    • @@Jagabot_Esq. This video wasn't edited much by Cesar Muroya, the editing was mostly done live by the director during the broadcast. This is filmed with multiple cameras, and the director chooses when to cut to each camera. There's got to be a lot of coordination as well when determining where each camera needs to go, as the cameras on the floor are likely moving around to get the perfect angle on each shot. So the "editing" is achieved by the incredible team who was filming this for live broadcast.

  • I remember this frame vividly, and it was such an important one in this match, the amazing red to get on the black, the near miss on the tricky black, then the tricky yellow to get on the green. Amazing pressure pots, and Ronnie winning this frame changed the whole momentum of the match. When Ronnie won this frame before he walks out, you see him grit his teeth. He knew how important that frame was and you see how much it meant to him.

But you see how much he enjoys working hard to be the best, and showing everybody how good he is. Snooker is like chess. It's a sport you can't cheat at. You either know your stuff or you don't. • Ronnie has been obviously the best player to have ever held a cue since he was 17, watching a kid destroy Hendry with Hendry in the best form of his career and setting records in the semi-final of the UK Championship it was clear that Ronnie had lifted the standard and was already in a class of his own. The fact that before the Worlds this year he was the only player to have hit 6 in all 3 triple crowns and is now also the first to hit 7 while in his era he has a player that hit 5 WCs(Hendry(out of his 7)), 4(Higgins), 3(Williams) and 4(Selby) who themselves represent 4 of the greatest 7(or 8 if you include Alex Higgins) champions in the history of the professional game puts these achievements into stark perspective.

    • Scarry thing is he could have won twice as many. For a while it looked like he might squander what he had. It was so frustrating watching, and you could see he was frustrated to. He was always the best and it's a privilege to watch him play and see him getting the silverware he deserves, guy's a different class...

    • Fraud, took him 30 years with more tournaments, some of Stephen Hendry records are untouchable! World champion at 21, 9 years world number 1, only player to make a 147 v Ronnie, only player to win all 3 TC titles twice in the same season, many more records, Stephen Hendry is the greatest and done it all in a decade, In fact Mark Selby and Judd Trump are better and years younger! Put Ronnie O'Sullivan only 5th best in history after Davis, Trump, Selby and Hendry!

    • @@lailarouass511 Ronnie O'Sulivan destroyed Hendry at his absolute prime at 17 years old to win the UK and become the youngest ranking tournament winner and the fact that even at this age where his coordination and muscle flexibility has deteriorated is still winning World championships(easily BTW, only lost 1 session in the whole tournament this year, the 3rd session in the final against Judd) is astonishing. You said it yourself, 9 years at no1 compared to 30 years at the top(how many of those at no 1 I wonder?). Stephen's main weapon is his bottle but the moment John Higgins and Ronnie O'Sulivan turned up his standard was surpassed because those 2 arrived without weaknesses in their game, Hendry's weakness you ask? He's weak in winning scrappy/tight frames, he was strong in breakbuilding, in the 90s he elevated that metric to a new high but Ronnie and John turned up and outscored him, out potted him, out safetyed him and won scrappy frames. But most of all is what Stephen himself said about Ronnie after losing matches to him: "If he does that he can not be beaten, there's nothing you can do about it". It's been known since Ronnie was 15 years old that whether he wins or not is down to him not his opponent. The only 2 players I've ever watched that can go toe to toe with Ronnie O'Sullivan are John Higgins and Judd Trump, and only Higgins has ever beaten Ronnie when Ronnie played well, once.
