  • I'm not a Swiftie. I'm just an old guy who hears only about war and violence and anger and disagreement and pessimism and arguing and negativity and darkness on youtube or the evening news or during family gatherings or on bumper stickers. But then I watch this thankful, articulate, humble woman, speak of beauty and parents and friends and positivity and brightness and my heart fills with hope. Maybe I am a Swiftie. Thank you, Taylor, for being a tiny speck of light at the deep end of a dark tunnel.

Way too many decades have gone by since the Democrats were the party of JFK. To quote another great president of the postwar era, Ronald Regan, “I did not leave the Democratic Party. Fallen angels and the devil is not a myth. - there is no planets, there is only plane knows as EARTH. - there is no cosmos, there is HELL - EARTH - WATERS - THE KINGDOM OF GOD. - there is no evolution, there is the CREATIONS OF GOD. - there is no humans being only carnal being, there is HUMANS - being created after the image of GOD. (Human being = SPIRIT BEING). - the reality is not that live however you like, you still be in heaven. The reality is, COME TO REPENTANCE - BORN AGAIN, DO THE WILL OF GOD = THE NARROW ROAD TO HEAVEN. Matthew 7:21 The truth we don`t like: - we are sinners who are called to repentance and to born again, Luke 13:5 , John 3:7 - we are called back home with renewed minds and hearts, yet many shall reject the calling and perish into the torment. - we live under demonic power, the evil spirits in high places: Ephesians 6:12 - there is a risk to be a lukewarm and a cast away. Revelation 3:15 , Luke 9:25 - the final A.I shall be humans themselves, Spirits in-prisoned into the machine, wishing to die, yet no death for them. Revelation 9:6 - as time pass by, there be more and more betrayals, among families: ¤ son against his father, father against his son, ¤ daughter against her mother, mother against her daughter, ¤ mother in law against daughter in law …...

Thus, the people who wanted it the least are the people who think that being successful or achieving your dreams are effortless. Meaning, they don't want it enough to work hard on it. • Yeah, me too. I'm 65 and started checking her out to see what all the fuss was about! her music, videos, Concert Tours and commencement speech and interviews. I learned a lot from her NYU commencement speech, I wish I knew at her age and had to learn the hard way. I love her music and many songs are on my playlist, I love the way she performs on her tours and am especially impressed at how she surprises her audience/fans with surprise celebrities, with such grace! She has written her own music, which is fantastic! She has paved her own way and is fantastic for her younger fans! Now I see what all the excitement is about, and why there are so many Swifties, I am now one myself.🌹

    • Hello @leavega6874 from another Swiftie mother, I so resonated with your comment, Im a protective mom too, and a recently converted "Swiftie" after my daughter forced me to accompany her to the Eras Show movie (since her friends were busy and she had no company) and I couldnt be more comfortable of her choice to adulate Taylor since then! She is so elegant and totally bowled me over with her flowwy dresses and simple yet touching lyrics. And this speech - simply amazing.

  • Thinking about how I was at my lowest point when I discovered Taylor's music. Then everything worsened for both of us and she disappeared but that gave me enough time to get to know her as a person and, without hesitation I became a Swiftie 🥺 Now it's been almost seven years of following her and being inspired and admired by her talent and humanity. I have grown next to her, with her songs that I've intaken as lessons and catharsis and her brilliance and wisdom that make me feel more and more proud of her every day. Seeing how much she's been through and how she has successfully overcome all obstacles in her way is truly captivating and motivating 💗 Those who realize Taylor's impact and transcendency, acknowledge this is what she deserves: being recognized, honored, and celebrated for her art and legacy. She's so much more than another female singer: she's a poet, a creative unstoppable force, and a mastermind. She has the gift of transforming all kinds of experiences into magic, into something untouchable ✨ She's providing guidance and knowledge to everybody out there through her melodies and lyrics that have turned into anthems for so many, spreading messages that bring a renewed faith in love and art and show a slight spark of hope for our chaotic and insensitive world. And the most exciting thing is that the best of her is yet to come! She's paving her way, becoming an actual legend and it's such an honor to witness her rising to the sky 🤩 She's saved my life and taught me to trust myself and she's one of the brightest lights leading me to a better and healthier place 💞

  • I watched this speech of Taylor two years ago and rewatched it today. Man, she is really one great speaker aside that she is already known for as a great singer/songwriter and businesswoman. Her speech was so simple yet so natural, moving, inspiring, and realistic. It is just like she is talking to friends. 😊😊

  • I guarantee she sat on a couch or a bed and wrote that whole speech herself. She is an unbelievable person. After this 2023 tour, she will go down as one of the biggest ,here from Pittsburgh. I hope I get to see her someday

  • I would like to thank the singer, the songwriter and the composer Taylor Swift for making that speech. I realized that I needed to hear some specific sentences. She is so wise. I esteem and I appreciate the way she declared some statements. Thank you so much.

  • Five quotes that moved me forever from this speech: 1. Decide what is your to hold and let the rest go 2. Learn to live alongside cringe - no matter how hard you try to avoid being cringe, you will look back on your life and cringe retrospectively 3. I am a big advocate for not hiding your enthusiasm for things 4. The people who want the most are the people I hire to work for my company 5. As long as we are fortunate enough to be breathing - we will breathe in, breathe through, breathe deep, breathe out. I am a doctor now so I know how breathings works Love Taylor. ❤

  • Wow...Gifted public speaker. May have prepared the speech but she is not looking at anything and yet she talks without any pauses. She talks like a seasoned motivational speaker.

  • Tho I’ve not appreciated this young woman’s talents before, THIS is demonstrably excellent. With an acre of TheReddestLipstickEver, she navigates a LONG, uplifting talk (*seemingly without a glance at a teleprompter), delivered like the girl next door. I’m impressed.

  • I don't know how I'm only watching this now. This made me cry. I grew up with Taylor- I was 13 when "Tim McGraw" first hit the radio, and I've been a fan ever since. I didn't have the opportunity to go to college. Somehow this feels like she's up there on behalf of all of us who never got that opportunity.

  • I admire Taylor for being a performer that is not vulgar and not exposing too much of her body. That’s rare in today’s pop culture. Her talent is her heart and she most definitely has a good one. Congratulations Dr. Swift on this accomplishment.
