Naito was outmatched in this fight. Nevertheless he got guts attempting to come back. I respect all the fighters in this roster.
I don’t believe he was out-right out-matched. That fact that he was able to stand his ground and catch kicks + return combos on multiple occasions proves that he was worthy and very capable IMO. If he wasn’t worthy of Haggerty it would’ve been a flat out KO on RD1 but it wasn’t

Don't really understand why a fighter should be allowed to wear mma shorts to a Muay Thai fight. Last time I checked, Muay Thai was about tradition and respect. Perhaps One should consider that.
I think very few people care what shorts they are wearing. If you want traditional muay thai got to the rajadam stadium? Next you'll be asking for the traditional music and pre fight wai kru? Personally, I think one gets it just right in the format!
@@leema89 People may not care about little details like that, but they still matter as part of the same tradition that allows us, to this day, to enjoi Muay Thai fights and be passionate about it. The Ram Muay idea is actually not bad and I for one would welcome it. It would be a meaningful gesture of respect from an organization such as One Championship and, all things considered, since they are making tons of money out of it, they might as well make a little effort to help preserve the legacy.
