Jordan is entirely correct on the fudging of the figures from recording stations. In New Zealand there is a town in Hawke's Bay called Hastings, where the original temperature readings came from the local airport, which was located in a cold area, and later moved into the city which was warmer. On cold mornings the temperature readings difference could be nearly 3 degrees C warmer in the city.
In my state the temps in the city are regularly 5-8 degrees warmer in the city compared to my town- and in the outskirts of my borough there’s another 3-5 degree difference. That brings the temperature differential between countryside or farmland and cities close to 15 degrees. (Edited for math 😅)
They have known that for at least two decades. elementary. For a short time this may have been true but is of no consequence when you speak of the seventies to present.

Steven certainly had moments where JP got emotional but that could be to do with the fact that steven seems disrespectful when he's too busy writing things down, avoiding eye contact and appearing disinterested. They both had their moments i would say but Steven's unwillingness or inability to join the dots that jp was laying out was disappointing. Steven debate style is like point scoring in a tae kwon do match and doesn't seem to be open to learn but to win. Hes a smart lad, perhaps he's placating to his fanbase Just my opinion
