A documentary about the final chapter in a legendary career. This is the story of Kobe Bryant's Farewell.
We've all heard the legendary stories of Kobe. We've seen the glamourous championship victories and highlight plays. This isn't one of those. This is a story about what it means to rise to a challenge that should be the end and instead write your own conclusion. The entire world was telling him it was over...but the Mamba had other plans.
Special thank you to Christian Jessup for writing an entirely original soundtrack for this project. You can check out more of his work here:

    • That’s what my generation said about Michael Jordan. And I’m here to tell you, that two generations were so damn fortunate to be able to witness, two shooting guards, in back to back eras with the same instincts, mentalities, and desires to do nothing but win. We use to say there will never be another Michael Jordan. Well we were one ring off, and Kobe Bean Bryant was damn sure the closest thing we will ever see, and I’m saying it now and I don’t care who says what, in my eyes they were equals. Period. It’s been a year and I can’t watch highlights of him, or Gianna, or MJ for that matter and not start to tear up thinking about Kobe, GiGi and Vanessa and the other families that lost loved ones. I was just in Barnes & Nobles and went to buy his books and I couldn’t, I had to walk away....that’s what a winner and a legend and his daughter and her friends, gone too soon can do to a grown man

Think before you speak, the whole generation did not like Jordan, it's a shame the Jordan fans got to keep coming on Kobe stuff, even though you act like you're being respectful, but you're still throwing Jordan all up in Kobe, so go away troll, stay away from Kobe stuff.

    • @@hashmoncrief6965 Why do you sound so angry. Sure, MJ needed Pipen just like Kobe needed Pau. MJ & Kobe both had Phil to coach them and to help keep egos in check. Bottom line, basketball is a “TEAM” sport unlike boxing, tennis, or golf. No matter how great a player is, that player ALWAYS need a good supporting cast.

  • I love Kobe Bean Bryant #GirlDad thank you for sharing this documentary about the final chapter in a Legendary career. As we all know this wasn't the end of Kobe's career but the beginning of his career as a Father, Coach, Visionary Writers, Film Maker, and Oscar winner. Yes Kobe had a beautiful life and he loved every minute of it, he created his own studios, Granty Studio where he wrote stories for children about Basketball, where he created the Punies, Lily's Lemonade, all these animations stories were created to help children and help them to have a positive attitude about life and basketball in general. He even wrote the Punies which is an animation story about begin Bully, how to handle begin Bully. Kobe did a lot to help and inspire the next generation of Basketball players, he created the Gym called The Black Mamba and Mambacita gym to help underserved Boys and Girls. Kobe was very successful in everything that he sat out to do,. He was a successful Basketball Coach of a team called the Mamba's, a girl team that his 13yr old daughter Gianna played on. The team was called the Mamba's and was never defeated while Kobe was the Coach. His daughter Gianna, was called Mambacita and you put the names together you have Mamba and Mambacita title of the gym father and daughter, Coach and lead Player, Gianna. Kobe never forgot about the little man along the way, those who were Homeless in L.A. he was very passionate about that created a foundation to help the Homeless along with his wife Vanessa Bryant. Kobe was destined to do greater things than he did while playing Basketball. He will always be remembered and loved because he showed more compassion about his work ethics and his love for the game of basketball which was his first passion. He never failed to set an example for the next generation to follow, he paid the way, and loved children, and always gave more to help those in need, he always gave more of himself than anyone will ever know. We will always love him and be thankful for his Legacy.

I didn’t plan on it but I wanted to let my lil bro see him in person before he took his bow at the bittersweet but beautiful end in L.A. and we got pics and vids and also put our phones down to live in the moment. And I remember as we made our way to our seats from the top to the 11th row to the floor. And then saw the players warming up. Then I turned from 26 to a little kid as I said “ omg there he is there’s Kobe!!.. it’s Kobe!” Then years past he lives his live as we did ours. Then in late January of 2020 I get a text from my Lil bro with the news and he said his first thought was of this trip. I’m glad we got to see him my hero my idol. Thank you for taking the time to make a great video and pay respect to a legend that will NEVER die. • I still can't believe Kobe Bryant is gone man.... I loved Kobe as a basketball player. I admired him for the person he was off the court. I defended him till the deaths with friends who hated him. He wasn't perfect and held himself accountable. He overcame many obstacles. He inspired me. And does after he's gone. I'll never forget January 26, 2020 because I lost a huge part of what helped me grow into the man I am today. And then to find out his daughter was on board with him literally crushed my heart into pieces.... I know i never met Kobe or Gigi but being from Los Angeles and being a Lakers fan my whole life, Kobe played a HUGE role in My Life.... the Goods, the Bads, the Ugly times, ups/downs... etc. #MissYouKobeAndGigi 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
