  • The reason Kong is so small is because he's not fully grown he will be Godzilla sized in the crossover.

    @PowerCrunchVideos@PowerCrunchVideos4 жыл бұрын
    • @big D In Skull Island he is 30 meters tall. Big compared to other Kongs who are only like 7 meters tall but still small compared to Godzilla whose over 100 meters tall. According to the director though Kong was only an adolescent when Skull Island took place. It took place like several decades ago so he definitely had enough time to grow to Godzilla size.

    • Yeah, but it had a poorly-written introduction. There was no build-up of any kind to it, and considering the power of the original Oxygen Destroyer and how it worked alongside Godzilla himself as part of the film's message warning about the dangers of our constant desire to create superweapons, the weapon's usage in this this film felt shallow. Plus, it didn't even dissolve the flesh from the bones of those fish.

Reilly's character notes that Kong in K:SI is still essentially a baby by the standards of his species and still has a lot of growing to do before being an adult, which I presume is how they're going to justify a massive size boost to match him up against Godzilla later on.

    • I disagree. Yes there was a lot of fighting but every fight was, shaky cam and the camera didn’t pan out long enough to watch theses incredible creatures go at it. And every time Godzilla was going down with Ghidorah a plane or a human would get in the way. Honestly it made made enjoy the 2014 fight at the end better, at least it felt like there was finally payoff. KOTM’s had a few moments and a few beautiful far off shots but suffered with shaky cam/close up/unclarity of what’s going on and , then people getting in the way. Left me disappointed 😞

    • @@starbrand3726 I mean I'm not very familiar or fond of Godzilla either but do you blame them? It was still an awful movie regardless how much entertainment people get out of it. There's just so much wrong with that movie OTHER THAN the fact that the Godzilla in that film was nothing like the OG Godzilla. The writing is atrocious, the tone of the film constantly changes so much that you can feel yourself getting whiplash & the characters are just dumb & stupid. Granted, the same can be said about this film, only difference is that they get Godzilla & the other monsters right AND the fight scenes are epic & great, which is what makes the film (KoTM) so entertaining. Who cares about the character actor in movies like these? They are not the headliners. Save your money on a whole lot of human acting and invest it into what or who the movie is about. Simple.
