  • An amazing video for what you except halfway through their training. I have used your KZhead videos for how to train my husky puppy from the beginning. Today I did a relaxed version of your test and I was shocked that she did so well. While she wasn’t as precise or clean as your dog, she could do everything. It was very surprising for me since I thought she was a ways off from even starting to practice an off leash heal, yet I did everything you did without actually dropping the leash. She also did a down stay for upwards of three minutes. Pretty great considering I haven’t done much training besides limited maintenance for the past 3-5 months. :)

  • i really enjoy all of your videos, they've helped me a lot with raising 2 great danes(granted danes are usually pretty easy to deal with but the lease walking and correction videos have really helped). I was wondering about 2 things specifically that other owners might be curious about. 1. what is the most effective way of introducing a dog to an ecollar? Mine are well accustomed to the prong collars and have had generally good experiences with them, but as said in one of your other videos, e-collars give corrections in an instant where as there is a delay with a prong. That is something i want to learn to use due to the fact that we often go hiking and take our dogs to dog parks/off leash areas. They are mostly well mannered but do occasionally need a small correction but its kind of hard to do when they're across the park. So any insight into the usage and introduction to e-collars would be so helpful! 2. I tried to look through the channel and see if there was a video made on this already and i couldn't find one(i might have missed it, so if i did ignore this part), I was wondering if there was a proper way to introduce a puppy to a pre-existing "family unit"? As stated above my dogs are generally well mannered and mean well but occasionally forget how big they are. They've never shown animal aggression or any real reactivity to anything that wasn't a bird. Is there steps i can take to avoid any problems with the introduction of a puppy? We are getting an american bully if the breed will make the difference. Sorry for typing a novel, I usually don't write anything this long winded but this is the first time i've really needed help on these topics so i wanted to be thorough in my explanations, thanks for reading and have a good day!

  • I found these videos to be the most informative and "no bullshit." I like the straightforward style and how you explain everything with the watcher in mind. Looks like so much work to train a dog off leash. Do I have to train my dog for off leash? My dog is pretty good, but if he sees a cat, he'll chase them until he can't get'em. So I'm not sure if I want to take him off leash. Should I go through the process anyway. Maybe you could address this question in a video. What training for what kind of people.

  • Pretty incredible the level of professionalism you have. I can tell you take your job very seriously and are very good at it. I just got a 5 month old cans corso from a breeder. She’s very shy and still coming out of her shel. She wasn’t doing so well on leash but I’ve gotten her used to it by leaving the leash on for long periods of time. She also doesn’t like to walk around and is very shy. When I put her on a leash she just sits down and even without one sometimes. If anyone has any tips that would be great. Thanks

  • You are lucky to have the governor you have. I've been telling all my midwest buddies that Florida is the greatest state in the union for a couple years now. Not weather wise though. I'd much rather have my below freezing winters and hot dry summers than your sauna like humidity. I'm impressed you can get a heavy set dog to do anything down there, my English mastiff would probably stroke out.

  • My CC puppy also struggled with downs. As he gets older (currently 12 months), he’s better. I’m wondering whether the lack of connectivity with their joints at a young age is a problem and is painful. Hence, why it seems to be common for CCs.

    @ryanmalone2681@ryanmalone26812 жыл бұрын
    • When our cc was younger, he seemed to struggle with the action, too. He was obedient, sure, but not as spry and quick with the action of up/down itself.

      @alexandersquid4681@alexandersquid46812 жыл бұрын
    • My CC does it fine at 4 months. It can be a nervous position to be in for a dog, it's vulnerable. The breed is so independent that it be that the dog just feels unnerved in that position.
