After watching a KZheadr that does power washing in the UK, I just kept thinking that those buildings could do with a good washing. 😂 Thanks for the tour. It was beautiful
Fr I wish they would do that , it would look so much better
Most of the colleges were cleaned in the 1960s. Until then the stonework was usually black from air polution, and there was more ivy.
I was lucky enough to be born in Oxford and have lived here all my life. All my family are from here as well
Ohhhh enjoyment by you guy
Thank you so much.....
The achool is amazing and thanks for sharing. I love harry potter.

Thank you so much sir 💐
What's beautiful university, amazing..
I live here in Oxford....all city is amazing....I love Oxford so much❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Splendid video, Chris. Lucky you to be in Britain, and touring Oxford. IF I am not mistaken, the quad was used in Chariots Of Fire where Ben Cross and other students ran the race around perimeter of the quad. Enjoy the rest of your tour, looking forward to seeing the other videos of Britain.
Hii
Hi
No! Chariots of Fire is partly set at the University of CAMBRIDGE, mostly Caius College. The ‘perimeter’ running scene is supposed to be in the court of Trinity College, Cambridge (Oxford has ‘quads’, Cambridge has ‘courts’). However, the perimeter race we see in the film was shot at Eton College (the famous boys school) near Windsor, standing in for Trinity.
I have a my fand
Went here in dec 23 and was amazing truely is a magical building
Ironic that you say that, isn’t it?
Какая древность, какая старина! Хочется прикоснуться к этим стенам, которые много видели и слышали... Вызывает чувство благоговения!

Hey Chris I LOVE all your videos but one thing for thing video could you turn on your close captions because I'm hard of hearing and CC's helps me understand what people are talking about in all videos. Thanks and keep up the great work.. I wish you did a Doctor Who video since your over there in England!

Thank you ...💯
beautiful campus❤
I know you did with some of the things you were recording but I wish you would have explained a little more of some of the things you were pointing out. The courtyard, the two places on the floor you were pointing to, etc.
Same here, I wanted to know more about what he was pointing out and what he was saying wow about.
Hi! Current student of Oxford here, i go to this college. From about 4:40 onwards, he’s in the Cathedral. This is a part of the college but also serves as the cathedral for the city of Oxford as a whole. This is why it’s got painted ceilings and stained glass windows. The slabs on the floor he points out are memorial stones/graves of important members of the church. This is the same for the plaques on the wall next to the courtyard. The covered area of the courtyard is called Cloisters and connects the cathedral to the offices/living quarters of church members (not university students!). The grassy area of the courtyard connects the main Hall to the entrance we see at the beginning of the video. As far as I’m aware it’s not used for anything, but serves as a very nice and quiet place to sit which blocks out the sound of the city surrounding the college :)

That's Amazing.Tell me bro about the admission procedure how I get admission in Oxford.
This is my dream school!
It’s lovely to be able to see these things from the comfort of one’s own home. The internet is the best thing since sliced bread. Actually, a lot better than that.
another great video Sir.... thank you yet again for all your footwork you put in to bring your subscribers site around the world.. I seen something interesting at 4:47.. lots of cobweb's....? that have been their a long time.. one would think a structure that magnificent those would be cleaned.. I know it's a task taking care of something that size.. however, the value of said structure, and income they get .. would be more than enough 2 pay for regular clean up..and maintenance... I kinda feel uncomfortable mentioning it...and say this will full respect 2 that beautiful structure... But maybe the cobweb's are a reflection of why the inside courtyard walk around roof was never finished..the footing stones are their but no roof..... Cool video...
Beautiful ❤
Thanks.
This is simply a castle full of artistic atmosphere.
I am speaking from Bangladesh. One of my favorite university. 🇧🇩
One of my goal ❤
Very beautiful and astonishing. I wonder if Oxford is haunted 🤔 not like scary haunted but just spirits of those from long ago
Thanks for a great video, Chris! Through Texas State University, I attended a graduate program (political history) in Christ Church College. I dressed up really well, and attended Apollo Masonic Lodge (Oscar Wilde was initiated there). As Christ Church is actually the cathedral for the diocese of Oxford, we often had the Bishop of Oxford presiding on Sundays. We had some awesome toga parties in college, and I always wore my cowboy boots. May I ask what your educational background is? Did you attend college?
Thanks for agreat video ❤
Thanks♡♡♡♡
I would legit cry everyday from happiness if I went here
Alice was based on Alice Liddell, daughter of a different dean of Christ Church, Henry George Liddell
