Love that last line. “They’re not ashamed about only putting nine points on the board. They just worried about winning.” “Absolutely.”
Winning is the only thing.
Even if people think that this is boring..... This is playcalling art work.
You commented this prettier than I could. As much as I dislike the pats, Belichick is maybe the greatest coach ever.
Bruh your fucken pfp I love it
issac mora it’s insane how much I just learned from three plays
Patriots all access Saturday show for years has had Bill Belichick breaking down plays like this. It's awesome.... I also recommend searching here for "Bill Belichick voice of genius" … great video of Bill behind the scenes
@@ExtremelyToxic maybe?
I could listen to these guys talk about football all day
Was thinking the same thing. If i could listen to them break down the key plays in every game I would be in heaven.
U can watch belichick with zolak
Absolutely!
Now you can! I’m making a supercut of this video that just plays this on repeat for 24 hours. You’re welcome
I , as Well , Mr. Mann. I Played Little League and High School Football for 7 years, Mainly Offensive Linemen, and Halfback one year. Wish we had video playback to study good and bad plays. We had Helmets only.... No tackling , Walkthroughs.
Develin is just a SLEDGEHAMMER, virtually every time he's on the field somebody get's their bell rung.
Seriously. He pushed that guy backwards 2-3 steps on that touchdown run.
Bowling ball Devlin is a BEAST
Feel like he’s way underrated
Dude went to Brown! Devlins the man.
Well unfortunately the last time he was on the field he was the guy that got his bell rung lol
Seeing both these guys breaking down a drive is probably never going to happen again so enjoy this
I hope they write a book someday when they're all finished
You know, the Patriots are the most disciplined team ever in the NFL. They don't stupidly cause a lot of offensive/defensive penalties like other teams do that hurts their chance of winning games. This is one reason why they keep winning superbowls.
Just one of them
Only 2 coaches discipline and humble their players. And they both coached for the browns.... Nick Saben and Bill Belichick!!
Idk about the most disciplined they get in to alot of fights the broncos do too
@@lillianball9842 Lol wtf are you talking about?

Josh coming back to the Patriots as OC was one of the greatest things to happen for the team during the '010s.
A way better game than people gave it credit for, a defensive masterpiece and one of Bill’s best. McDaniels is a genius too! And the GOAT!!!

Now I can't complain when someone on Madden repeats the same play over and over and over and over😭
People can say what they want but this right here is why they make the big bucks they are coming up with this stuff on the fly, mid game and applying it. Not easy things to do
That’s called coaching 😂
Well actually the split wide 22 personnel is the same type of offense the ran against Denver in an afc championship game a few years ago, they hadn’t practiced it and they made few adjustments to line ups and rode the play. These things that his coordinators come up with are plays bill thought of and ran years ago, he’s thought of it all. GOAT
Cringe...theyre not coming up with it on the fly, guy
@@BennyNegroFromQueens they changed the game plan and switched things up. Takes guts to pull the plug and experience to know when to do it.
I hate saying this but we just have to admit that the pats are the smartest team, of your not football smart your not winning games and if you want to beat the pats you’ll have to outsmart them. That’s pretty dang hard
Waylon Runfola it’s a hard truth 😭
Waylon Runfola the Giants did it twice 🤫😄

Breaking News: Bill Belicheck fires Josh Daniels for “releasing game plans to other teams”.
They are watching film just like every other team does. The problem is Bill and the gang are playing chess and the rest seem to be playing checkers. I'm not a Pats fan by any means but you really have to admire their consistency. They continually bring people in and supplant them into their culture and it works over and over again. Tom is still playing at a high level. It will be interesting to see if there is any fall off after Tom finally leaves in 2029 lol.

Carson Sluiter Yes
You'll never see another dynasty like the Patriots. One qb with six rings with one team? It'll never happen again
Bill and Josh are so smart and situational. Tom Brady is so clutch and cool. That is a combination that is all most unbeatable. Amazing run for any team and sport.

@@ThrottleUp_ I don't know who your team is but we all know along with everything else, they even cheat better than your team.

McDaniels better OC than HC by far.
True he was young back then
When bill came to the pats they said he was a better DC than HC by far
@@alexharvey6522 before Osweiler started they said he was Peyton Manning's protege.
Maybe when Belichick retires he might take over as HC
Josh was given WAY to much responsibility, way to much work, way to little support. Mike Shanahan was fired for his poor GM decisions and then you turn around and give the same responsibility to a 32 year old. It was stupid on behalf of Bowlen, but it was probably the time where he illness started to have a major impact. The HC Josh gave us one of the best drafts in 2010 and that was the core of the team up to the 2013 SB run. Tebow was rough but Josh saw predicted that he could be a effective QB. Too bad that Elway gave him one of the worst HCs for the task of developing young QBs. Tebow is the only young QB that has been around Fox that has not failed outright
Superbowl 52 was about offense and 53 was about defense plain and simple 💯
54 will be about special teams
@@alexharvey6522 4-2 Pat's with 2 safeties for the win 😂😂🔥
Thank you, Field Marshal Obvious.
What remarkable coaching. A truly world class game that only real football buffs can appreciate. :)
All the work the coaches put in. Pretty amazing.
These two men talking bout football and how to adjust on the fly in game and find ways to create mismatches is pure genius. It truly shows that there is levels to this stuff.
Look at these 2 legends side by side 🙌🏾
Lifelong Pats fan and I cant believe this rediculiouly incredible run. These dudes are serious people. Earnie Adams too...
Same play 3 times in a row. Rams had no answer. Goes to show you that sometimes getting overly creative can hurt you (*cough cough, mcvay). You just gotta find the thing that works and stick with it sometimes.
No doubt
Just once. The Rams also had one drive, but the Patriots made that one huge play, and Jason McCourty made all the difference. Imagine if he doesn't cover all that ground, we'd probably be watching a video of McVay giving a breakdown of the Goff to Cooks TD pass.
For what it's worth, one might consider that running the same play three times in a row is its own form of creativity. After all, most teams wouldn't expect the offensive team to run the same play twice in a row, or worse, dare to run it three times in a row. So, it's almost a case of the most unexpected play being the one you ran the previous play.
crucisnh I mean they also had different people on the field, hit a different player each time based on the defense, and flipped the formation. Same play but... not really. Goes to show the level the Pats are on vs everybody else. This is also a good demo of why Brady is so elite. It only works because he’s on the same page even with on the fly adjustments.
Anyone who says this was a garbage game isn’t a true football fan
james 11 true
james 11 or they don’t like sloppy offense
It wasn’t trash it was kinda boring not much big plays I would like to see big plays not many points down to the wire were everybody’s on there feet

Hats off to Wade Phillips. Great game. Belichick vs Phillips
Unsettling how composed bellichuck always is. That seam to gronk and he whispers something under his breath then just grunts "two yard line."
without a doubt - one of the greatest COACHING displays of all time. Josh McDaniels and Bill Belichick are both GOATs at their positions.
Both made by Brady
Welcome to the Raiders coach McDaniels!
Blessed/honored/proud/lucky/happy to be a Patriots fan. These guys are so special. Best organization in the league.

Those plays from gronk, absolute animal
I don’t like the Pats at all but this is Magical... This is Chess while the Rams played checkers on the most important drive in the game
i think they were playing chess too.... just ended up losing to the chessmaster
The whole game was a chess match. You heard how much respect Daniel and Belichick has for the way Phillips and the Rams had kept them shutdown the whole game. They did a masterful job of adapting on this one drive, but it was close the whole game.
You best believe Wade Phillips was playing chess too.
It was a chess game for all of them. The young wiz kid just lost to the grandmaster
This shows one of the differences between Pat's and other teams. Ab, obj, or other receivers would be like "how am I not in the game so close to the end zone just throw it up I got it" meanwhile Edelman gets told to be ready and hes like "run it in" because all hes thinking about is that W.
that W is the only stat that matters in Foxboro
@@WrathchildNH If Antonio Brown was on the field he'd be complaining that he should have gotten the ball on that TD.
And now you know why they're the best.
Growing up with my uncle coaching and being by his side every game this is so satisfying as it reminds me of those tight games as a young kid that my uncle drew up plays for that🤧
LFG!!!! Coach MC you’re gonna lead us back to greatness.💯😤🏴☠️
The fact McDaniels can adapt and change it up is the kind of offense The Raiders needs because so many times they become to one dimensional I think McDaniels would be great head coach for the Raiders

This is ART right here.
Can’t wait to see our new offense. Gonna be the best offense we’ve had since 2016
I don't think so. McDaniels isn't A leader. He's A good oc but he's not head coach material.... He's not a leader of men. A lot of players don't like him and if their is no respect there is no victory.

Before the game, Belichick and Rams' coach McVay are chatting and pleasantries are exchanged. McVay harps on how impressed he is with the Patriots ability to change their identity from game to game. I always find remarks like this very interesting. The opposition knows what you're capable of and still can't do enough to win it. No one on the planet saw a 13-3 score going into this game. To me this is the sort of thing that cements Belichick as THE man in the football world. His influence is pervasive. Getting anyone to understand where you're coming from is not that difficult. Getting them to understand then implement with precision when it changes from week to week is that whole other level. This video is a great example of Belichick's abilities being told through Josh McDaniels. Great stuff!
Awesome video!
Both coaching staffs brilliant designed their defensive schemes to shut down the opposition. Only difference was an on the fly adjustment for one drive, utilizing a personnel group rarely seen in the modern NFL. One of the greatest chess matches in SB history

Kermet the frog would make a great quarterback.
Miss Piggy would make a great DT lol
You know Kermit could be the next Brady
He already is. Patrick Mahomes
Brady is THE MAN!!
Bill bellichick is truly the goat. Whatever your defense brings to him, he creates plays to expose your defense. This guy really is a mastermind & man I could watch him talk about football all day
I still remember a Deadspin guy giving one of the first reports on the Pats winning; "Patriots win the Superbowl because of course they did."
there had to be at least one rams staff member who watched this and went "doh!" out loud

I miss Develin so much. He was such an important piece of this Super Bowl run and victory.

That MCcourtey play to stop a nailed-on TD, wow!
Wade Phillips needs more credit for what he did against the pats
Mario Montano agreed. He has always been such a great DC.
He didn’t get the W so it doesn’t matter.
This was such a good game. Felt like either team could break it loose at any time. Patriots finally got it going in 4th

A lot of people hated it. I loved it, I was on the edge of my seat! I knew whoever made a big play first would likely win.

That is why this years Superbowl was actually a really good game. 2 great head coaches, good coordinators, 2 good defences and 2 good offenses. Wasn't going to be a high scoring game because these guys had 2 weeks to figure each other out. A handful of really really great plays in the situation made all the diference.

There's a video with Josh and Spagnuolo talking about SB 42, but I had trouble finding it again a couple months ago
The defensive game plan breakdown is equally good. Bill took a game plan from a raiders game I believe and tweaked it to shut down the speed of the rams offense.

6:15 Number 26 on the rams is about to meet an unstoppable force
Playoffs vs Ravens....they throw in some ineligible RB plays and outsmart the opposing coaching staff. Super Bowl vs Rams (first one) they accept giving up the big plays to the Greatest Show but they smack the WRs after the catch. The strategy works. Super Bowl vs Rams (second time) they run the SAME PLAY three straight times for the only TD drive of the game. Just really impressed by the versatility, gumption and execution of this squad in the last couple decades.
I'm pretty sure OneDrive is on those Microsoft tablets
