@@GaladonGaming a true toombstone means the surfer is deep enough topull the board down with is body weight and a streched legrope so say 10 12 feet deep that wasnt one because he was above the water already and its not that deep

I like these raw videos more than polished ones I think. Two shots stand out- diving under a wave with two other surfers (to your left). Was cool to see them swim under. Also the back shot of a guy who caught the wave and you ducked under but kept him in the shot. Good stuff. Makes me want to surf.

yooo, more duck dive shots like at 8:40 that shit is siiiiick! if you were out the front and swam under water with your gopro and filmed all the people behind you duck diving through the wave from underneath that would be crazy viewing

Love the POV vids. I'm a non surfer I'm fascinated by the whole line up and jockeying and how they catch waves. It seems so random but I know it's skill
i felt totally identified with the time from 11:53 to 13:35. that's always me trying to surf, the three only difference is: it happens with 2-4 feet wave; i shit out of my shorts; and takes me 2 hours to get just one 10 seconds wave.
12:34 Jamie gets hit with a breaking wave while paddling out. It looks like he made it through with the Duck Dive, then it looks like the wave pulled him backwards into the white water.

I went surfing once in Hawaii, I did ok getting on the board and riding waves out since I skateboard and my balance was ok. I drank a shitton of ocean water and was absolutely wiped out by the amount of swimming I had to do. This video just reminded me how much swimming and how confident of a swimmer you have to be to do this, it's insane. There seems to be a danger zone where the waves crash that you don't want to be caught up in after you ride a wave.
