    • Clarence might be able to lift more that way. He does Olympic lifting where sudden power generation from a very low position is important (clean portion). That stop at the bottom along may allow him to focus on a sudden push up with his probably disproportionately strong butt muscles allowing the bar to have enough speed to cross where he would have struggled if he had to stop it on the way down. Or maybe I am full of BS and he just likes doing the exercise to it's fullest.

The number of muscle groups involved is incredible: lats, rear delts, scapulae, biceps, forearms, even upper triceps and abs. @Biolo-G_KJ@Biolo-G_KJ4 жыл бұрын
    • @@Biolo-G_KJ No, none of your rules are correct and all comp have their own rule sets, so better to just use the Guinness world records rules which is what juji was attempting. The rules about legs is just no toes above hips(in the comp you showed he bends his legs slightly after take off then more later on which is why it didn't count because it was as if he jumped for momentum at the start). And you don't have to start 'full stretch' whatever that means, just full extension of elbows while not being supported in the beginning position. You can go back down a little, but it uses too much energy so is unrealistic to do so might as well just 'fail' and reattempt. Literally the only one you got right is that your chin has to be over the bar... www.worldpullup.org/wp-content/uploads/World_Pull-Up_Organization_Technical_and_Competition_Rules.pdf
