I've had an iPhone since the 4 model and just upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S24+. I can honestly say I will never change back to iPhone. Apple makes their products work great together, but with just a few years' time, the product is already left behind and feels obsolete. Android has a lot more versatility, and I feel it was more worth my money.

Been using the iPhone since 2009. Recently purchased an S24 Ultra this year and am never looking back...
If you consider eco systems then consider how Apple's walled garden is closed and limits you to their own gadgets only, while Samsung, Google and Microsoft create interoperable shared ecosystem that lets you use whatever windows laptop you want, any tablet you find good enough for you, any earbuds and any PC you want to build. Except for Apple devices that can work only with each other.
And all that "anything you want" results in subpar ecosystem experience.
I can agree I like Windows. And love all Samsung features with my S9 tablet and my S24U I can connect and share anything across all systems. Everything is super smooth

Could we just correct the “ecosystem” argument here and clarify that Samsung does have an ecosystem. It has the phone, watch, headphones, tablet, and laptop. Not only that, it has its own “find my” network to find your devices. If you wanted to move your music listening from one device to another, you can. If you wanted to pick up that call on your laptop, you can. If you wanted to read your messages on your tablet or laptop, you can. The ONE thing Samsung does not have is something equivalent to AppleTV+. That’s it. So, if I wanted to go “all-in” the ecosystem for Samsung, I could.
Just the fact that Apple can't play a simple .flac file melts my brain. I'd add to that. Like 3 days ago I walked into a retail shop went to pay and my S24U asked me if I want to pair with a Samsung TV, Samsung Fridge 😂 I said then wtf that's an ecosystem. It's really nice to change info between Samsung devices but the fact that it connects to my windows PC. Idk what those apple sheep think when they speak about apple ecosystem. Maybe 5 years ago was true but now. Come on.

But Qualcomm has advantage in GPU and NPU since Qualcomm bought VLIW mobile graphics of ATI and developed it for a decade now and such graphics is good for neural networks, so they made their NPU based on their GPU.

I have both, prefer the s24 ultra. I could less about imessage, the ecosystem, or any other lock in features Apple tries to deploy. Way too many features on the S24 Ultra that I use daily that are lacking on the iPhone for me to use as a longterm daily. I do prefer the Macbook over Windows laptops though. It doesn't have to be either or, I use products from both sides on the daily.

I have really enjoyed the past two months with the S24 Ultra, but the Ultra series is always a premium experience that's hard to compare against other Android devices. I have yet to spend time with the iPhone 15 Pro Max though, I'd love to do my own side by side some day.
I wouldn't say the action button is an advantage. You can set the power button to double tap to do something or tap the back of the phone using the good lock app. I use the double tap on the power button to bring up a few selections using routines. I can choose couple different apps, camera, shortcuts of an app (like when you hold a app icon it shows several other options from it), or many other options.So in that regard, s24 ultra wins.

i use to be a samsung fan until i tryed iphone seens my family had them and i will never go back to samsung or android, iphone - imessages, icloud, alot better sounding speaker, its just a smoother running phone, love my iphone 14 pro max and the always on display is better than samsung, love face ID better than fingerprint, smoother working camera, theres more just ran out of room lol.

Honestly why the features are nice I just need a phone to be a phone… I’ve been an iPhone user since the 3G currently have a 12 pro max, but upgrading to a 15 pro max purely because I want the blue titanium. My 12 is pacific blue and didn’t upgrade because I love the colour of it.
It's almost like these types of hardware comparison videos are now irrelevant, you can't go wrong with either one. Now it should be about the ecosystem and what Os you're most comfortable and familiar with.

Apple can probably add AI with an update. Worst thing about Samsung phones is the awful rollout date updates. Unlike Apple where you get updates to ALL devices 7 years back, Samsung send updates by Mobile Carrier then by model number, horrible. Plus Apple lets consumers into their Beta programs, Samsung does not. Apple's handoff from phones to MAC including sound (MAC speakers or AirPods) is a great feature. The Ecosystem is king on Apple due to them making their own computers.
Do you realize Samsung ecosystem controls their Tvs washer and dryer laptops watches vacuum cleaner ect.

No doubt Apple's weather app is superior to any weather app on Android. As an Android user I was so disappointed when Dark Sky was acquired by Apple. Their real time predictions are spot on.
Whenever I recommend a phone to someone, largely I'll lean towards android, unless they already have multiple other apple products, the seemless integration is a very nice touch. As for me, I bounce back and forth, LG to iphone to pixil to currently iphone
you should compare how apps work, I feel apps are much better on iphone (Banking apps, Adobe and edit apps)
I’ve been an iPhone user for over 10+ years but had an S10+ and a Note 10. I don’t think I’d switch to a galaxy anytime soon anytime soon, but I’m extremely shocked how better the camera has bad with galaxy’s from the photo and video test I was blown away since I can finally say galaxies cameras are on par with Apple speaking of the s24 ultra very surprise. It’ll give video man keep up with the work. 🤘🏽

Samsung is simply the best because it reaches out and communicates with all platforms the best while providing tons more for its devices within its family. More to choose from. More to do. More convenience. There isn't one thing another brand offers samsung doesn't yet there are tons of hardware and software your competitor is begging to have access too. Views, this hasn't been a debate since iphone 10 and these reviews will continue to limit apple consumers. The funny part is Apple consumers believe this because there's a learning/ patience curve. That's tough.

Ive had the 14 pro max for about a year now and its awful. No matter if ive got 1 bar or full bars the phone doesnt work. The battery has shit itself and it struggles to last 3-4 hours through the day of normal use. Thinking about getting a samsung

I have both I use Samsung apps more I will miss apples apps but I use Samsung apps when I am home. Only order I use on iphone is S24ultra. Have u not notice the Apple Apps is watching u and it knows what u doings and controlling it.

As far as the ecosystem go, The tv/Home audio interface is great. NOBODY really ever bought those expensive apple tvs, the samsung tvs are phenomenal.

Picked up a iPhone 15 Pro Max in January and it’s a decent phone to replace/upgrade my iPhone 11. I thought about buying a Pixel 8 Pro since I had a Pixel 4a 3 years ago. I haven’t had/owned a Samsung since the Galaxy S3 because of TouchWiz but I have used plenty of Galaxy phones throughout the years and I’m slowly starting to come back around to liking Samsung again even though I’m not a fan of OneUI. Both phones are great! Don’t listen to Apple or Samsung fanboys about who is better and who isn’t, go based on what you want and even do some exploration.
Exactly... Of course different people likes different things. Just let them be and just be you. Pick which one that makes you happy regardless of what other people say. I personally prefer Samsung and android phones but I don't go around telling people that android is better.

I prefer iPhone 15 Pro but that’s not to say S24 Ultra is not great. They’re both amazing phones with their own advantages and disadvantages.
I dont really get the qualm with smooth video zoom in and out, I mean,its the quality of the zoom more important than the transitions itself?, its not a major feature. Just because the zoom is not as smooth on the S24 Ultra doesnt mean its laggy, because the damn phone could damn well do more than an iPhone could, lets say the Samsung Dex really. Can your iPhone do that ?. Can your iphone really do multitasking like an android does?. Probably not. Also, its a given that the integration between apple product would be most optimal because they control everything as it is both their hardware and software. Samsung does not with this third party providers like Microsoft, Google and PC makers. But if you would like to compare, it would probably be great to compare it againts samsungs own equivalent products, integration may still be less optimal but apples, but its not as if integrating this things are hard anyway, just set them up once, and its done. The most advantageous feature of android really is customizability, and the fact that it would work not only with samsungs own products but across a range of other products like Windows PCs of different manufacturers is actually great. It means you're not stuck in any brand and could choose freely prolly to sacrifice a little of less optimal integration that is a one time task anyway. Thirdly, you focused on the dynamic island and didn't even dig in depth on samsungs own unique features. Maybe lets address the elephant in the room, the ugly huge notch on the iphone is one. What else, customizability and features, ever heard of good lock apps?. You mention you can see the weather on the phone screen, but samsung does this too. All in all, this doesn't even seem like an objective analysis. You must mention the equivalent features of the things you say are good on the other and are found (or closely equivalent to it)or not found on the other. I can see some other influencers do this on tiktok and youtube.

I still go for iphone. Base in my experience on samsung for 1 month, it sucks when comes to photography. I've used it when we were in hongkong disneyland and the photo sucks and not really good outcome. Everyone can say anything until they experience it. And samsung s24u is not really good at all. I swap to iphone after that.
Photo, video, Apple music, Apple Pay, faceID, health features, smoothness, standby mode, security, battery, car play.. It's all better on the Iphone then on a Samsung device..

I've been using an iPhone since iPhone 3. Switched to a samsung yesterday. Made me realise we are all mugs. Every phone does the same thing as an iPhone 3. Only reali difference is the cameras and they are a tad faster and smoother

You're right that Samsung alone cannot compete with Apple's ecosystem. However, Apple can't compete with the Android Ecosystem. Almost all android devices are compatible with each other and there are many options available.
Left Samsung after the S22 ultra and got the 15 pro max, I’ve only ever used Samsung since 2009 but the S22 ultra was a joke. Glad to see Samsung is doing good with their last 2 phones now but I’ll likely never go back. This is my first iPhone and it’s like going from a 1983 Porsche 944 to a 2023 911 Turbo S. At least for me.

The AI features are free until 2025 and I don’t think it really matter if you have other Apple products,it’s if you want to try something new,I have Apple products and I switch over to the s24 U the only inconvenience I have is the apple watch but other than that everything is fine

I think Samsung will be best for someone that isn’t interested in computers, watches, tablets, etc. I’ve owned 6 Samsung phones over the years, the last one being the S22 Ultra and I never felt the need to get any of their other devices to compliment the phones. I am now with Apple and will never go back to Samsung.
I finally bought Samsung S24 Ultra, just because I don't like the feeling of being controlled. To be honest, I don't think Samsung's AI function is amazing. For example, typing and translation functions, many input methods have already been realized, such as sogou input method. But I like the feeling that my mobile phone is my master, and I don't want to be controlled by how I pay for the software, what browser software I use and what map software I use. Why do you have to be a grandson when you spend so much money on a mobile phone?

Long time Samsung user. I had IPhone for 6 months. I felt scammed. Ios feels like inferior version to Android. Not much can be streamlined or adjusted. Just feels technologically less advanced
All depends what you do with the phone.. I prefer less features but a flawless connection between Iphone vs Apple watch and Iphone vs Carplay.. Samsung watch 6 feels much slower and much more laggier combined with a Samsung phone, and Android auto gave me regulary delay in skipping songs, bluetooth and internet issues, laggy movements, Google not responding such issues.. Not having these issues with Apple..

You found widgets on iOS to be more aesthetically pleasing… that’s gotta be a joke. As an iOS user myself I hate the widgets. No customisation to them at all! Samsungs customisation as far as widgets go is awesome. You can make the widget clear, you can make the widget wider, taller or any shape you need it to be. Much more options for widgets on android considering most nice widgets on iOS come from third party apps that require subscriptions to use a widget. Wow. I can’t wait to switch back to galaxy in a few months. Riding out this iOS thing until iOS 18 proves itself worthy

So children, at the end of the day, you will see all these random people talk about why which one is better. Well its all about YOU and YOUR thoughts, if you want some easy you may choose an iPhone, you want flexibility? You may choose Samsung or android. All of these phones have their own styles and advantages, but it all matters about what you want and expect from it.
I don't care who has the best camera or is the fastest phone in benchmarks. Every flagship smartphone takes super pictures and video's and is blazing fast. 97% of all smartphone users don't even see the differences. I'm a SMARTPHONE user so I want the best screen (dpi/brightness/anti-glare), best battery, best/most usablility and productivity options, best gaming- and multi-media experience, best personalization options and best innovation. I want DEX, KNOX, S-PEN, call recording, multi-tasking, multi-window, fingerprint scanner, best screen, widgets, themes, integration with windows, the biggest eco-system (Samsung SmartThings), fast charging, fast wireless charging and I want AI. On all these aspects the S24 Ultra is destroying the iphone 15 PM big time. So why keep people buying these antiquated, restricted and very very limited iphones?

Its mind blowing people still don't realize Samsung, Vivo, Huawei, Xiaomi, Honor magic, Google , One Plus, and Red Magic are superior to IOS . Android changed my life years ago and once you have things like stylus support , multi tasking , open os , samsung TV , IR Blaster , wireless screen casting , foldable innovation, no limitations etc you cant live without them

Ecosystem and action button??? Really now those are the advantages??? Half baked comparison! Have you configured the power button of a Samsung phone to see how many options there are? And ecosystem has its own it does not even need Microsoft or Google! Get yourself a Samsung laptop or tablet or smartwatch or buds or fridge or oven or washing machine and control them all from your phone! That’s also ecosystem wider and more feature rich. No???

There is a program you can download on your Android device to turn it into a iPhone. All of this is really irrelevant anyways. It really just comes down to personal preference.
