Can we just take a second to respect the amount of research and time it takes to make these videos. They have to find music that isnt copyright or they buy it, edit the videos with content that could block their channel due to KZhead's backwards algorithm, make sure the info is real by checking thousands of web pages and sketchy sources of information. Then they need to retake a scene everytime he makes a mistake. If he does of course. Then there is all the other shit: • writing a script • memorizing the script • Lighting • Sound • Editing • Filming • managing all the data on SD Cards • meeting for video idea • gathering images • researching • retakes • keeping consistent enthusiasm The list really really goes on and its impossible to guess how much work they really put in because you arent there when they plan every video. But the fact how they still stick to a schedule and upload all the time. It's fantastic. Drop these guys a subscription.
However there are several instances of inaccuracies, especially regarding images and the occasional information error. However, you are rather right. I enjoy their explanations a lot.
You're staying facts. As one who used to shoot and edit....I watch these videos and think about all the work that goes into each and every one of them

"Mid engine cars are expensive" Toyota mr2: You sure about that?
They were kinda pricey for what you got. A base model MR2 was more than a Mustang GT Hatchback or base model Camaro and a fully equipped one cost more than a Mustang GT convertible or Camaro IROC-Z. More money for a less powerful, less practical car. Still a great little car, though.
Was look in for this😂
@@GodotPozzo Mr2s are cheaper here in europe than american ponies, at least right now, I don't know their prices new or if they were sold at all(lot's of imports). Even those that were sold probably cost 2x-3x more than in the US. SW20 prices are going up mind-blowingly fast though.
@@andrasjuhasz7011 Yeah, American muscle cars have always been expensive in Europe due to various import rules, tariffs, etc. In the states the Pontiac Fiero suffered the same fate as the MR2. It was overpriced for an impractical under-powered car because the development costs for mid and rear engine cars are so much more. The Delorean cost more than a Corvette with a fraction of the power. Just no point making a mid/rear engine car unless you go full exotic with a high price tag.

Donut: "Mid engine vehicles are the best handling..." MR2: *sweats in snap oversteer*
git gud.
Was Thinking Of This 😂
mid engine is the best handling - they do NOT have SNAP oversteer, they have predictable controllable oversteer
Once you learn the car, snap over steer only happens when you want it to.
The only reason MR2s and Fieros had some issues with snap oversteer is one bad drivers and two being most of the engines weight was on top of the axle rather than in front of it like a longitudinal configuration would have been. There is a reason almost all rear mid engine cars are set up longitudinal and not tranverse.

Actually that might be a genius idea
Actually Ferdinand Porsche had that idea before WW1. He was working at Austro-Daimler at the time, and one of their early electrics has hub mounted motors.
Motors and engines are two different things.
@@musewolfman What is the difference?
@@Tommuli_Haudankaivaja as I understand it, 'motor' is interchangeable with 'engine,' but not the other way. Basically, a motor is a power source for a car, be it running on a fuel or electric, but an engine is specifically a combustion engine (internal, as in a car's engine, or external, like a steam engine.)
11:13 The weights' inertia creates a force which opposes your rotation (F) This force (F) in turn creates an opposing momentum, or torque (M) This opposing torque (M) is determined by multiplying the force (F) by the distance from you to the weights, or radius (r). The bigger the radius, the bigger the opposing torque, the harder it is for you to spin freely. Pull the weights in and you gain speed.

Front engine layouts also allow for one really important thing: a unified cargo space. Even a small hatchback can store really big items if you fold down the back seats. The C8 Corvette, Lotus Evora, and Porsche Cayman all have pretty respectable storage capacities, but since the storage is split between 2 to 3 spaces, you can't fit larger items.

*There is another major reason for front engine placement :* They are also safer during a front impact or accident as the engine block absorbs the major forces, thereby keeping the passengers safe! (especially in cheaper passenger cars with weaker body structures, compared to sports and exotic cars).
Generally the forces you refer to are absorbed by the designated crumple zones designed for that purpose. Engines are typically more resilient to impact forces than the rest of the car & as a result are pushed into the firewall & at times the passenger cabin making front engined cars less safe due to resulting injury using your argument.
Shubhanga K also doesn’t hurt to mention, the more rigid the structure, the more impact load is transferred to the cabin occupants. So a structure built from front to centre in a progressively weak to strong fashion generally results in less g-force transferred to the human body.
I think that was more a result of l, rather than a reason for... mostly because, like he said when the front engined cars came about, there weren't massive speeds, so there weren't many major accidents
As if exploding more
this isn't true at all... your decreasing the crumple zone of the car which is the exact opposite of keeping people safe. This is the logical equivalent of putting a bolder under a trampoline to help break a fall
