Sky News host Rita Panahi has slammed US North Face after the retailer offered customers a 20 per cent discount if they complete their “digital course in racial inclusion”.
Customers are taught how “privilege can give us access to the outdoors” while others could be excluded.
Ms Panahi reacted to a man who “took one for the team” and completed the course.
“The course is really just insulting to my intelligence,” one man told Fox News.
“They really want to convince you that white people are getting a Caucasian discount every time they go to bass pro shops.”

Man, American health industry sucks, I am blessed with be a 17 year old teenage male with an athletic body from cycling who is 5'5 height, 114 pounds, estimated VO2 max of over 68, resting heart rate of 42 BPM, and being perfectly healthy and slim. The costs of healthcare in this country is so stupid, in comparison to countries in Europe. Though Europe does have it's own share of problems, but it looks like people there are now voting more conservative and towards the right more. I feel for you guys, my parents have a lot of money, and I can spend on a lot of things with their help, but I have a soul of a cheap skate guy. I don't spend money on anything, other than necessities, and I feel and know it is absolutely wrong on how anyone can be in a position like this where they cannot get the help they need. We need to get rid of these bureaucrats first, I would say vote red, and lets see what we can do, once we get things settled down, though it is going to be a hard battle to make healthcare better in the USA.

To North Face: I was one of your high end customers. Live a outdoor live, bass boat, overland and 4x4 rig. Me and me and my family is outdoors and on safari about 30% of the year. as extreme as it can get. We will be doing so and will be relieving ourselves of the NorthFace gear in our ownership

I have xray and mri proof of my injuries and at 69 I can't get pain medication as a Native/White woman. So screw them and their pain whining, they are not the only ones being refused.
I live in Australia and the health system here is decent, but I've seen poorer people struggle to get prescriptions for ongoing pain medication because people think they are faking. I'd say it's likely more to do with socio-economic background than race in America too, but you know now I've basically said black people are poor. Can't win.

Last time I looked, I didn't have to pay the outdoors to go walking in it.
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest of the US. My family didn't have much money so my sports equipment was very basic, no brand names. I'd share equipment with friends, none of this was a problem. There were Black kids that went to the lake and everyone hung out on the beach. I'd go fishing with an Asian-American guy and there were always other Asians on the pier. When I moved to California I'd see non-white people jogging, walking in parks, rock climbing, families taking hikes, etc. What is the point of this effort to make people feel fearful and uncomfortable??
