Some serious movie-marine action there. In the actual canon and tabletop, you most basic necron warrior is not only exactly as strong and lethal as a space marine, they're unkillable. Fastest way for space marines and sisters to end up completely dead is to face a couple of necrons.
@@Drew776655 Tabletop representation of power has nothing to do with actual lore power FYI. And Necrons are not unkillable. They die all the time and cannot be replenished. That's the main drawback of their entire race. They're crazy or dead, finite, and fight among each other.
They're obviously not unkillable but normal living metal is stronger than ceramite or really any other metal in the setting the only reason warriors go down more quickly is because as you can see they're very spindly the only way to kill the bigger constructs is to use very big anti-tank like las cannons or get the luckiest shot of your life on armor plating the necrons are by far the most powerful race in 40K@@wingledon2465
@@wingledon2465 You literally have no clue about the lore, lol. They literally do not EVER die. No matter how damaged they get, even down to complete atomization, if they can't self-repair on the spot they just phase out and get repaired in a tomb world forever and ever. Smurfs are hot garbage next to even the most basic necrons. A banana-boy might be able to hand to hand with a Lychguard, but he'd still lose pretty bad. Next time don't comment on something you're clueless about.
@@wingledon2465 they aren't "unkillable", but they are damn difficult to take out of commission permanently. They may be rendered incapacitated for one battle, but they can be repaired as long as they aren't blown to smithereens or completely vaporised. This is the scary thing about necrons: they keep coming back.

They move 8 inches in game too. Which is faster then a space marine which moves 6
To be fair, its a living machine and those shouldnt be possible either yet we dont really put much thought into it.

Salamanders are my favorite, they’re such nice guys compared to the rest of the space marines. It would be cool to see 1 Custodes destroy all these necrons without breaking a sweat.

Challenging Deathmarks with a bolt pistol and a chainsword at range is a bold prospect, to say the least.
Can you imagine the absolute existential horror those Kriegers must feel given their extreme cultural trauma about turning traitor? There's exceptionally little that can truly break a man of Krieg, but I'd imagine that'll do it.

The style of the animation has to be work of Syama Pedersen, better known as the creator of Astartes, it is a shame that we have to wait until he finishes his time working for GW

Both of these statements are completely wrong. Pariah Nexus was made by the same studio that produces GW's other 3D cinematics for new editions and such. Syama is working on his won project Yatra, and Morningstar isnt being made by him either, but the creator did list Pedersen as a big inspiration.

I like this. They made Necrons a force to be reckoned with. Also showing how much damage a space marine can take and think nothing of it.

@@Centurian128 Yeah, clearly not intentional though, please take medics 101 or something, these Guardsmen don't have mental implants in them like Space Marines do, they are mentally the weakest faction, the first to break morale, why do you think they need a Commissar? If the Emperor is of light, the Space Marine only needs to ask "What would the emperor do" instead of becoming his own judge (Dredd). And yes, the emperor would 100% grant him death, that's not even debatable.
A necron by the name of illuminor szeras is conducting a series of experimients to bring back the necrons supremacy. And one of those experiments is a fail one, that turn people into "zombies". Thats why they attack the Salamader. THey cant control their movements.

Imagine being on the frontlines day and night meeting the most horrific typse of scenarios, then all you know die around you as your trapped being the last man standing as you as well meet your doom, then out of nowhere large silhouettes appear as you here the sounds of gunfire dying enemies and slashes of blades. Your heart stops as that can mean only one thing, but then out of sheer luck your heart slowly starts pumping with releaf as you see a salamander coming to your aid. Must feel liek seeing literal god sent angels... i wish i could say the same for those who got to see Grey knights😂😂

They're just normal humans. Trained for war starting at a young age.
No, they´re "baseline" humans, the gene-seed of the SM is only compatible with male DNA, on a female it causes instant death. ( even on male Astartes "candidates", there´s a high percentage of "failure" with many aspirants dying or developing mutations.) But they´re trained from young age and also their faith in the "God-Emperor", which is basically a form of Warp power, gives them a boost. The fact, that they don´t have any of the genetic/ cybernetic enhancements of the Astartes and go out and kick the crap out of the enemies of the Imperium, makes them absolutely badass.
1 deathmark taking out an ultramarine sergeant is just not happening lol
1 deathmark is equipped with a weapon that entirely bypasses armour and melts synapses. it can pretty much kill whatever it needs to short of vehicles, things that dont have use a brain or having the shot intercepted by some form of shield
So, why doesn't anyone take cover? Why would a robot need a telescope on its weapon? I could go on. Brilliant animation, unimaginative details.
the necron sees through that telescope directly part of the thing of 40k is, by and large, protection outstripped ranged firepower, so like in medieval times melee combat becomes prevalent
These are the games we need but idk what it is are devs afraid of the brutality required to make it authentic? Is the graphical requirements of cities like this just too much? Idk but if we had a planet side 2 / OG Battlefront 2 styled Warhammer game with bots and 3 or more playable factions (just 2 realistically Ik)

Yes they can be destroyed if the damage is to high to repair Normaly they phase out and are fully rebuild in their tombs
They can teleport and be repaired. But there is Illuminor Szeras in charge, and he is too huge of a dick to restore them.
What happens is they can repair themselves but if you damage them greatly enough they will phase out of the battlefield. Such as power weapons plasma melta etc
As trazyn said, tho warriors matrices might be malfunctioning, and destroyers are denied reanimation trough translocation crypts cos their code could infect crypt systems
