Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

Well you gotta do a ship battle with the waves now, pirate themed and all, only using the gunpower cannon. Maybe 2/3 per side, but only shooting off the sides ?
Yes, and only broadside attacks, no turrets or forward/backward cannons

@@Akawump-- Slashes are also used to separate options, usually read as "or" or "slash", or even as a proper list. 2/3 cannons → Two or three cannons Chocolate/blueberry waffle → Chocolate slash blueberry waffle 2/4/8 players → Two, four, or eight players

SPEEDBOAT COPS AND ROBBERS Everyone makes a speed boat using shared rules (consider making rotatable weapons a requirement for excitement). All boats must have a decoupler holding their engine. 1 Player is the robber and can use a damaging gun on their boat for defense. The cops can only use EMPs in hopes of disabling the engine (by disconnecting it) so they can take the robber into custody. Set the ocean to the biggest waves. All players take turns. Farthest laps around the island win. Optional rule: When players reach a certain point, or maybe 1 lap then the cops can ram the suspect and destroy them in addition to disabling their engine. Lastly, I just wanted to say how much I love your content. Been watching for a couple years and I never comment. But I love every video, especially Multiplayer Mondays!

Evolution-style pirate galleon battle has to be next. Scrap: builds a floating tank. Yzuei: builds a US Navy dingy.

Vid idea: carrier battles where 2 carriers are across the main island from eachother and launch bomber planes at eachother than can only reload their bombs once they get back to their carrier

Battle idea: Stealth battle at night. 2 glowing tanks with search lights or just one light VS a stealth bomber/fighter plane. Names have to be off.

@@danielwhitmore6244 well many options. Tanks could shoot back, or its more like a who can survive longest or can destory fastest. So plane has infinite repairs and Tanks not.

Gimic idea. Use powershields. BUT, they must turn of while you are shooting. [AKA: the same key turns them of and turns on the gun] Add: Only 1 shield. It has to be on the turret with the gun.
I got a cool idea for trailmakers. What if pieces can break apart and the whole thing doesn’t just get destroyed, I just feel like it would be cool for these kind of fights. If a flotation black is broken apart it will lose its bouyancy.
I am thinking we need to see some blackpowder battles on the high seas. Players build a ship with a 1 black powder cannon (and increasing by 1 each round). They dont have to make them a full broadside barrage, but that would be the neatest form.
A race with the dingy to see who can build the fastest dingy boat would be interesting

Pirate ship battle? You can only use gunpowder cannons, and you can only have the cannons positioned on the broadside of your ship. Playing with the waves on danger zone would be rad.

Suggestion - Inspired by David Weber's Honor Harrington series (and a bit of BattleTech): Missile Boats/LRM carriers. Dinghies for motor power, but they 'tow' the combat-capable barges behind them. No ramming allowed, just the rockets or cannons (in fixed positions, not rotating) firing at the opponents.
A 2v2 where the only way to respawn is to have the "rescue" partner haul/drag/push or otherwise escort the "battle" partner back to a checkpoint. Build restrictions would be that the "Rescue" creation has a power core limit, needs to have magnet and no weapons except for EMP to fend off enemy battle creation, and the "Battle" creation has a part count limit and is not allowed to fly. Where the way to win is to disable both creations from the opposite team in the order of (Battle creation first then Rescue creation last), and each team gets a (respawn checkpoint) at opposite sides of the map that the battle creation respawns at and a (respawn location) to take the "battle" creation to that is somewhere in the middle of the map. Respawn would be limited to battle creations only. (Respawn = Backspace not Repair) No Indestructible seats on the rescue creation and the rescue creation can repair.

With all the DLCs and updates since they were done it would probably be very interesting to revisit the old evolution battles.

A cool thing for scrapman to do would be some kind of day where he just plays some random game that doesn’t really fit the style of this channel, like fps games or survival games. And if any of those do well he could play some more and make them a part of this channel.

2v2 pirate ship battles need to be done... traditional side-mounted gunpowder cannons, one player controlling the cannons, the other controlling the ship.

Yzuei's video cut out the minigun round. 😂 I assumed you didn't do a minigun round because of the combination of recoil and the wave physics being self-endangering or just making it impossible to hit each other. 🤣
Now that they've added waves and spaceships, you should make a convertible that can be: Car, Wall Climber, Airplane, Spaceship, Submarine, AND Ship Edit: Wait: have multiple people do it and just battle with them all across the map. And another suggestion: Air battles with infinite repairs, you have to actually kick them out of their seat.

19:45 IDEA No HUD boat battle or sub hunter. 2v1 or 3v1. Give the solo player an objective to fulfil (say destroy objective targets) while the others try and stop you

Gotta do a cargo ship vs. pirate dinghies. Disabling the cargo ship without damaging the cargo. Points for undamaged cargo tallied at the end.
Multiplayer idea: Overpowered pirate ship vs. everyone else in dinghies on intense waves. Same as other overpowered vs. overnumbered challenges
I feel like no HUD battles could be its own string of videos. Not knowing exactly where the other is behind cover and not being able to take full advantage of the aiming reticle could be interesting.

Water physics in this game paired with the aerodynamics lets you build some fast creations. I designed a boat that goes 165 mph+ with a single underwater propeller. No glitch no mod pure aerodynamics
You guys should have a water battle where your seat and gun is on a paraglider attached to a speed boat.

You should do a battle where you build boats that have broadsides of gunpowder canons. You could then do it in the waves and I think it would be pretty cool, especially if you made them have sails.
You guys need to do a torpedo battle again but with only one kind of general torpedo, the boats' design being the main focus of whose better

I can see people making seaplanes or flying boats like the PBY or Pan Am Clipper with these new blocks… maybe even the Spruce Goose. Hmm… PBYs were known for air dropping torpedoes, and big swells can veer them off course. Possible double-idea: seaplanes dropping torpedoes made from the new blocks so they run on the surface?
full pirate ship battle.....!!!!! 3 cannons on left and right and 1 in front and back. 2 players, one piloting, 1 running back and forth on deck to 4 different seats that can only control the cannons on that side. maybe as a team be able to preselect angles on each cannon before the fight. dynamite in the hold, sail power, waves.
idea: 3 part race where you have to build 3 vehicles for land, sea and air, you only get a total of 5 minutes to build all 3 vehicles, no testing allowed.
SHIP OF THE LINE BATTLES WITH SAILS AND BROADSIDE ONLY
I want to see crane boat salvage competition, the rules are most returned/held salvage wins. 8 rounds, each second round everyone copies the winning ship and gets to spend 5min modifying it. The salvage can be floating cubes or something. Grab or magnets are up to you. You could make teams of two if you wanted a crane operator and a boar driver.
I want to see the pirate ship battle you did a few years back on this map with these intense waves.
Scrapmann i hope you see this been loving the videos with yzuei and kahn and the others like moonbo and kosmo what about a pirate ship build and battle maybe two-four gunpowder cannons depending what you think would be better and maybe like a 150-200 block limit that way you can do something a bit more on the tanky and detailed end i think its a really cool idea just wanted to comment that way you might see it and maybe do some sort of pirate ship video

For the gun you can set it on a rotor that is on suspension. It’s my favored way to shoot with waves(helps keep it level) I forget the settings.

Idea: 2v2 pirate ship 1 gunner who controls gunpowder cannons, 6 total, 3 on each side, and 1 driver
I would like to see a tubing battle, where you have to have a gun on a little tube that’s attached to a dinghy and the tube has a weapon and it will be a four person battle one in the driver seat and one back on the tube. The tube will be connected with power couplers. Who else likes this idea.

You should do Pirate Ship battles, with multiple guns along the sides
One super overpowered galleon like the Dauntless from Pirates of the Caribbean against, 3 1 manned sloops, or 2 2 manned brigantines or 3 1 manned brigantines. max comp. and only gunpowder canons and only pirate theme ships with maybe 500-700 parts.
Idea: chaos fight you and your friends host a max capacity server and just dogfight or tank battle with the community
n trailmakers if you disconnect a seat it can still control its original creation! make a bunker with a bomber attatched, seat inside the bunker, detatch airplane, and see who can destoy each other bunker first without getting your "HQ" bunker destroyed. maybe a 2v2, one bomber and one figther to defend the bunkers. both seats inside the same bunker! also kinda like Remote control fighting lol

You should make a power coupling pogo stick since you can jump down from the bridges in danger zone and bounce with them
High speed rescue where you have to get 10 floating victims and for bonus points 10 floating ducks in a rough water map. Each victim is on a randomized timer to sink some time between 3 and 9 minutes.
you could try an egg drop style challenge where you have to survive a fall with specific limitations ( eg: blocks, weight ect) and increase the gravity until your seat breaks
Hey Scrapman you should do rescue battle where you have to rescue a boat in the ocean that other players are on and bring them safely back to port while pirates are attacking or something like that or maybe fastest time to rescue on increasingly more dangerous waves
You could do another watter glide stunt battle but with the intense waves. Or a pirate ship battle! Or war ships

Video idea: you should try and make an anti air catapult that shoots a net made of power couplings. I tried but I couldn’t get it to work😅
