Linda Clemons from Indianapolis, Indiana, is the CEO of Sisterpreneur® Inc., an award-winning body language and nonverbal communication expert with over four decades of experience coaching female entrepreneurs, professionals, celebrities, and politicians. Her international coaching and speaking career have seen her uplift thousands of women while sharing a stage with the likes of President Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Steve Wozniak, and Dr. Condoleezza Rice.
As a corporate trainer, Linda has often focused on sales and leadership. Yet she found many of the powerful women in these roles coming to her over and over for advice on dating and relationships. • Sometimes we do things out of habit.. For eg. I used to put my hand on my hip and got called out on it by a preacher talking about paradigm change. He did not know me and I wanted to flip him off, however it was a habit from carrying babies on my hips. Took me a long time to change that and I also rock forward and back or sway from side to side.. I still do it and find it comforting like nurturing the little child in all of us. Blissings to all from Alberta Canada muahhh 💜🙏💜😘

At 69-1/2 years old, I knew what you both were talking about growing up. ) and informative. For not knowing how to properly "read" people, especially of different ethnicities, I have been taken advantage of. You both have very good "chemistry" together; almost like BFF's would have. I hope you both do more podcasts together. Thank you again! Much ❤ and Light to both of you and your families! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💐

Not exactly words but sounds that a person expresses subconsciously during or at the end of a phone call. ( a quite sigh , a huff) Such as a disapproval or a disappointment or a rejection that the person may not be aware of themselves.

  • I have six children. Most homeschooled. We live in a rural area but I had them go to kindergarten to make friends, who then seemed to spend every Friday to Monday at our place. There was and is a two hour a week screen time each in total, this included time on a game. No exceptions. No tv in the house but lots of books. They and their friends had to interact indoors and outside on our acerage and lake, even if it was raining. Always a lot of kids around, which is why Friday is baking day! Recently two that had graduated high school and were heading to university told me that the happiest days of their childhoods had been at our place. All are socially adapt, with some personalities being quieter than others which is totally fine as I think diversity is great! So yes, I agree with your generalization about the more recent generations, but wow, how the exceptions seem to excel!

  • This one with the words are 7% of communication reminded me of Marina Abramovic, the artist, and her performance, sitting still on a chair and the participants having to sit quietly on a chair in front of her. No words, just looking into each other's eyes. And communicating.
