Peppermint spray: I'm about to ruin this Arachnid's whole career
a safety tip: You can put the LED strip inside silicone tubing that is very clear and flexible. That will prevent the light strip from making direct contact with the cotton. Also LED produce no heat.
Yupp. They also make LED xmas lights!
Exactly im not sure how ppl manage to catch them on fire.
What about the Christmas lights?
And since they’re not hot they won’t make the poly fill toxic
not all led, some produce heat
Im a electrician. Where the main light is going to be covered. I would have taken down the main light and wired the Christmas lights into the main section and wired a driver into the light switch as well to run the LED strip. So when I leave the room and hit the switch its all off. Cool set up!
Ha. Was thinking the exact same thing as a fellow electrician.
The main light has its own switch. The man clearly knows what he wants.
@@SaigaGameClips same as a fellow plumber lol
Ummm okay, but your average person doesn’t know how to do that without electrocuting themselves so that’s really not helpful.
Some people's houses aren't too dusty, I have an old house wirh lots of animals so mine is very dusty
I love KZheadrs like you… gets straight to the point while being informational
Imagine having like a bright led light pointing down from the middle looking like heavenly light shining down

GOOD IDEAAA!!
I’m afraid god wouldn’t descend his light down for me
@@kay9111 wherever there is light there is shadows
Then, play the church choir "aaaaaaa" . The same sound when you open a case when it lit up from the inside. Like in the cartoon
A few pointers.. use double sided adhesive straps for the poster board, not gorilla tape. For the christmas lights, use LED christmas light's, not the incandescent type. Furthermore if you would like to build amazing lightshows, you could use programs like XLights, Vixen, or Lights-O-Rama to make LED sequences.

Every house in America is gonna have this.
Yesssir
Every house in America is gonna end up creating respiratory problems. (Polyfill decomposes with heat and emits hazardous gases of vinyl acetate & acetic acid.) 😳
And the rate of house fires could potentially rise. No doubt it looks nice though. I'm not trying to be a complete party pooper.
Not mines
@@gedionsamuel2256 just use cotton with an led light that poses really small risk of fire.
I’m not even worried about spiders, I’d be more concerned about the sheer amount of dust that poly-fil can hold
Must be wonderful to breathe in that room after a while. The clouds would be alive with all the dust gathering on them, and grow by themselves. Very immersive.
@@tkkologne4230 Ever since dust particles can move i guess. And it's not ceiling, it's that fluffy material that dust particles will stick onto. This is still super unique. I bet the different scenes are meant for things like this. Especially when you consider how well a custom starry ceiling works which ive seen in another video. Its hard to find unique videos like this.
I wasn't sure how it was going to look but it looks great! I'm doing this with my son and I think he'll like this one best
Just to let you know it attracts spiders and gathers a ton of dust
well done sir, great video, and amazing results. Just might do this for my daughters room
This is pretty awesome. My wife loves glowing things on the ceiling. We don't have a ceiling light in our bedroom and she would love this. I may try the "3M" sticky things for hanging because they have different weights. Plus find a way to incorporate stars, moons and planets.
Omg i wanna seeee if u made it, that’s so sweet to do for ur wife btw😍🥺
Make part of the ceiling cover with the clouds and the other free. Like the night sky before the storm. Good luck ^^ (cof cof your wife has a good taste for sure). U can also make the lamp looks like the moon and the clouds kinda covering it, that would be cool
It looks awesome, I want to do it, but my question please, did you use plane cotton or it's like cotton for construction? 🤔
I would not recommend 3M. From personal experience it’s way too strong. It will rip your paint off your wall when you try to remove it, even if you use a heat gun.
What a fantastic job! Tip: You can use LED fairy lights that don’t get hot (instead of the Christmas lights)
Last time I went shopping for Christmas lights they were mostly led.
That was my biggest concern tbh
Led lights don’t get hot so they should be okay. Christmas lights tend to be bigger then fairy lights which are sold all over Amazon
Yeah and combine with that fabric if they get hot enough it can start a fire
You saved me a comment, thanks!
OMG!! Love this so much ! Put this on my honey to do list immediately!
Love that look u did a great job thanks for sharing.

Pro Tip: that tape is going to be hell on the ceiling you should try command strips.
More of a pro tip. You’re probably going to paint before you move out anyways, which will fill the holes, just use a staple gun….
I’m going to use command strips it will be expensive but worth it my whole house has command strips.
@john curtin. thats what i was thinking, gorila tape does the job but it may lift cheap paint. Im using command strips hoping for a good result but my expectations are low 👍

Hi I'm just letting you know this project is a safety hazard. The LEDs can actually get hot. Stay safe and be careful! I don't reccomend this project at all. Also LEDS can cause heat, even ones that advertise "no heat" they CAN cause heat and fires. Many many people have had fires doing this project.

I was going to say "great video", but you're a Cleveland fan, so I dont know if I can take this seriously. Jokes aside, thanks for this. I saw something like it on social media and I really want to do this in my house, but it looked pretty involved. Your video makes it look (relatively) easy. I'm inspired, my friend. My next weekend project has just presented itself. Thanks Doc.

Looks awesome.
so we did this as kids in 70s in bedrooms with pillow stuffing and christmas lights and a black light that strobed. you can also play movies in the clouds with a projector we atched starwars every night in clouds. you can do this all on ground much easier then put whole thing up
Just to add to the immersion, use one of those sleep, meditating apps and run the thunder and rain selection and let it sync to the sound to really get the full effect... it's like VR without the heavy headgear.😜
This looks super cool, I am glad you had this video up, because I want to set up room like this as well
You should!
Looks hella dope! Next project.
I love this! I painted my walls blending paint from light to dark blues with white clouds. The ceiling is painted black blue to simulate space. I'm photo transferring galaxies and such on the ceiling I was trying to paint the clouds, but I'm loving what you're doing here. So, guess how I'm spending my afternoon today? I already have all of the stuff and I am So excited! I'm using the clouds to transition the ceiling in the sleep areas darkness to the sitting areas lightness. We have a very, very large man cave/bedroom. Adding the 3 D clouds is so awesome! I can't wait to get it done! Ok, concern for safety altered my designs. I've decided on a dedicated work of art... Made of aluminum foil with a little insulation before the foil as well as shiny asbestos fabric, cut in strips, dipped into liquid starch, shaped, frozen, then attach the frozen ridges like lightening bolts and glue/attach securely, the lights to the outside top of the ridges. Asbestos fabric, (ironing board cover silver fabric), Is something I just happen to have a whole bunch of right now... Dollar tree has foil... cheap foil is actually better for sculpting and shaping ... crunching... That's all part of the fun of it. Staples are silver, like the materials being used, so, I'm using my electric staple gun to install the lights, as well as cable clips... The clouds don't associate with the lights. I couldn't get comfortable with the idea of that. I also have yardage of a gorgeous metallic gold shiny, slightly stretchy, very sexy fabric I intend to cut thin strips of, starch, freeze, then install... Such a fun project!
That sounds amazing!
How did this turn out please share with me!
I wish I could see it I live the galaxy colors

Fairy lights are not safe. No light is safe. Please do not put polyfill on your ceiling. Even without lights polyfil is very very flammable. Having it cover the ceiling is very dangerous. Lights advertised as "no heat" are a lie and can still get hot. Stay safe

I would suggest using Command brand picture/poster strips. They work better than the tape and if you decide to take them down you have less of a chance of peeling your paint.
