  • Whether it was Colts-Pats or Broncos-Pats, Brady vs Manning was always an NFL holiday. You worked whatever you were doing around being able to watch them face off. I rooted for Peyton, but had nothing but respect for Tom. Brady was my dad's guy, being a Michigan man, but he loved Peyton too. In my dad's final years, this was probably the one thing we _always_ shared. And then in the playoffs, we'd root for whichever guy was left. I miss seeing these guys play. But most of all, I miss seeing these guys play...while watching with my dad.

    • He had one in 2015...he deserved it though. Manning's arm was pretty shot by that point and it was the 1st time in his career that he wasn't "the reason" the team was in the playoffs. Allthough his leadership and wits def helped the process.

  • Being a 50yr old lifelong resident of Indy & a Colts fan, I always hated(but respected) the Pats & Brady bcuz they crushed our dreams of going to the Super Bowl so many years. What's mind blowing is watching these guys rattle off the situation, the play, the player & the consequences off the top of their heads 10-20yrs later. Kinda cool seeing them remember all the exact plays that I still think about from that era of Colts/Pats & Broncos/Pats games

  • Football was so good back then. Rules hadnt gone soft yet making rookies look like prime manning. Running backs still had value guys like tomlinson, shawn alexander, steven jackson, marshal faulk just to name a few. Players didnt protest our national anthem, hate police, and call the fans (even their own adopted parents capernick) racists. Even the madden video game was good and hadn't sold out all its game modes to slot machine mechanics yet.
