There’s actually one more RvB Easter Egg in Infinite, the description for the “Stuck” emblem says “Is it a spider?”, referencing the scene where Donut got stuck with a Plasma Grenade and mistook it for a spider.
Also there is an Achievement called bring sheila home!
And it has Sharkface’s flaming fist emblem as well

This might be a glitch, but sometimes when you start a halo match in infinite, your character starts backwards, which might be a reference to caboose facing the wrong direction

I saw in season two that when someone stood backwards, a new animation played where he spins around. Might actually be a reference now lol

Theres another achievement in Halo Infinite that says “Bring Shiela home safely” where you have to get a scorpion somewhere without it blowing up
Even more hilarious is 343 spelled her name wrong.
Echo 216 says her name is Sheila when he drops a scorpion for you
There's also an achievement called "Six Pedals, Four Directions" In Halo 2 if you drive a scorpion as the Arbiter, referencing Caboose's comment "Why are there six pedals if there are only four directions?" when he first drives Sheila.
In Halo Infinite, one of the loading screen tips is labeled as “Do you ever wonder why we’re here?” or something along those lines. It talks about how the colors red and blue signify which players are on the enemy team or are your teammates.
That reminds me, am I the only one disappointed that the Marines at the FOBs never do the bit?
The most surprising thing is that for the Halo 3 Crows Nest easter egg on Heroic is that Grif was apparently paying attention at the staff meeting.

There's also the achievement in Halo Reach MCC "How did I loose all my fingers" (beat the par score on The Package) which is a reference to the episode when Caboose entered the Reach Campaign (Season 9 Episode 4.5 - What I did on my summer vacation)
The Achievement called “why are there 6 pedals and four directions?” is a Halo 2 achievement on MCC, board a Scorpion as the Arbiter and you’ll get the achievement

I've always wanted to imagine the thirteen seasons of Red vs. Blue exist within the Halo universe. Spartan Ops' cameos of the Sim Troopers, Vic, and Agent Georgia makes me so happy. In some silly version of the Halo canon, they ARE canon, and aboard the Infinity.
AGREED!!! Halo & RvB (at least the Pre-Season 15 era) should remain canon.
Season 13 actually debunked the theory that RVB was canon. It doesn't make sense for the Covenant's weapons to look exactly like what the weapons of another a more ancient civilization.

@@shaunjimbangan1166 the covenant more or less steals the designs for most of their gear anyways through reverse engineering forerunner weaponry. One of the only things I can think of that they made themselves was mendicant bias which was more or less made the same way we're making modern AI.
My theory is that the RvB verse is an alternate Halo Universe where the Flood never got involved, and the covenant was ran by the Sangheli instead of the prophets.
343 BETTER make a Church voiced A.I. named Alpha for Halo Infinite, it would fit so well and would give the best addition to the customization

I also love how Geoff and Jack from Achievement Hunter got minor roles in RDR2 as train station desk people. (Idk the name of the job title in English) you can very clearly hear who it is as well :P
I know Jack voices the Valintine hotel owner. I have yet to run across Geoff's dialog.
@@loonylenny oh yeah sorry, Jack is in the hotel in Valentine, and Geoff is in train stations. I’ve definitely met him in the Valentine one but you might hear him in different ones across the map.

Presumably any interaction between Tucker and Palmer would have resulted in a resoundingly loud M6H gunshot. Palmer doesnt fuck around.
Halo 5 did have a reference to rvb, it was a dialogue from one of the Soldiers in Warzone: “You drive like a drunk Puma”
The Grifball stuff is almost spot on... Though the name "Halo Rugby" was never a thing that was mentioned. Due to the old skit the video mentions where Sarge says "it's the greatest game since Grifball" Bernie was always working on a Grifball game and the advent of Forge finally allowed him to make something that would live up to the name. I and several other people close to the makers of RvB (I've been friends with Nico of the band Trocadero who made much of the memorable music for RvB) spent hours in Halo 3 custom games helping Bernie polish the rules and weapon choices (the game came very close to being Shotgun/Sword instead of the now classic Hammer/Sword). I helped redesign the first arena (and the second, and third). And eventually became the first commissioner of the Rooster Teeth American Grifball League of America.
It's a shame that they've changed the mechanics of the Gravity Hammer. I'm not sure if they can make a Grifball mode in Infinite unless they give the Hammers special physics just for that gamemode. Was always one of my favorite modes. I was also a few days too late to get an actual plush Grifball when I finally had money to buy one. One of my only regrets regarding merch.

Spartan Ops would’ve been a lot more iconic if Fireteam Crimson was the Reds and blues. Never even new about the Halo 4 RvB dialogue, so this was a fun surprise that makes Spartan ops more funny, even if Palmer isn’t written to actually respond to their antics.
Wish we had a special Spartan Ops skull where it did that.
I think I prefer Crimson as hyper-lethally capable S-IVs, honestly.
@@KillerOrca perhaps You have a point, unfortunately I doubt we’ll see anymore from Crimson and majestic anytime soon. But there is hope that in Halo Infinite we can have a side story involving our Multiplayer Spartan that takes place across each BP season in the Academy.

Its not. Those are there as easter eggs, nothing more. RvB MAY be canon as a show in the actual Halo universe (same as how Grifball is apparently a sport people at, say, CAMS play)...but its not even remotely connected to the universe itself.
I noticed the "lightish red" AI colour in infinite immediately and was glad to see the classic references are still around. Then i thought about just how bad the series got and that was a bummer lmao
The Halo fandom in general seems pretty oblivious to how bad the show has gotten.

There is actually Red vs Blue references in Halo 5. A lot of the HCS weapon skins have little references. Such as “next best thing to getting a pony” on the blue weapon skins. And “Let's all take dying as an open action item.” as the description on the red weapons.

Might be a reference to Blood Gulch itself, not RvB. The map existed long before the machinima.

The fact that there's no RVB in halo 5 just proves that the game director had no business with the franchise.
There is though. Several weapon skins feature references. The fact there's no voice work was on RTs side more than 343. That was during the...awkward period of RTs life. Presumably any connection between them was swallowed up in the weirdness/spent to get GenLock going.

The skull line the marines say comes from the scene where church is a ghost and explains a story where he was on a planet doing patrol with a guy named Jerry, and texas kills him with his own skull.
Glad there is finally at least some explanation for what happened to Agent Georgia, even if it's an easter egg from outside the show.
