  • Sure she might not have a huge voice like Adele or Demi but she works with what she got, and she can sing, she writes her own music, she plays two instruments plus she even sometimes produces some of her music, i think it's a same that some people think you have to have a huge voice to be considered a good singer.

    • +MyLifeAs Varalika Well, everyone uses autotune but people dont understand how it works. It literally corrects the pitch of the voice so it is perfect, you still have to sing the right note but it wont matter if your slightly off pitch or not. With autotune singers need less takes when recording .... As a musician myself i can clearly hear that taylor uses autotune because she goes off pitch quite frequently during the verses, and the note"oh" in the chorus

    • +Chris Biddy the ability to sing flawlessly on key 100% of the time is a rare talent. as a singer i find that i sing flawlessly only about 25-50% of the time. Taylor in this performance shows vocal traits to be expected in a raw unedited take.

    • ***** Well not "all" the time they song on pitch but generally a developed voice will keep pitch for 90%-95% of the song... Taylor isn't even close. The word "oh" after the chorus isn't that high of a note for a soprano like Taylor but she is WAY under pitch (flat).

  • Hearing now that she was struggling with an eating disorder at this time makes this a little sad, no judgement but she does look unhealthy here. Never really thought it at the time. I'm glad she's so much healthier and happier now.

  • I’m a charter jet pilot (retired USAF pilot) and had the experience recently of flying Taylor and her crew. I fly a lot of celebrities and I must say that she was the sweetest person as were her friends. I don’t know much of her music as it’s not my generation. Down to earth and kind and now I see clearly very talented.

  • I'm not into this sort of music. But. Wow. I recently discovered this track when I was shopping in the supermarket. As soon as I got home, I searched the lyrics up on internet and I found the original video. I was amazed. Not because of the music video, but because of the acoustic version. Because the one I listened to was the acoustic version back in the supermarket. Her voice is simply smooth, decent. What a nice pure voice. I also wouldn't have thought that her face is as charming as her voice.

  • Compared to her old acoustic perfiormances, she's improved at singing soo much. Her vocal range has gotten bigger. She wouldn't have been able to hit most of these notes few years back. Somebody got intense vocal lessons.

Her songs felt like theres someone out there who feels the same, who also daydreams about their secretly beloved bestfriend, who daydreams about her crush and who cries over breakups and just gets by with life...

  • Some people are saying she can't hit the high notes. Look at 2:42, that isn't high, I know but this was 2 years ago. You should check out The 1989 World Tour, she did that part higher than we all expected. Her voice doesn't sound like a millionaire artist voice but not all live performances are perfect! I am a swiftie and I have to admit that some of her live performances like a year or two ago were rusty but she might be having a cold, cough etc. It's not easy reaching a high note or a low note. If you still disagree with me, I'd be happy to watch you hit a high note and I'll compare it with her 1989 World Tour performance!
