    • It's a shame he lacked wisdom in other areas: "Jobs resisted his doctors' recommendations for medical intervention for nine months,[165] in favor of alternative medicine. Other doctors agree that Jobs's diet was insufficient to address his disease. However, cancer researcher and alternative medicine critic David Gorski wrote that "it's impossible to know whether and by how much he might have decreased his chances of surviving his cancer through his flirtation with woo. My best guess was that Jobs probably only modestly decreased his chances of survival, if that."[166][167] Barrie R. Cassileth, the chief of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center's integrative medicine department,[168] on the other hand, said, "Jobs's faith in alternative medicine likely cost him his life ... He had the only kind of pancreatic cancer that is treatable and curable ... He essentially committed suicide".[169] According to biographer Walter Isaacson, "for nine months he refused to undergo surgery for his pancreatic cancer - a decision he later regretted as his health declined""

Unfortunately, as Richard Feynman, the great physicist said, " "For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." Thanks, Steve. • 40 now, and everything is paid for. Fortunately, I had a college economics teacher who taught me a lesson when I was 18 years old. That lesson was: you can't buy something else for every purchase you make. Having multiple sources of income is prudent, as is living within your means. I have a 13-year-old vehicle because it is all I need, I like it, and I can do whatever I want with it. My net worth is $4 million, and I can pay my bills without stress, but I don't live like I have that. I have no complaints.

By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. • Steve Jobs is really a marketing genius. He doesn't use any complicated words or deep words. Yet, his speech is so deep but yet understandable by everyone. To make difficult things simple, is the difficult part.

    • I was born and live in china, the intense culture conditioning brainwashed me to be the person what my parents wanted me to be, yet I felt deep inside I was caged with their expectation, from Steve’s speech, I found strength, I backpacked to many countries and tried so many different things (jobs and adventures), I finally realized life is a journey to discover your true nature, and be it, though it’s not really always rainbows and butterflies, yet in general I found Joy and Peace along the way. Thank you for asking, it reminded me how blessed I am to have this life.

  • Here's a man who found out what he wanted, and knew how to get it. Steve Jobs understood life. This is a true success story, to me. Even if people say he was a jerk, well, sometimes you have to be a dick to get what you want. If someone tells you that you can't achieve something, you give them a big "up yours" and do it. Never succumb to negativity.
