Don’t sweat it Lee! I worked in the collision repair industry for many years, and was one of the only automotive electricians at just about every shop I have ever worked at! Your “crude diagram” is exactly the way I would have done it! It doesn’t need to be beautiful, it just has to make sense to you!
Yep, you said it brother. I am a collision tech currently working for a big shop in Phoenix and often deal with electrical nightmares as well. I do all of the harness replacements and repairs, along with airbag system-related problems.

After all these wiring headaches of swapping stuff between same models, idk if they're gonna want to deal with swapping an engine that isn't made to fit lmao. That being said, I REALLY HOPE THEY DO IT ANYWAYS. Even if it's just a Durango drivetrain swapped in, that'd be mental lol.

Holy smokes! This build is insane! From a fiery wreck to a fire-breathing monster, you brought this Demon back to life and gave it a whole new heart (and transmission)! The perseverance through all the electrical gremlins and random problems is truly inspiring. Huge congrats on getting this beast running and making over 800hp! Can't wait to see what future upgrades you have planned!

I've been following this build since it began, I'm so glad I was able to see this through. Lots of thought put into it, lots of soul too. I learned a lot myself about rebuilding, the process of swapping harnesses and electronics and fuel and even things I never would have thought about. Makes me appreciate my little Daytona 392 that much more.
Please add another couple ground straps to the motor from the chassis!!!!!!!! It’s starting slow and will only burn up the alternator, the red eyes, demons require extra grounds. Also, don’t forget to make sure launch control and the line lock work

THANK YOU!!!!! I had the exact same problem with my Crown Vic. No crank. Eventually, I watched my own footage and found that the car would crank with the jumper connected to the bell housing. Not the body, so I found my engine ground strap to be toast. I have been looking for a YEAR (maybe more) to find the right size o ring and cable, and just a glance from yours set me down the Mopar path, to a custom ground strap that was identical to mine, down to the exposed copper. I just ordered them and I can start my baby. Big win for me too!

Hats off to you Sir! For safety’s sake run a scatter shield…if that clutch lets go the floor is not going to protect your legs.

Love that you put a proper transmission in this and I actually like the burned look on the passenger side. Makes it look like the Demon was pulled out of hell.
Congratulations been waiting for this video! BUT PLEASE NOTE THIS: if you guys have cooling problems in the future, it can be because you guys installed the wrong intercooler pump system, regular hellcats (which is installed) compared to redeye/demon/170 have different intercooler pump systems.
