  • Newly converted T Swift fan here. I reluctantly went to the Eras tour movie thinking I’d have to suffer through it. I was admittedly one of those dudes that just chalked up all of her music to whining/lover scorned type of genre. Within 10 minutes of being at the movie, the only thing I could do was shake my head for never giving her a chance all these years. She’s a once in a generation talent. No one alive comes close to her. Picks up any instrument and sings any song with her whole heart and soul like she wrote it yesterday. It’s surreal.

    • Brother, she’s reasonably talent sure.. but to say “no one alive comes close to her” is a confession of not being exposed to a lot of musicians.. there are tons and tons of artist whom can do the same thing but at a far higher level.. Taylor doesn’t exist in a industry of bums, there are other deeply talented musicians with more talent than her… go watch Ben Howard performances from 2012-2015… and tell me that isn’t an artist/performer that can “come close to her”.

Sound engineers are employed for a reason.. if audio naturally came across this clear there would never be any need for them.

Some pop artistes who can sing use vocal exercises thrown in their lines to bluff you into thinking they are 'expert' singers which is commonly known as wibbly wobbly singing.. • I think pop performers really underestimate the importance of performing live and the different versions it gives us and how special it is to really see them sing into a microphone and play an instrument as Taylor clearly does here. Its special and they need to realize no one cares that they can shake and dance all over to a track and badly lip sync it. We are so tired of the pop lip sync BS. Give us something real. Thanks Taylor for getting that.

I really enjoy Justin Bieber's music and his voice is incredible, but I'll never go to a live show of his because it'd just be screaming girls and I wouldn't be able to enjoy his voice. • +Katherine Neill If there weren't screaming fans her massive fans would never see her live. Also, artists prefer having passionate fans at concerts. Maybe, like Taylor, they can do a variation but overall at least Taylor loves it when the stadium is filled with volume. Now I agree, I think artists should do more acoustic concerts, but the massive stadium concerts are just as important.

    • I like Taylor swift but I just want to point out a fault in your comment. Most singers can play an instrument and sing simultaneously, it's really common, Just saying. Taylor has a good voice but it's not amazing. She does have a very small vocal range. But that doesn't matter though because she produces good music and is a good musician.

    • Maz Max I hope she does that too but then I feel like the 1989 era will have gone on for too long. I hope she releases an acoustic album of the sixth album a year after it's released or at least choose all her hits and record them acoustically. And yes, I am :-)

      @justcutiecats2733@justcutiecats27338 жыл бұрын
    • Maz Max It's hard to say. She said in an interview early last year that she doesn't know how long it will take to make the follow up to 1989, it could be six months, a year, two years or longer. Then she said in an interview that she will probably take a break for a year at least because she feels she deserves a break and people deserve a break from her and her music. Then at the end of the 1989 Tour on Apple Music she said she hasn't planned anything for 2016. I think she will take some time off but then get bored and want to go back to music, so then she will record her sixth album and release it later this year or early next year. I hope so anyway, I want new Taylor music and a new tour.

      @137rtekke7@137rtekke78 жыл бұрын
    • 137rtekke Actually if you noticed, she never really break two year and then always release new album, i think it's just about 3-6 months she didn't do anything, like on 2014, she was still on tour by the end of May when she did the last leg of her Red Tour in Asia, so i think she needs to break with a full year or more without doing anything about music and then come back with better album since i'm not sure she'll win Grammy for AOTY.

    • I hate to spoil it for you, but there's real time post processing of her voice. That is to say, in popular slang, it's autotunes in real time from the mic feed. You can spot this if you just listen her hold a note. There's no perturbation that's normally present in human voice as it's been fixed.

      @TactileCoder@TactileCoder2 жыл бұрын
    • @@TactileCoder I agree, there might be some post production that had been made in her vocals in this performance. You can spot it during the high falsetto top note at the end of the chorus but this doesn't change the fact that she performed this really well. Despite the minimal processing, you can still hear her raw voice. If we're going to remove all the post production processing in her vocals, the result would still be pretty similar.
