Back in the 90's this was the life. MK's 1, 2, 3 and the 1995 film was one of the best.

- I liked MK trilogy for the N64 as the best MK of the 90’s. The Brutalities are my favorite finishers, and the combos with the “Aggressor” meter were big reasons why I liked it better. MK 2 is a very close 2nd. Some things were better with it, such as the Rooftop music used in this version. MUCH better than the Trilogy version IMO

- @@BillyBob-rr8se Reptile's acid spit and other projectiles like Liu Kang's fireball leave a smoke when they burn the opponent on MK2... it looks better too and more realistic.

4:27 Scorpion vs. Johnny Cage in the Living Forest stage reminds me of the start of their fight in the 1995 film, except in the movie it wasn't as dark and Scorpion didn't win and was defeated in his own lair of all places, unfortunately.

why are people complaining about him doing the Toasty fatality only once. it's his playthrough, he can do what ever the hell he wants. maybe he prefers the spear slice over the Toasty. and I would understand why. MK 1's Toasty was better MK 2's. hated how their bones were on fire, but the flames didn't move at all. it made the fatality look cheap. should've just left the flaming bones out if you're not gonna animate the fire. Ultimate MK3's was awesome. that Version trumped 1 and 2's. Loved how the skeleton fell to it's knees and crumbled to pieces.

- I’d say UMK3 > MK2 > MK1 for the Toasty fatality. UMK3 has the opponent get scared before they suffer in flames, which is a sweet detail. I like all three versions, but MK1 was the least creative if that makes sense.

I remember the guides that came out with these games, and they would list each characters worst matchups. Like Mileena is a bad matchup against Jax. For Kitaro, its kicks within sweep range. :(

Well played, but why do you have to keep doing the same moves? Exploiting the weaknesses of the game? Isn't it more fun to play with your skill rather than finding a loop hole?

- Kris Welsh He doesn't really have much of a choice. The AI is really ridiculous in this game, even on the easiest difficulty, that you're basically FORCED to use exploits.

- Mind Set Bro, that is the only way to win in this game, to do the backwards jumping high kick to force the AI in a vulnerable position. Any other way to play is impossible.

- Play UMK for the DS and try to fight the fourth, fifth, and Endurance Fight with skill on the easy tower. The ridiculous difficulty spike plus the controller reading A.I makes it impossible to fight with skill.

This one was too slow and wasted too much time in uppercut when playing portal - to me, no one got to play against smoke unless u were playing with another player.

Fuck....very low dificulty. In the highest one you can not jump forward over Kitanna or Liu Kang.... Still don't see anyone play MKII well
