Love the shift in height when Tom begins pushing back on his demons, the height difference began to level out when he was venting in the shower scene. Very cinematic video.. Nova is a Goddess of the Edit while Tom is a God in Lyrics. Compliment each other so dam much and perfectly.

What I see in this video is to believe in yourself and don't allow self doubt hold you back.
As to "Beard's" comment about the inner battle - it's VERY relateable. Most of us have "discussions with folks who aren't there" and never want to talk about it - but we all do it. I struggled with alcohol when I was younger, and later I used it (my struggle) to mentor others of "hey, I had this issue this too" to help them navigate their way out of the mine field. And what "Brains" said about how our insecurities are what drive us. That "it's necessary" to drive us. Many friends I had went into Tier 1 schools & the Ivy League - whereas I joined the military for college money - then the war started and I'm like "I'll stay until it's over" (and .... sigh, 20 years later) So now I'm a 51 year old 2L student in law school. I conquered my demons and am using my "insecurities" to say "I can do this too" - and I am LOVING law school. 22-25 year kids are ... a challenge, but had those in my former career too. This video he did really spoke to me - great commentary by you two! Keep up doing the reaction vids!!!

I like the line "I'm the best rapper ever, I don't wanna be Great, if they're the best then I'm better, don't you make no mistake!" to me that line says that he is good with himself as well as it's a call out to all those that claim to be the best saying that he is better... The point you made about being authentic, I don't really consider myself a rap / hip-hop fan and yet because of his music I have found myself waiting for the next release and have also been checking out some of the people that he Co-sings with... I feel that he is good for the genre.
This is along the same lines as nf intro 3. They are both deep internal fights put in musical form. Both gave me goosebumps

Wow, you are so right. The first time I saw this video, I cried because I related to the internal battle so much. But I didn't notice that he was saying you had to embrace your demons until you just said it. I think that's why the last chorus has the shadow and his main self fading in and out while singing. Its like saying, they reached a compromise. My husband was telling me that Carl Jung said you have to go to the negotiation table with your shadows and find a way to live together and integrate them--that our shadows are actually parts of ourselves that we broke off because we were scared of them. So when the two parts are fading in and out at the end during the chorus, maybe Tom is saying he reintegrated the shadow and found a way to make it work to help him rather than hurt him. Wow, very powerful.

Someone recommended Daechwita by Agust D. Its great suggestion but i would like you to react to The Last by Agust D. This is one of the tracks in BTS' Suga alter ego Agust D's first solo album from 2016. The song is about his inner struggles, his poor mental state at some point of his life and the hardships he's been through as a teenager and a trainee. Its very deep, sincere and extremely emotional song. You can clearly hear and sense the pain in his voice. Another great song treating similar subject as Tom Macdonalds' Best rapper is Interlude: Shadow - Another Suga solo song. Make sure you watch the full length version cuz there's an extra verse in it. It's all about success and the fear of being insanely famous.
