I think they should reverse the attack on Caspian border, start at military base and attack small village, then the the hill, then down to the checkpoint. wouldn't be much better but I feel like it'd at least get out of the first two OBJ.
So many Rush layouts would be better if they reversed. Noshahr Canals is the same way, crossing the water is damn near impossible.

Indeed. It looks like they didn't even test how Rush and Breakthrough flows on most maps. Some are so obvious just by opening the map. And the "New" Rush XL just makes it even worse with 128 players.
I think they should have true chaos and open ALL the MCOMs at one time. It would spread the defense out a little bit and make it to where you have to choose what you defend and what you don't.
Arica Harbor actually isn't bad, unless they flipped it going from regular Rush to Rush XL. (I don't think I've played Rush XL, but I do use Rush to farm challenges and quick unlocks) Once you take the compound, you can actually safely cross the ridgeline through OoB on foot to catch the defending team unaware. Grab a LTV or Bolte and you can hit the boost to zip through the OoB on a longer flank to strike from right in front of the defenders' own spawn.@@RxalisM It only ends up being difficult because this flank is not used effectively, everyone either just rushes down the road or only cuts across the ridge enough to trim a few seconds off the travel time instead of going for an actual flank.
Def cheating 2300kills and only 168deaths is definitely insane for an infantry player
Dude has a KD of 13.7 with 2300 kills only playing 29 matches, without ANY gadget, or equipment kills. Defo cheating. 😂
That is for sure 100% cheating. He would have had to run a perfect game every match and average over 100 kills per game to get 2300 kills in 29 matches. I have almost 4800 kills but and a little over 3400 deaths and just about 200 hours into the game with 418 games played. So yea I called cheater. Now I have had a perfect game not nothing that perfect that game I only got 56 kills and died between 10 and 15 times and I was using a take on break away where the Meg is in the ice before rework and that was the only perfect game I had on 2042 that I can remember

It seems like they had a whole story in place for a campaign. I think it's silly that they have those quotes from the characters in the loading screen when we have no idea what they're even talking about. I sure would have liked to have a campaign to explore the lore because it does seem like it might be interesting.

It's hard to come up with lore when your Specialists play both sides of the fence....against themselves, lol. The fact they abandoned the original game and did this one in the last 2 years of development really shows here. Please let them have different Specialists for each army or really just separate armies for the next one.

They just needed to bring all the buildings in by like 100m. There's way too much empty space, it feels like you're running for ages to get into a gunfight. It would also help with heli spam on the ground objectives in conquest

Battlefield games in Australia and NewZealand on PC have typically suffered with cheating and now with Crossplay pretty much enforced to find servers, console players are suffering as well. DICE and EA need to do better with improving their anti-cheat or remove the ability to crossplay with PC players.
Do agree with the first bit but the second bit not so much, Dice has got to fix the consoles snapping to grid through walls and smoke. Also got to stop the constant random head shots. If you can only see there head and you are hitting them then you should get a headshot, not get a head shot because it is the last bullet in your gun BS. You also need to be able to swap teams, basic stuff that Dice hasn't done. Also don't get me started about the shield guy or the mini chopper.

Won Caspian Border on Rush Chaos XL last night on my first game. That mode isnt about K/D, its about how you possibly break the front lines. Usually by brute force and usually on the backs of people like me who will give one to get one and the tram can capitalize.
His score is very suspicious. Definitelly deserves an investigation from devs.

Night before last I played a game and we won as attackers, I made a comment in the text chat that it was my first time making it to the final objective and about 50% of the server chimed in and said it was their first time also.
"You've got it all here if you wanna read all that stuff" ROFL sums up the interest nicely in the lore.

It's so sad people have to cheat to have fun in games. I'm on the bottom of the score board most of the time, and i have a blast. When you get those amazing plays and you start getting aimed for (happened maybe three times) is what us non-cheaters play for. nerf to M5 is going to make heli's harder to kill, unless your team focuses on it - why they won't, my teams usually have 50% snipers.
I hate that as battlefield has gotten older, people target vehicles less and less and allow them to run rampant as a result because “hurr durr Call of Duty” infantry combat is all they care about

The problem is that we have 1 experienced rush player trying to push, and 127 conquest players hunting kills. Do the PTO maths on that one. That's my experience of most Rush XL game so far.

I am sure I found a easter egg area on this map. One of the buildings on the western side has a level where the windows can be broken and inside is a fully kitted out office. I already know that things can be broken inside from firing from outside. I am sure, there must be a way in - Somewhere.

Man i did a game right now with the attack shoppa and just fells nice, the gunner is definitly much better now, this game now is really 200% better . That Rate of fire from the gunner is even better as BF4, i will unlock the night vision soon .
What's insane is my first match of rush XL was caspian border, we were defending. Attackers actually pushed to the last set of bombs. They detonated one of them. We ended up winning with the last obj in tact....attackers won in my book

Since a few days I’ve seen a few hackers, that almost never happened before… they must have found an exploit or something.
There might be others that like what im about to say but I really wish they would let us customize our soldier character fully. Change the uniform color/ design, change vest design kinda how you’re able to customize your character in ghost recon . Also I wouldn’t mind buying skins for weapons if im able to use the design or parts with other types of skins.

I didn't mind the specialists. I think currently I'm annoyed I can't take an ammo box with Casper. Now I have to snipe as a medic. Makes sense...I think the game play was more an issue than the classes or lack of.
Cheating with the PP-29 seems to be the meta hack at the moment. Had a guy get over 250 kills on Stranded when he was sitting on the ship sniping us on the last point using the PP-29. EA/Dice is really slow at catching and banning them too with them often running the hacks for weeks on end before getting banned.
I've seen a bunch of highly suspect players in recent weeks running the PP-29 and just obliterating everyone at any range with it. People who go over 100 kills per round with less than 20 deaths total (often under ten). Doing that in one round? Sure, might be a good day. But doing it in every round is just giving it away. You can run solo matches against bots and only go infantry and you can be pressed to do 100+ kills with basically free reign against them. Doing that with everyone else racking up kills? I just don't buy it. The number of people you have to actively SEE to get those kills when they're not bunching and you have other players in the match, nah, not legit.
Nice to see jack feeling how some of us do about BF2042 we literally get spawn killed most of the time and it feels like no control over the battlefield or contrabution from other players jump in to battlefield 4 and you will understand where gamers play the objective and you don't get slaughtered spawning or navigating the map
If Jack would be creative director of the next battlefield, the game would be great
I think it would be cool if they got rid of the specialist and made it to where you could customize your whole character. Ammo pouches, vest, packs, shirt pants, knives. If they wanted to do their micro transactions that way, I’m ok. I don’t have to buy what I don’t like. I just don’t like the whole specialist hero shooter thing.

Ive won twice on caspian border while attacking in rush xl. The key is smoke grenades and people who know how to push and when.
It seems impossible, but it's incredibly challenging to plant in these conditions, I personally plant the bomb at least 2 to 6 times in this mod using Mackay. I haven't seen anyone doing a video about bomb planting efficiency, would be nice to see some interesting tactics

Honestly im Happy with the new lore, this games concept is really interesting and could make for a very unique story hut we never got one, im still praying with that new studio that will now handle the story aspect of the battlefield series

I bought this game when it first came out, it was a mess and I left it for a long while. But i went in a couple of days and I am really loving it, feels like a Battlefield a mad rush up front
Everytime i watch gameplay of this game im happy that battlebit is thing.
I have only encountered a rage hacker once so far. He was a gunner in a helicopter and had aimbot so was super obvious. As soon you got in sight you died. Still impressive compared to other FPS games where hackers are a common occurrence and feels like you see one, once per day.
The best thing about BF2024 is the main menu, and the quit button.
I played defence for a while on Caspian Rush and it was absolutely one sided. They need to change something or just take it out of rotation.

Rush chaos XL is the ultimate meat grinder I’ve been needing for leveling guns. I’m down, and honestly it’s so insane that I’ve seen some serious teamwork required to win. Whole teams chatting with each other and making strategies to win

I'm not a skin guy, but I kind of wish they'd make more for the guns. I haven't spent a cent on microtransactions and I have a bunch of skins for the "core" guns, but barely anything interesting for the utility guns like the BSV-M or Ghostmaker.

They've missed the boat on the lore. Only way they can really push that would be through a BF1 style Operations game mode now. Tell the story in the context of the players actions

I still really enjoy this game. Maybe I’m just stubborn but I play at least one round almost every day. It’s fun, even if it doesn’t feel like a BF game at times.
I had this kind of Rush XL match and after countless pushes decided to not give a single fuck about the M-coms and went sniping. This game mode is insane on this map
