*2:00** WOW, no scatter shield or loop, those people REALLY are crazy. When I was building my street race car, I had all 4 bolts shear off my driveshaft yoke and the driveshaft tried it's best to make it into the driver's compartment. Everything gets a loop now.*

24:44 That's the oil pump with an external pickup line in the back and two lines in the front running to a remote oil filter. It's the stock oil pump position on all big block Mopar and 426 hemi based engines.

how much does it weigh aprox ?
How long is the track? 8th mile?
Is the splined coupler from gearbox to transfer case designed to be a break point? Looks quite small in comparison to the shafts.
Torque multiplication in the gearbox means the shaft can be smaller due to the lower torque seen by that shaft In general that’s the reason it’s smaller
That style of coupler rarely fail.. the shafts break or they strip the splines generally when they fail there due to miss alignment from flexing between the boxes..

Back in the 80s this was done with extended fromt end jeeps. But most made 2wd. Ty his is a way better car. However The jeeps where for rough terrain
