Welcome to today's woodturning project! This time I made a donut, in combination with sticks and epoxy resin. It took quite a long time, especially when coloring the sticks. It paid off though, I'm pleased with how it turned out.

You’re good at making use of stuff filling space with the resin. In many woodturning vids folks just dump whatever it is inside without much thought. It makes a world of difference when you actually add arrangement to it. .. This makes me want a sausage bagel.

I have seen donuts done before but I think this is one of the best ones I have and I really like the jig you used to turn the back side of it vert well done 👍

Really nice design. Kaking a donut in the next few days so have been watching a lot of videos to decide the best method for mounting it when it's flipped round. Seen a lot of people making a jam chuck and then using a bit of hot glue on the backboard. Not sure about that as I'm concerned it'd mark the resin. Really like your idea screwing it inside the cross, best I've seen so far. Thanks

I recently completed a commissioned job of making a bunch of wooden donuts and bagels. Some of the donuts had sprinkles, as requested. There is no accounting for what people like and will pay money for. (The ones I made were intended to be part of a center piece for a dining table. Too fancy for me!)
