  • Something that always made me sad about The "Banjo Player" at the sony's press conference was that that guy was actually Gustavo Santaolalla, the composer of the lasts of us' soundtrack, i know it was a weird way to start the conference and i know that a lot of people aren't expected to know who a composer is but that soundtrack is badass, and to know who he is and see him there preforming was awesome, and it's sad to see how many people didn't know and just thought he was some banjo guy.

    • Funny enough, it was not planned at all. Reggie, until this point, was playing the BADASS CEO character, trying his best to change the image of Nintendo as being square and outdated. Hence his open line, on his first presentation "My name is reggie, I'm about kicking ass, I'm about taking names, and we're about making games". On this presentation he dissed Microsoft and Playstation multiple times, name calling both. On the next year the "My Body is Ready" happened. Meme was so big, that Reggie decided to play now the goofy CEO card. Doing on purpose memes from time to time. What demonstrate his legit skills in getting in touch with feedback and public, something Nintendo is widely known for ignoring.
