    • @@modickens1272you are correct, but too high and the elbows are too bent making it excessively tiring to bear weight through the arms and/or making it more tempting to walk with the walker too far out in front where it's more likely to scoot out from under them if they bear weight through it. A lot of people get the hunch before they need a walker and the walker has to be sized accordingly.

  • It’s interesting how we have a minimum age to be President (and other elected offices), but maximum ages for certain government jobs. Maybe we should have a maximum age, or mandatory retirement ages, for certain elected positions. Say for POTUS it should be minimum of 35 and maximum to run (not hold office) of say 67. But I’m a huge fan of term limits, and we’ll never see those so long as the people in charge of making the law are the ones holding the gig.

  • when asked if Elon should be investigated biden had a very thorough and nuanced answer . he had no cognitive decline in that statement which was a couple minutes. i forget names all the time and even lose my train of thought in the middle of a sentence sometimes. it happens. yet i have no problem thinking things through at my company with a hundred employees.

    • The bigger problem with that is despite all this PR, going on late night TV, starting a Tik Tok, etc. it's not really changing public opinion about Biden so I'm not sure what they are trying to accomplish.   • For the 700th time, it’s not his age that’s an issue. It’s the fact he can’t complete his train of thought. It’s the fact he views the world as if it’s 1984 instead of 2024. And what about that head coach of Duke men's basketball He worked for the Dean of the University who was the leader of the university not the coach.
