  • This car needs a better battery , speed of 70miles, windows , music system and a car rack and this will be perfect

    • Sound system is available for it. You can tun it up to 70 mph but your battery will suffer more unfortunately. And you can get the cargo version with a 180 L trunk. The only downside is the bettery tho but you can build a bigger one yourself. :)

    • @@Meisenshi yeah thats probably the worst idea ever. It couldnt have been so hard to design the twizy to have actual windows. Not even talking about how the plastic windows let water rain in and how inconvinient it is to put them on and off.

  • I've had a twizy for a week now and I've had some nice cars. None have been as unanimously loved as the Twizy, everywhere you go people are super interested and really positive about it. Seriously, don't get it if you don't want any attention, people want to talk about this if they see you driving it.

    • @@genericname1235 no, buy an electric motorbike instead like tge silence s01 maybe. 7/11kw removable battery, up to 120km range max 62mph and could charge for free from solar panels in series or any household socket. Thats what im looking at....cars are way off ready yet, they still cant decide what plug to use .

  • This was quite similar to the one where Clarkson tested the Peel P50, great video! And Tweezy is kinda' the Peel P50 of the future, but with no noise and smoke, and a seat more. Fun little gadget for the city :)

  • Rear wheel drive and with a Renaultsport honed chassis. Great fun. I drove one of the base model ones, with no doors, about 35 miles down a dual carriageway a few years back and it was hilarious. I thought people would hate me for doing 40 but the reaction was brilliant. Not so good when I had to do an impromptu charge at a petrol station though and the Twizy pulled too much current and crashed their cash tills. Oops

  • From what I saw in France, that car is mostly used by companies in large industrial plants, campus, things like that. It's pretty useful when you want to travel on short distance with some space to put a bit of material.

  • This guy is as silly as a box of frogs but he just shows how much fun this quadracycle can be. It is for use on short journeys but can go further as you can get an adapter to charge on type two chargers. It is a very cost effective vehicle if you do not regularly travel long distances and is easy and fairly quick to charge up. It is basically a four wheeled motorcycle under cover. The real everyday electric cars are Tesla, Leaf, Zoe, VW E golf Ioniq, BMW i3 etc. And you can get a version of Twizy that is a one seater with a storage area at the back, so perfect for going to work and back, shopping etc. Well presented. Great sense of humour as well.
