In celebration of the 45th anniversary of Ridley Scott’s 1979 sci-fi/horror masterpiece “Alien,” the film will return to theaters for a limited time on April 26, known worldwide as Alien Day. One of the most influential sci-fi/horror films of all time, “Alien,” which was released in June 1979 and won an Oscar® for best visual effects, stars Tom Skerritt, Sigourney Weaver, Veronica Cartwright, Harry Dean Stanton, John Hurt, Ian Holm, and Yaphet Kotto. It is the terrifying tale of a crew aboard a commercial spacecraft that lands on an alien planet to investigate a mysterious transmission of unknown origin and encounters the deadliest lifeform in the universe. “Alien” is directed by Ridley Scot, with a screenplay by Dan O’Bannon and a story by Ronald Shusett, and the producers are Gordon Carroll, David Giler, and Walter Hill.

Nothing beats the original. Not even Aliens, because that's an entirely different kind of movie.
True but Aliens is the perfect to Alien. And could’ve been the conclusion of Ellen Ripely’s journey. Alien Isolation is the game recaptures the terror and scary vibes of the original film, and it placed you in the shoes of Amanda Ripely. I highly recommend you play it if you haven’t.
But I love Aliens. That's my number one in the Alien franchise. 🙂🐵🍿

Sadly it's not going to happen. The fact that the majority of so called "fans" literally preferred an ooga booga monster and hated that the perfected xenomorph came from ultimately humans, shows just how braindead audiences are with filmmaking now.

My idea for an Alien5 movie is as follows: It takes place after alien4 and takes places on an earth in ruins. TheRipleyClone has transformed into an entity that is producing eggs,and a lot of humans are affected,and a war breaks out.They have to use a nuke on the swarms of xenomorphs and decidedes to travel to the planet where they think the xenomorphs orginate from.There they find there are multiple forms of xenomorphs.They manages to form a clone of a xenomorph that is able to communicate with the the help of a microship surgerized into its brain. After this a peace is established. But as allways Weyland-Yutani has spies that want the xenomorph for their biological weapon program. And it is a surprice who the spy is. And that Weyland-Yutami has a lab on a spacestation not far from the xenomorph planet. Where they finds forms of xenomorphs that noone has seen before. And that's makes a cliffhanger for a possible Alien6 movie ?

I fell in love with Prometheus
I have a feeling this is most likely gonna be another DVNR'd remaster similar to Disney's other theatrical re-releases of these old Fox movies.

You have failed. You did create Prometheus, to explain that the space jockeys created Aliens in their labs but they did escape and killed the crew. Then you did create Covenant, to explain how an android re-created the work of space jockey, by creating alien prototypes. But then ? Nothing….where is the third film ?
