This is not our conflict, and neither is Ukraine. We have a border to secure first and foremost. Whether we should support Israel (after stopping the invasion of our own country) depends on how that relationship benefits us, but that's a secondary issue, and it should come with conditions: 1. Some reasonable settlement with the Palestinians. 2. Their foreign lobbying group will no longer buy off our Congress. 3. We get full rights to use any technology developed in Israel, at a major discount to us! For example, Elbit surveillance systems must be deployed on our border, and water desalination for the Southwest. "You don't set yourself on fire to keep somebody else warm"

Iran has the international right to defend themselves whether you see them as good or bad, an attack an embassy is an attack on a country. Just look what recently happen with Mexico and Ecuador cutting diplomatic ties because Ecuador police raided the Mexican embassy.
