The point isn't that the term "Abrahamic Religion" is universal. It is not meant to encompass Buddhists and Hindus. It is a way of referring to three religious traditions that share a body of stories and revered figures: Adam, Noah, Abraham, Lot, Isaac, Ishmael, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Jesus (not shared with Judaism) et. al. Islam connects itself to Abraham via his son Ishmael. The Qur'an states that Abraham and Ishmael built the Ka'ba in Mecca. In the Islamic tradition, it was in Mecca that Hagar despaired that her son Ishmael would survive when they ran out of water. It is said that she ran back and forth between two small hills, Safa and Marwa, which form a part of the Hajj ritual. And it is said that Ishmael, guided by God, discovered the sacred well of Zamzam. And Christians believe that Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son and God not making him do it in the end was a forerunner of God sacrificing his own son, Jesus. To Jews, Abraham is the one with whom God concluded His covenant with the Jewish People. We need some name to refer to this family of religions. Why not "Abrahamic Religions?"

The Qur'an is a seventh century AD book written by a man with opinions.abraham knows the voice of the Lord.jesus did come to establish Christianity,that's why it bears his title,Christ,to do the will of him,to heal the sick,cast out demons,and reconcile enemies by the power of the supernatural holy spirit.

I would argue in order to be called an Abrahamic religion, you should worship the God of Abraham. This is where the problem start, the God of Abraham later gave His eternal name to Moses, Yehovah, this Yehovah said He is the only God and the only saviour (yeshua in Hebrew) then He *manifested* as Yehoshua (Yehovah-saviour) to do exactly that as He promised in Jeremiah already. Now let's see, that is Christianity, we know that Judaism came after Christianity because they reject the Saviour and Islam six centuries after Christianity, denying everything Yehovah promised to Abraham, doesn't know or hide Yehovah's eternal name, reject the Saviour and the promised new covenant, try to replace all previous scriptures with some "revelations" from an unidentified entity, contradicting all previous scriptures, clearly exposing Islamic allah as the same one who deceived Adam in the garden... I see only one true Abrahamic religion.
We can't gain knowledge about the quran from non-Muslim. Simply because the quran has provided limit to how much we can question/explain for purpose only Allah knows. This concept is absent in other religions. Focusing so much on the opinion of non-Muslim is not encouraged, for it may lead other people (including Muslims) to doubt Islam.

Islam is the ONLY Abrahamic religion, in fact, the term "Muslims" was coined by Abraham himself.

One God, one message, one belief. All religions are man made. Moses did not start Judaism, Jesus did not come to establish Christianity, Mohammad? Well he tried to rehash both religions and failed, so he used the sword instead.
