Badass moments/concepts: - Getting a cruiser to glass a big hole in the surface of the Ark to prompt Sentinels to tear the ship in two - EJECTING A PIECE OF A HALO RING to eliminate the enemy forces stationed upon it - Taking said Halo ring as a means of escape

    • It is, but in retrospect it does make sense. After all, this isn't a military AI. Its goal isn't to manage shipboard systems or to assist troups with all the profesionalism expected for someone in the military. This is an AI made to manage a research outpost. It also comes from what kind of person was used to first create the neural network the AI is based on. It is likely that the AI was created out of a civilian or a scientist, somebody who by definition will not have been trained to remain calm it situations of emergency, let alone living through a traumatic event. Its sure as hell not optimal but like with many things cutter isn't exactly free to pick and chose. They need an AI, and despite it being unfit for duty and traumatized, its the only one on this shiny rock.
