they REPLACED our Heavenly Father's Name with a title just under 7,000 times! • @@brandycandy9890 the point of the video is not to say that a person who has been wronged should not be repaid. The point is it's wrong to say that every person who has light brown skin is guilty of oppressing every person with dark brown skin. It is counterproductive to assume that a person's skin tone automatically makes them a victim or an oppressor. That is racism. Look up the genocide in Rwanda. Those were all people with dark brown skin who took the lives of other people with dark brown skin. If someone has wronged you it is fine to hire an attorney and take legal action against that individual, but it is not okay to make a general statement that all people with a particular skin tone should pay you for the wrongdoing of that one person. There are many people with light brown skin who were not even living in this country when slavery, segregation, etc. were in place. There were many such people whose ancestors were slaves themselves or who were discriminated against. Surely you can agree that it would be wrong to force them to repay the debts of people who actually enslaved their ancestors. Christ offers the best guidance on this matter. He taught that we should be willing to forgive and love those who have wronged us, pray for them to see the light, repent and do what's right then trust God to repay us in eternal dividends that cannot be stolen or corrupted regardless to their response.

Originating in the legal studies field in the 1970s and 1980s, CRT challenges traditional liberal claims to neutrality, objectivity, and colorblindness, and argues that racism is not an aberration but a normal and ingrained feature of American society. • We all came from the same people. The ancient Hebrews! This is the way I see it. And it makes sense if you think about it. At the Tower of Babyl after the language change people who could understand each other grouped together. Some of us went North, some went east and some went south and some stayed in the area! Nobody could go west because they ran into the Mediterranean Sea. We changed based on environment after that! The people with the family tendency for lighter skin that went south died out from skin disease from too much direct sunlight. So only very dark skinned people were left and became more prevalent. The people without the family tendency for the epicanthic fold or "double eyelids" that went east got more sand, dust in their eyes while crossing the Mongolian Desert heading east so they couldn't keep watch and got jumped by predators and died out. So only people with the "double eyelids" were left and it became more prevalent. The people with very dark skin also have dry skin that cracks and are open to infection that went north hit the colder dryer air and dryer air causes even more cracking so too much infection caused them to die out. So only lighter skinned people were left and it became more prevalent. Like I said, nobody could migrate west because they ran into the Mediterranean Sea. Of course there were the original people types that stayed in the area so there was no need for any changes. That was it in general right after the language change at the Tower of Babyl. So you ended up with Caucasians in Europe to the North, Asians in the Far East in Asia to the East and black people in africa in the south and the people who stayed in the area in the Middle East. After that people broke into smaller groups and went different directions and would sometimes run into each other so the other groups were made. Want to know what groups came together to make a particular people then just look at what groups are on either side of them or what groups are above and below them. Basically what more major groups surround them! Until more recently in history that's the way it worked. Honestly there are no "other races"! That would be like saying that you got a parent's green eyes and your sister got a parent's small ears and your brother got a parent's flat feet so your kids had green eyes and your sister's kids had small ears and your brother's kids had flat feet and after a while people started saying that your kids are one race and your sister's kids are another race and your brother's kids are a different race! That's nuts! No! Just different members of the same family with different family traits! This is the way it went and the way it is! Otherwise show us how in the world some of us came from one monkey and others came from another kind of monkey way later, but we still ended up so alike at this point!! Yes that's the direction new science is going if we aren't careful! What they are starting to release and say it's what the most definitive information and understanding says. Now they are heading in the direction of that all of us came from one kind of monkey with the "millions of years ago" stuff and then way later a different kind of monkey eventually became a different "race" and that race scientifically isn't even human!! Now they aren't just "subhuman" as though they were human, but far less evolved and advanced as the rest of us. Now it's that they aren't even in the human line of primates! That this "race" came from a totally different kind of monkey than the rest of us way later than the rest of us! Is THAT what you want to follow and believe!?! Seriously!?! Nope! We were all CREATED by The Lord as humanity and have just carried on different family traits that got more prevalent over time. So people on both sides needs to stop carrying on the negative racism stuff. We can address cultural differences and all decide to agree on how to behave to socialize with each other in peace and what is acceptable and what is not acceptable, but other than that get past it. Hope this helps. I love you all!

I have wondered if the Moabites are the people who eventually became islam. Because islam seems to be and act like the jealous brother to the Jews. Unfortunately those in islam are under powerful deception and manipulation from the enemy (satan and the fallen angels). I mean think people. Who have we long been told presents himself as an angel of light? satan! And what was it that appeared to muhammad to tell him he was the son of allah? An angel of light! It's not that hard to put together! None the less, you can trace the Hebrew people of the western end of the middle east or "Israel" all the way back to Adam and Eve unchanged. So they represent the example group. This also agrees with modern genetics. Even though science hates to put it all out together. Probably because it helps give more credit and accuracy to the Bible and they don't want that! Or the enemy has them manipulated and blinded into not even realizing that they are doing it. Yet, they have openly identified 3 base genetic groups. I hate what they named them but, it was before it was considered "offensive" and someone wanted to claim it "hurt their feelings" so they had something to complain about. Yet, the 3 base genetic groups are called Caucasoid, Mongoloid and Negroid. They keep as openly available, but separate information that they also found a "primary base genetic group" and so far obviously Caucasoid and Mongoloid have been identified as steming from that group and of course that group is the middle easterners of the general area of Israel, thus mostly the Hebrew people. I guess they are still working to confirm other connections. Now don't confuse Jewish people with Hebrew people. I don't mean Jewish people. I mean Hebrew people. Not all Hebrew people are Jewish and not all Jewish people are Hebrew. Hebrew were/are God's chosen people. Now though, any people who choose Him above all and truly believe are His chosen people now and continue the line. Truly believe that God is and Jesus is the Son of God and the Word of God therefore Jesus is God! Yet, Hebrew people are still included. In fact before long during the 7 years the two witnesses are going to be in Jerusalem ISRAEL and they will witness or essentially "evangelize" to the Jews and 144,000 of them will believe and get saved and be sealed and they will go out to "evangelize" the rest of the world and the antichrist won't be able to do anything to them and they won't be harmed by any of the disasters while they work. As I understand it, but I have a great deal more to pray and study and pray and study and so on. That role of the witnesses and the 144,000 is pretty clear though. Anyway it does get a little messy or blurred in the family lines or groups there in the middle east after the Tower. And I use Hebrew in place of semitic exactly because some people get offended at even using the word semitic. I don't want them to get offended and just shut down and not even consider any of the rest of the truth. On a base genetic scale they are pretty much the same as Hebrew or incredibly close anyway. So it would be more correct to say it as the Hebrews are like Adam and Eve rather than Adam and Eve were Hebrew. Not same religion, but same genetic people.

  • I argue that everyone is "a little racist," that is, human beings are reflexively suspicious and guarded around those who are markedly physically different. If a person in a wheelchair or with a white-tipped cane comes into a room, the able-bodied will become tense & anxious. This is also the unspoken premise of zombie movies (in "Night of the Living Dead," the hero is a black man) & any film featuring an invasion from outer space; suddenly, everyone joins together to fight the enemy.

  • If the Bible cannot tell us what it's like to be black in America, then I suppose that the Jewish people were not actually oppressed or mistreated by their captors, not even when they were slaves in Egypt, or when they were killed by their enemies. No, not true at all. The Bible tells us exactly what the oppressed have endured. Just consider Jesus. Those in power were constantly opposing him and making it difficult to get ahead, and often tried to kill him. He also deliberately endured the cross, for hours. People have tried to do the same and could not take it more than 6 minutes. He could have left the cross but chose to endure it, for us. If God is the ultimate white supremacist oppressor (which he is, according to CRT), then Jesus is the ultimate oppressed (which he was), then God is both the main oppressor and the one who is mainly oppressed by it. This is a total contradiction. And anything that contradicts itself cannot be true.

Sadly, it's the Church, we Christians, that have plodded along like, "Do dee do dee do! Uhh, which way'd he go?" We've either sat back and done nothing, helped usher it in, or downplayed it! This is angering, sad, and unacceptable! We're supposed to be the spearhead against these sorts of things, and stand forth against them, not embrace and welcome them! • The points made are excellent, and I’m in agreement with what was presented, but as a clarification, the concept of corporate repentance is Biblical, and one can find many examples of this in Scripture, where the present generation prays for forgiveness of not just their own sin, but the sin of their fathers. This principle is present in Jesus’ condemnation of the Pharisees of being guilty of the blood of Abel to Zechariah. The unbiblical part in not the corporate principle, which is present throughout Scripture, but the racial part of it.

  • Yes my pastor also doesn’t agree with blm. Imo all lives matter because God simply said so. No lives are above another. Like how if you had multiple children how could you love one over another child. Such is the way God is. He loves us all equally yet we all obviously are not equal in comparison towards skills or within different things such as thoughts strength in differing ways whether that b physically, mentally, or any other such ways. Like those who goes out there condemning others, they themselves seem to forget if you condemn another God shall do so unto ye as well. We know what is right and wrong, we teach it and proclaim THE TRUTH, which God speaks of and which IS Jesus Christ himself. All it takes thereafter is to believe, follow and have faith in him. Plus to also not be swayed by falsehood from and within the world. Others shall see and know you follow what is right and so you are then an example to follow and thus lead those who follow to Christ whom is the one they will finally realize is the one they should truly follow. This is how it is done. Just as how Christ himself showed anger at the temple so does God. Who will show and reveal his wrath jealousy anger and power when the time comes. That is what we should understand and thus follow through. Sorry bout this guys kinda went off on a tangent and was ranting. Simply put follow Christ correctly and don’t fall away from the path he’s revealed. Don’t use his name in vain for it will come back to bite you when judgment day comes.

How can you say that we shall be set free?” 34 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 35 Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. 37 I know that you are Abraham’s descendants. Yet you are looking for a way to kill me, because you have no room for my word. 38 I am telling you what I have seen in the Father’s presence, and you are doing what you have heard from your father.[b]” 39 “Abraham is our father,” they answered. “If you were Abraham’s children,” said Jesus, “then you would[c] do what Abraham did. 40 As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. 41 You are doing the works of your own father.” “We are not illegitimate children,” they protested. “The only Father we have is God himself.” 42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. 43 Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 46 Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? 47 Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.
