great video 🙂🙂 beautiful bit of kit in its day...... spent many an hour in AFV lessons in late 80's looking through bino's at models of BTR 60PB's. though shocked to find out yrs later it was driven by 2 petrol engines !

i think that the BTR could benefit from a long cannon underneath the chassis to give it the firepower of a tank whilst still keeping a low profile.

Nice idea and agreed! Might be a one-shot affair unless it can be fed manually or by autoloader through a cutaway down through the chassis? I've seen pictures of Cuban and Iranian BTRs with BMP-1 turrets with the low-pressure smoothbore 73mm 2A28 Grom cannon in place of the 14.5mm KPV HMG turret. Some Cuban examples have turret-mounted 100 mm guns mounted on BTRs

А у нас в 4 рот был БТР 60 ПБ с бортовым номером 295 в Чехии г Высоке Мито 265 мсп я был в 5 роте водителем БТР бортовой номер 314 потом на 306 оба учебные .
