The sounds they make are so unique. I used to hate it when I was a child, but as an adult I so appreciate it.
I hate it when they put music in the background instead of the animal sounds.

This is a scoop. Great video. The hyenas are very well coordinated, and interchange roles, rather seamlessly, between "guard duty"/keeping the rival hyena clan at bay, and feeding on the kill. This is on MalaMala Game Reserve adjacent to Kruger National Park in South Africa. The buildings are either lodges for paying guests or housing for staff.

I like the misunderstood hyena. Probably because when we were there Pieter found a den with two little ones 😍. I still have a problem watching things get eaten and certainly no desire to see a kill. I will never forget covering my eyes and putting my head down with fingers in my ears when there looked like a confrontation with a lion and some cubs 😖. It is nature I know just do not want to see it 👍🏻😁.
