I believe it’s eluded to later on in the film. It was something they did (hence how his son was killed)
Probably due to the fact, H has his own organization and wanted to hit the truck first, but the other guys hit it first which led to Dougie dying. Hence his crew tried to search for other organizations to get the person who killed his son.
Someone help me, love this movie! Why was his crew robbing trucks while they thought he was in London. Also, new ID, credit report, references, autopsy report? Criminals can't do that.
they were planning to rob the truck(s) it was a longterm plan if you watch the movie he's casing a route the truck takes for chokepoints and egress when the shit happens where his kid dies.....What his crew didnt know was he wasnt on vacation or doing an overseas deal or in mourning.....he was Jason Stathamming his way to glorious revenge
He was "taking time off" but the crew were still working? Seeing as they were originally planning on hitting cash trucks, makes sense that they'd go back to that since they'd done a lot of recon on it already. And why couldn't criminals get new IDs, credit scores, etc.? He had the means and connections to get them and it would more likely be criminals that need those kinds of things.
In the movie it shows several times he had contacts with the feds, probably FBI
