"any carry on luggage?" "Just him" lmaoooo
"And do me a favor. Don't disturb my friend, he is dead tired"
That was the wittiest line in the whole film.
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
"Open your mouth again and i'll nail it shut" rofl
Cause he was force kidnapped
“ Do me a favor don’t disturb my friend he’s dead tired”. 😂😂😂
He lives here.
I mean getting elbowed by the mighty arms of Arnie! Im surprised his head remained intact.
One of the most realistic scenes in film history.
To be honest this happens quite often. I'm scared to death of flying and have done this exact thing several times just to get off the plane
@@SultanKhan66 wow, I’m glad I’m not the only one!
😂😂😂 you must have watched Tom and Jerry in the past,if this is the most realistic scene in fil history then Pacino, de niro, they all gonna hide ,Arnie is just a daft actor his unquiet selling point are his muscles,,
That's true of pretty much every Arnold Schwarzenegger scene. You know actually removed all his skin, and replaced it with a metal endoskeleton for the final scenes of The Terminator?! Now THAT'S a dedicated actor.
The way he flails his hands when Arnie broke his neck made it a lot more realistic.
This scene is SO memorable. "Do me a favour - don't disturb my friend. He's dead-tired." And being too "airsick" to sit down. And his clever escape. Like I said - SO memorable to me.
Yeah... "Airsick" before they had even taken off, gets me every time 🤣
Relax.
How old are you?
@@Ahmad-ss4vz I am presently 54 years of age. I was 15 when this movie came out. Dare I ask why you ask such a question?!

That leap from the landing gear of the plane into the swamp would have broken every bone in a person’s body, except for Arnold.
He landed so neatly and oh so comfortably into that pile of hay..
I saw that movie and the stunts especially this were so far fetched that they spoilt the movie
Arnold broke the swamp's bones.
Well, maybe not Chuck Norris too??
Wie hätte dies mit Chuck Norris wohl ausgesehen? Aber ehrlich: ich liebe sie beide
Only Arnold can do these 1-liners with ease and perfection. Truly iconic moments in movie history.
......and Chuck Norris ;)
Are you going to tell him they're campy? I'm not telling him.
"The last boy scout" had plenty of one-liners, too.

Gotta love 80s movies, they make jumping from a plane look so safe
it is you should try it sometime 😄
I jumped like that too, it's okay, I'm dead.
Well, Arnold was a Golem back then. Who should be worried instead is the planet surface.
Yep, they had to redo the shot eleven times . Nearly ran out of gas !
Miss the 80's.
Plane hasn't left the runway, yet the couple in front of him is sleeping 🤣. Nobody on the other side of the isle? 🤣 I must have watched this movie 100 times. Just legendary 😁
Honestly me too I fall asleeo very fast in plane. Maybe I'm lucky.

Hard to believe this was 1985....almost 40 years ago
God will not be mocked!!
Dude’s arms flying up when Arnold wrecked him had me laughing!
Horrible acting
@@j.c.n9718 Maybe overacting, but not necessarily horrible. The way I saw it, it could be a stray nerve impulse from his spinal cord getting compressed and severed.
What got me laughing is how he managed to break his neck without anybody noticing.
Director: Can you throw your hands up in the air when Arnold breaks your neck to make it seem more realistic?
@@WaterCranelmao
He's airsick but the plane hasn't even taken off yet 😂
"...Dead tired "
He probably means the smell of the inside of the plane, after all I sometimes feel sick from the smell of the inside of a car
he wasnt sick but meant it as a plausible excuse in order to carry out his plan.
😂😂😂😂😂
motion sickness would've been more convincing.
"Any carry-on luggage?" "Just him." 🔥☠
The mechanical efficiency of the elbow-to-face-then-break-the-neck was impressive.
Gotta love how the stewardess just let Arnie do whatever during takeoff simply because he was “air sick”.
pre-911, anything was possible....
Try that today and they'll stop the plane and hand you over to the police.
@@guitarslim56thanks for nothing, Arnold

Arnold was the king of '80s action movies.
Even into the 90's!
Yep
gosh this movie, the one liners, the steel drums, THE MUSCLES. Truly a classic
Lots of people complain about how the fall would never work, but honestly, it's probably one of the most realistic plane jumps without a parachute in an action movie I've ever seen. He jumps BEFORE he is airborne on a high altitude, it was literally just off the platform, that's a few dozen feet max. So his body wouldn't actually have enough time to accelerate all the way, he is not falling that fast and not falling that hard. Number two - the guy is an experienced commando built like a WWII tank. If anybody knows how to behave in a fall like this to minimize the damage done to your body, and flex off the rest it would be him. And thirdly, his fall is softened by both water AND foliage. That's hyper-realistic. There are many recordings of totally random people surviving jumps on dense foliage, snow or water all throughout modern history - some of them, without a scratch too. His fall gets absorbed by a combination of two, making it far easier to believe. What I'm trying to say is - guys, if you wanna complain about no parachute jumps, please pick some of the guys who just jumped and rolled from a few miles in the air. There's plenty of them around in movies. Not this guy. This was done properly.
Exactly he jumped maybe from 100 feet into the air and into foliage and water. Both cushioned his fall.
Only he and Keanu Reeves can do that.
I was an experienced commando and also built like a tank. And I also know anyone would be crippled at a minimum and probably dead in this fall. Keep believing though, lol.
@@bigd7696 I just laugh and laugh when I see idiots in here saying "it's a very realistic jump you could survive" 😂
Except he wouldn't fall straight down. If you jump out of an aircraft goind at 150 mph on takeoff you will be going forward at that speed whilst falling, so you hit the ground at the vector sum of 100+ mph and whatever gravity accelerated you too. The movie completely ignores fundamental physics by showing him fall almost straight down.
"he's dead tired"....😂😂😂classic...best line in the movie
What about "I eat green berets for breakfast, and right now I'm very hungry"?!!
“Don’t disturb my friend. He’s dead-tired.” Lmao Arnold’s savage!
This man is the real definition of a Legend. October 2023, still watching you sir
He just completely nailed that guy with a vicious elbow to the face and snapped his neck and nobody even noticed it? Man the 80’s were amazing!!
Another few amazing coincidences is that they got seats in the back corner and the pilots completed that flight without noticing someone got into chassis compartment and depressurized the plane.
The way he whacked that guy was classic 😂😂😂
The arms
hahaha 😂
The couple in front didn't even turn around lol.
The plan he used was serious. Most innovative killing strategy ever used in a movie. 😂
They were dead tired too.
80 movies are like games with cheat code: invincibility, infinite bullets, max stamina, and max stealth
That’s what makes them so good. They’re power fantasies and they rock! Commando in particular is played pretty straight, but there’s enough of that great humour to really draw out the absurdity of it all and make it so endlessly enjoyable!
as if modern superhero movies are any different
- Any carry on luggage? - *Only him*
Flight attendant: " Any luggage?" Arnold: "Just him" 🤣
In this movie Arnold was capable of destroying an army, but the only scene that he felt afraid was looking at the dog eyes in the cargo, it’s nature power that cannot be challenged 💪

For being ex-military himself, Henriquez was pretty laxed while guarding a well regarded marine commando. Lets him have the outside seat, doesn't pay attention when Matrix asks for a blanket & pillow immediately after boarding, and the worst offense is Henriquez sticking his chin out, giving Matrix the perfect angle to elbow him into unconsciousness. 🙂 I read somewhere that Commando 2 was planned, but Arnold had become a huge star and rejected the idea. The script was rewritten and Diehard was the result.
I was in high school mid-late 80s and used to watch all his movies religiously on cable and VCR. Miss those days 😢

There should of been more henchmen on the plane as well instead of the one guard
I think that movie was intended to be ridiculous. The opening scene of him carrying a log, flexing his bicep was hilarious. When my son and I would work around the house together, sometimes he'd grab a broom and mimic Arnold. Cracked me up every time.
I was just thinking of that scene the other day. My neighbour had a tree cut down, and I wanted the logs. They were cut into about 2' lengths and probably 18"-2' across... so pretty big... but no way I could lift them.
Ripping out and throwing a phone booth too
Ahhhnalond is the one BS hero who can make it hilarious. Just watched John Wick 4. What a load of nonsense. Ahnold would make it viewable.
@@cambonious23 What was cool was they made it obvious. 30 guys shooting at him with semi-auto weapons, not hitting him once, then he turns around while running, does one spray, and they all drop. I just watched John Wick 4. Now, that stuff is garbage. They try to make it "real". C'mon, man....

Well, Arnie did survive a plane jump in Eraser too, landed on a car roof. And I kind of think True Lies is Commando's companion piece.

exactly. i don't think he gets a lot of credit. he can do comedy and drama. it's just that he has to work with the right people who can understand his limitations but also spread it out more little by little. that's why i laud james cameron and the late, great ivan reitman for doing that for arnold. they were able to be patient with him and let him grow as an actor.

Matrix missed a trick here. If he'd jumped out five seconds later he would have been directly over Sully walking to his car and could have given him a roundhouse kick to the head as he landed. Far more realistic than dropping into a pond.

yeah they were acting like it was normal for a man to be dead on a stretcher leaving a plane. and the flight attendent didn't notice arnold went to the bathroom and never came out for 11 hours? they could have came up with a better escape scenario than this, maybe find a parachute
@@aldfjak yeah that part was totally unrealistic. Not only that he tore apart the protective padding separating the mechanical area of the plane from the cargo.
