#RolandGarros
All you had to do is have seen this match in person to realise how successful Rybakina would be! She has zero doubts on her game!
I love how she celebrates a win in her matches! Doesn't show it but probably bursting inside with happiness!
The first match ever I saw of Elena Rybakina and one on-run forehead cross court made me her fan
SURE
the last cross court forehead was epic
This is her greatest strength along with her serves.. she practically cannot do down the line forehand
Exactly so beautiful so effortless
Many players would have celebrated the win against Serena as if they have won the whole tournament. The world was introduced to Elena’s quintessential nonchalant no-celebration celebration 😂
A genuine thank you (merci) Roland Garros - as you have responded within weeks - for a little bit more than your previous offering of a 2-min highlights video and of course Eurosport had a 4-min video of this match. However, I still yearn for the FULL MATCH video. Thanking you (Te remercie) in anticipation May I also kindly draw your attention to ALL the FULL tennis matches in full HD of 2020 Olympics available on the Olympics website. Elena Rybakina shows what a talent she is at 21 years old.
Elena or any players win doesnt brcome less impressiv just bcoz serena is old. She choose to play. It was her choice. well earned win
This was still when Serena was considered one of the favorites to win a major.
Rybakina.. ❤.. i love her attitude
same here !
Elena is just amazing. ❤
Merci d'avoir posté ce match ! J'ignorais qu'elles s'étaient rencontrées... Bravo Rybakina.
Omg, is this a sign for extended highlights posting on KZhead from Roland Garros 😤
9:18 - That scream...
Can you please upload the full match? I am a big Rybakina fan ❤❤❤❤
Me too.. very natural .. no drama..
Well done Elena !
Thought this was finally the full match uploaded :(
Rybakina's celebration at the end is epic!
Rybakina is the only one in the current top 10 to defeat Serena.
Gran partido de Jelena, desde ahi la visualice como una gran top 5 o incluso numero 1
You can see that Rybakina improved her shot and service from this match
This was a great match, Elena played well and Serena tried her best despite being way below her best
So Serena could really wipe the floor with Rybakina at her best. Or ah ? Delusions.
The beauty against the beast
All of Serena’s losses at Roland Garros after her last championship (2015) were to future Grand Slam Champions.
I don’t remember this match 🙃 never even knew they played each other!
Beauty v beast
Williams was a granny by this time...she just didn't have it in her to compete with the youngsters. 💯
Wasn't this S Williams last Roland Garros? I don't remember her playing again after this....
Why did rybakina wave her hand @7:49? Did sareena challenge or something
Rybakina is a class act. And always love it when Serena gets her ass kicked!!!!
Another one of those matches where I was surprised she made it to the 4th round that year but she did. Rybakina was just too much that day.
I think this match must be the beginning of the end for Serena Williams she can't win GS title anymore 😅
I can't help but notice that Elena has lost a bit of muscle mass since Wimbledon 2022. I think that is contributing to her not winning another GS post that owing to fatigue.
She's now actually faster and and hitting harder than ever. Has a better net game, too. I think last years COVID at French open was something she never full recovered from until late into the year. She had won two titles (Indian Wells and Rome) and was the finalist in the AO and Miami - all in the first 5 months! It was sickness and shoulder injury.
@@jameslee1062i agree with you on those specs ! she's also already won two 500 titles this season and is in the Qatar semifinal
Rybakina hits like dynamite, the hardest hitter on the tour, bar none.
she made the AO final last year
Can’t help but agree with you on this one! Had posted the same on another matches that she played! That lack of muscle mass will be a great game changer over long matches at the Slams! How her coach doesn’t see it baffles me! Her physique of late is too skinny noticeable first in her thighs that really matter!! Being skinny up top is fine but she has to gain more muscle mass in her legs!! All the long rallies will take its toll plus she could be really exponent her power with more coming from the ground up!! The rest of the top ten are all well built in the legs department!! I would state the same for Emma Radacanu!! She would be a stronger player if she built up muscle mass as well!
What’s classic about this?
Rybakina's first big win. Not everything is about Serena.
Nothing
What's classic about this? A young, inexperienced Rybakina won in straight set on the slowest possible surface. If this was a fast surface, she would have crushed her. It would be interesting if 30yo Serena was playing current Rybakina which is a more complete player. All bets would be off.
Rybakina at 24 is easily the No. 1 for a long time at the Serena era. Serena would have 1/3 the GS she has now. Rybakina 30+
@@Mity_Mocrack is wack
@@jwashington4863 did you just call be a black drug dealer ?
@@Mity_Mo You must have been high when you wrote your comment. Maria Sharapova and so many other greats are better than Ry. Come on
Rybakina’s worst surface is on clay.
I also don't see Elena winning another slam soon...shes too passive for me
So ah, which wta ranked players will win all the slams going forward ? Or are you saying Sabalenka wins them all ?
Emotionally, sure. Tennis-wise, no way. She blows her opponents off the court all while making it look like nothing.
Her screaming was a bit ott
Thanks for uploading this great highlights RG! Always a joy to watch Serena losing, particularly when she is beaten by a young, aspiring and beautiful athlete! Even though Serena was old and washed up, this was still a worthy match to look back on. Please don't mind bitter race baiters and continue to upload matches that Serena lost as they are really interesting and give joy to tennis fans around the world. Thanks!
People like you amaze me. How can you have so much dislike or hate for someone you don't know personally, and she also doesn't know you exist. It's not healthy at all.
@@kofipokuantwi-boateng5446 Most fans don't like certain players and most fans don't know ANY of these players personally. I think Serena was a great player (OBVIOUSLY), but had a bad attitude when she lost and could be very egotistical. So, the dislike makes sense.
@@jameslee1062so then you don’t like any top professional tennis player…
@@kofipokuantwi-boateng5446she doesn’t even know about your existence
@user-ot5vq3xf5l Have I ever said she knew of my existence? These top players don't know anyone of us,that's why I get surprised when I see so many hurtful messages.
This isn’t a classic match. Williams was old and played poorly. A real classic would’ve been pavlyuchenkova vs krejcikova…
But honestly who cares about a pavlyuchenkova vs krejcikova? Even you spelled their names in small caps
pavlyuchenkova v Rybakina - tomorrow (16.02.2024, 14:00 GMT ST), Doha, Qatar WTA 1000.
LOOK at the strokes, not the age. Look at SW's reaction to them. Serena can see class and talent.
How is this a classic match?
a 1000kilogram serena will never ever win , unless her opponent defaulted.
This is not a classic match by any means I’m afraid.
It is to Rybakina fans.
What is a classic Serena match ? Her era was the worst wta players.
@@Mity_Mo You know that is not true.
The Roland Garros website willlllllll ONLY post Serena losses. And never full matches. The worse grand slam.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is how Sharapova COULD have played Serena...however, Serena after baby was slower and footwork wasn't there so that should be noted. Sharapova faced PEAK Serena and had a mental block against her.
She had no mental block. Serena is just a better player in all areas. Serena is old and severely out of shape here and this other girl had to play her Aplus game to win.
Sharapova was too young to beat peak Serena and by the time Sharapova matured she was way behind and figured out.
9:23 keep on screaming and running Serena 😂😂😂
YahhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaCOmeOnnn
This is boring match .. upload Rafa vs Federer 2006,2007,2011 ,Nadal vs Djokovic 2012,14 and Murray vs rafa 2011 ,2014 extended highlights and full matches soon
It’s kinda crazy how every time Roland Garros uploads a classic match it’s always Serena losing… This was a straight set match against a 39 year old mother, nothing is classic about this. Do better
Who casually happens to be the GOAT
are you implying the French are racist? You don't say!
They do have Maria and Serena's final up as well
also, Serena just couldn’t move and /re-set/ for shots, as at 2:00- , so this is kind of ridiculous …. you can’t describe a match of this kind, with two athletes being at completely different and opposing stages in their sporting lives, as being a ‘classic’.
Would you be saying the same had Serena won this match
Rybakina will be the best women's single player of all time.
Russian with passport of Kazakhstan
That's how she tricked her way into Wimbledon that year, smart girl 😂😂😂
Beauty comes from within not from a passport and talent is talent Russia didn't think she was worth investing in and she got little support from them if you know facts Their loss and Kazakhstans gain and all ours I'm Irish with a British passport big deal
This result honestly is a combination of good play from Rybakina and bad form from Serena. I would think even the Serena haters can admit that Serena really moved horribly here and was nowhere near her best. I think Serena’s strategy should have been to red line a little more. Patrick has made her game about working the points and getting in the rallies.. which is fine, when you can move! Had she played more aggressively, I think the match could’ve flipped!
She can't play more aggressively, she's too big.
When Serena was visibly injured… and movement impaired. Definitely not a classic match. Get a clue RG!
When Serena was visibly chubby... #fixed
Disgusting grunting era
Passed on to Sabalenka the distraction cheat queen.
@@Mity_Mo cheat? Your idol serena was often blame umpire and line judge
Serena do not move ! You could loose wheigt !!!!!🥵🥴😵🤤😃😄
beating this Serena is nothing to be happy about.
No excuses lost is lost. Even you 100 years player, there is a choose to quit from career. Lol.
Steroid brother williams ❤😂
No chit-chats and no smile at the net by Williams. Ohh, I forgot she lost. Isn't it so easy to be gracious at the net when you win?
A friendly reminder that Serena’s tennis is not as good as the American media would like to portray her.
that includes players like Lindsay Davenport, Monica Seles and Chris Evert who have said /since the late 2000s/ that Serena is unequivocally the greatest player ^ever. but let’s not listen to the players and take notice of Russian trolls.
She won 23 Majors & 2 Olympic Gold Medals. How much good do you want her to be?
@@nhonhuynh6984 Who did she play against ? The weakest women players of any era.
@@Mity_Mo she played in a long career with many strong competitors: from Stefi Graf, Jennifer Capriati, Lindsay Davenport, Justine Henin, Venus Williams, Maria Sharapova to the young era as Angelique Kerber, Naomi Osaka, Li Na...they are all Grand Slam winners and the era 2000s is one of the competitive era of tennis. And remind you that there is no one is as weak as you think, everyone has his own values. Do not try to underestimate anyone.
@@nhonhuynh6984 Serena’s tennis is one of the best, but as I said, her level has been hyped by American media and tennis commentators. I understand. Serena’s tennis rely on a lot on her serve and power. Skills wise a lot of women are at least comparable to her if not better on some area. Kudos to her for her long career and many (23 )slams. But in my humble opinions She is only one of the best, not the best, certainly not inflated as the best ever, men or woman. That was a such a joke. But some naive Americans dare to believe!!
Look at all the testosterone filled Rybakina fans in the comments section..
Mike Tyson's punch out. Bald Bull's bull charge.
What are you saying Panjeet??
